Thank you very much for your videos. As an overpronator with a clearly unstable gait, 1.75m tall and 75kg, my foot is normal, leaning towards narrow, who runs approximately 10km per week in a single session at a pace of 5:15, 90% on hard dirt roads and 10% on the road, and who doesn't mind spending money to protect their body, which Asics do you recommend? Asics GT 2000 13 Trail or Asics Kayano 31 or other? Thank you for your time
The kayano 31 is perfect for walking and standing, it's on another level compared to my previous adidas ultra boost. I do a lot of walking around 18.000 - 22.000 steps a day on my traveling plus a lot of standing and this shoes is amazing in terms of comfort, stability and fatigue effect after a lot of walking. The downside is the upper mesh especially in the front is below average in terms of durability. Mine need some hole patches after a week of used and it is also prone to stains. I heard HOKA is also very good but I haven't tried it yet.
I'm a lighter runner, 54kg male, overpronation is the main thing im struggling with, and occasional planta facsia, when at the store i was told that gt2000 would be better suited for me because the kayano would be too heavy. What are your thoughts on this, specific to me, currently run like 10-12km on long runs at like 8min/km pace, hoping to progress soon, which would be better suited for me
Same doubt here... but I think kayano is better for us. I have a flat foot and over pronate too and God help us. I buyed gt-2000 11 and need to return cuz so much feet on my right feet only (?). Best wishes fro Brazil!

So to be clear the Kayano is good for walking and standing eg when commuting? And would it be good for heavyset people?
Yes, it's a max cushion stability shoe.
Kayano is good for running also if u have a wide forefoot and overpronate.
I have the gt 2000 seem fine. Took a bit to break in. I am not super picky with shoes don't notice differences a lot

What is best for supinated foot between the 2?
It's difficult to answer without an assessment unfortunately.
I have injured ankle legaments and a flat foot. Which one is the best to buy. Thanks a lot for your reply
Sorry I can’t provide direct advice on injuries without as assessment

Obrigado amigo. Thanks for the insight
Same, I developed a bit of shin issues as well after recovering. I went for the kayano 31. I already had an ultra boost and it was not helping.
Which one is better for flat foot.?
Both could work
Do you find that the sizing is the same?
Wider fit in the kayano
Is the Kayano 31 waterproof?
No but the gt 2000 comes in a gore tex version
@@james_mccormackthat’s only for the version 12s right? Not sure if the gore tex version is out for version 13 yet?
@@ianisaiahdingyes, only the 12 available at the moment 👍
@ thanks!
