When you get to Arkansas, the town of Eureka Springs could be some fun inspiration. A small mountain town in the Ozarks, full of Victorian houses, populated by a quirky bunch of people (hippies, LGBT+ people, artists, bikers...). It has an old hotel that used to be a quack hospital and now offers ghost tours, a giant statue of Jesus, a tiger sanctuary, and a main street full of cool little shops. One of my favorite lil towns!

I have a suggestion, it's a lil bit big and I understand if you wouldn't want to, but could you do an Italy inspired home with a jade colour scheme in one of the rooms in the interior? My best friend was planning to go to Italy this year and stay in a beautiful villa, but couldn't because of covid so I'd love for you to make one for her! ✨

I would love if you chose Washington state in the future! I live in Bellingham, Washington. Which is a small city up near Canada on the coast. We have a ton of random weird old architecture here. A lot of wacky things in Seattle as well. Spokane (on the east side) I heard is almost like a whole different state in terms of style. We also have Leavenworth in the mountains which is more central in the state, that’s all Bavarian style.

I'm from WA State; the architecture varies depending on where you go. Seattle is a mix of Modern and older victorian in some places, and a lot of the rest of the state you're going to find ranch homes, and duplexes with a very cookie cutter look because of the American Military occupation in the southern plains (Tri-City area). But there are a LOT of unique and beautiful homes as well!

As a Washingtonian, I would love to see you do a PNW build! There are so many fun architectural styles you could go for, like house boats or island cabins, or a build based on some of the older homes on Queen Anne in Seattle. I live in Mass. I think for here you could do a "cape cod" it is mainly a one-level home, normally with a dormer or two on the front. they are usually raised and have a small porch just to the front door of the house. they also usually have exposed foundations since they are raised up, they are usually concrete. Most are one to two bedrooms but a lot I have been in have had finished basements. most of the time they are pretty closed off as well with archways into the rooms. I hope this helps a little. love your content!

I live in the UK so this is very much a viewpoint I've gotten just from American media but the look I always associate with Massachusetts is lowkey the aesthetic they have in Realm of Magic mixed with Brindleton Bay's. I recall Sabrina's house in particular having stained glass windows but also that white wooden stuff on the outside (I have no idea what this stuff is actually called, it's just that thing all American houses are covered in). I know I've seen houses in movies that had those crazy doors from RoM on them too.

  • @pastakittyqueen

I've always associated the yellow-y wood tones (both the floors and doors) with a more country-ish feel, and by extension the further north New England states. This house just feels very Vermont, and it looks really cute. I'd love to see you do more New England states in the future, especially Massachusetts since I'm originally from there.

I don't believe you've done NY yet -- but I might recommend checking out Google Maps for Douglaston Manor in Queens. I grew up near it and the entire area has one of the historical landmark laws where homeowners can't change the facades of the front of the homes so they can maintain their look from when the originals were put up. It also part of the inspiration for West Egg from the Great Gatsby!

I've got no clue if you've done this before but I have an idea for a state!
A valiant Virginia home- I live there and oh my GOSH there's so many historical, like 1700/1800 homes of rich old landlords but there super duper pretty. Like any home in Williamsburg or old town alexandria, *Chefs kiss.* Continue the V theme lol!

I'd love to see an Arizona/New Mexico stucco build! It would be a fun change of pace from all the New England, haha. Either that or Texas!

Would love to see your take on some of the beach houses in North and South Carolina!! My family goes to the Outer Banks all the time and they have some of the most gorgeous, colorful beach houses!!!

Do Delaware!!!! The first state and it has a lot of different sections like beach houses, farm land, city, and more suburban homes! Great variety of home styles! Also I’m from Delaware

As someone from Washington yeeess though I'm really bad at knowing architectures... we have a lot of ramblers and houses built in the 60s where I live ?? Split story houses are also common

    Pumpkins!🎃
But seriously, this house has a really good vibe. I especially like the dark red outside paint, that really fits the trees 🙂🍂

    Love it!
Suggestion for next state: North Carolina! You know, you could go all out and do the Biltmore Estate lol (or just a normal southern-styled North Carolina home - we have a range of styles!)
Also, smh I disagree with the hogs. In NC, we have a place called Cookout (you'll find them sometimes in Virginia and SC - not sure about other states), and they have millions of milkshakes including a mint oreo which is one of my favorites!

I enjoy this series. When I saw it was Vermont my first thought was oh, fall colors! 😂 I feel your pain tho about a lot of regions of the country looking similar. I am in Indiana and swear the Indiana, Ohio, Illinois region all looks the same. I have to get several states away to see a difference. I will say, from a Midwest perspective, I love seeing city housing in real life. Like, the side by side tall, row houses? I dont see that here so it's always neat to me, but that would be a pain to build 😂
