    I've playing since the 2000s and this is one of the best advices I've seen for new players. When I started just picked the most cool looking characters and go with that. And nowadays as well as before people put their mains or anchor characters first on the team, leaving them on a sure loss if their character gets defeated, so is an excellent advice for newcomers.

    Cool video! Are you going to make a video about the characteristics of the characters to know what to choose as mains?

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just quick notes about each character? Thats not a bad idea.
      What I was doing is mini guides showing the character main moves and what each of the specials and EX do and some combo examples. But these will be a video for each character.
      Your video I can cover the whole cast in 1 video, I might actually do that before the game is out. Thanks for the idea!

      @@TrulyAmiracle Yes please, that would be awesome!
      I've been looking for something like this on internet and there is literally nothing! For example, in Tekken 7 there are tons but here in KOF there isn't even one.
      For example, we got a character like:
      Dragunov (Tekken 7) : A rushdown character. Hits hard. Here are some of his moves and his charistics
      Or something like: King: this character is a grappler and you need to Learn many motion inputs.
      Something like that would be awesome! As it would be my first KOF I had no idea about the characters and I'm sure it happens to many people as well.

    Very good video! Sorta new to kof so not 100% sure what each char fully does yet. Team so far is Iori, Blue Mary and Geese when he drops, so what order should they be in?

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Iori is flexible but he is a strong anchor,
      Mary is good as point or 2nd.
      Geese works anywhere but if he’s close to his 14 version he’ll be a good anchor.
      So Mary/Iori/Geese or Mary/Geese/Iori depending on your style.

  • @doumanseiman2645
    @doumanseiman2645 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What I do in kof is I actually dont care much about synergy, I just make a team with 3 chars I like even if they dont make sense together. Then what I try to optimize is their order.

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah you can do that too, as long as they arent all meter hungry you should be fine.
      This is for people that want to make the team synergy better.

  • @siekensou77
    @siekensou77 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    alongside your first part, i think there's a few other useful orders:
    Best Second Worst
    Second Best Worst
    Second Worst Best
    Worst Second Best
    Worst Best Second
    when the last is Best or Second, they are on cleanup duty.
    if the last character is your worst, they are also on cleanup but you are hoping to have a much weaker final fight thus your worst is enough to win.

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well.. the idea is to have your worst character have the most playtime and that there's no meter in play so you get to explore them in a more timid environment.
      The goal here is to learn, your awkward characters get more time in play so you get more comfortable with them and your "better" character gets to practice clutch time and converting hits into damage.
      but if you wanna win even if you're still lost in regards to the game's system and your characters then that's a different thing.

    • @siekensou77
      @siekensou77 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TrulyAmiracle
      depends on how confident you are with your worst character for vs play. maybe you might want to practice more outside of a competitive setting before you do serious competitive time with them.
      but the character is still chosen because you know them more than others (enough to be on cleanup duty)

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@siekensou77 Yeah see, going into matches i’d assume you at least went to training and labbed the character for a bit.
      Idk what competitive means to you to here but in general online is a great place to practice, you dont have to think of it too seriously especially early on and focus on using it to learn the game.
      I dont disagree with the team orders you did, the idea was to make the whole ordeal for newcomers less complicated.
      If they’re totally new to the game, who’s on clean up duty should be the least of their worries.

    • @siekensou77
      @siekensou77 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TrulyAmiracle
      i think it would be easier for newer folks to understand the last character you will play as is the last stand. and either you dont want to resort to them or you want them to destroy everything.
      easier to understand than analyzing meters.
      second and best out front means 2 char vs 2-2.5 characters. saving the remains of the last character for your worst.
      but yea having worst on first or second would be primary practice focused.

    My team is King Dino, Ramon, and I'm having trouble picking a 3rd.
    I'm considering either Heidern or Dolores.
    I'm new to the series so idk who needs more meter than who lol. Either way, I'm more comfortable with Ramon so I'll put him Last and King Dino first. Just gotta fill that 3rd slot.

      I recommend watching some matches with “El Rosa” in them, he plays both Dino and Ramon so you can an idea on how they spend their bar.
      Both Heidern and Dolores are great picks, in your team I’d say the order would be something like Ramon/Dino/Dolores or Heidern, once you get comfortable with the team that is.

    Two characters that I'm thinking about maining are Chris and Robert. What are some good positions for them?

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chris is usually a good battery but in 15 i think being 2nd will be his best spot coz his EX moves really open up his options and damage.
      Robert is flexible, solid neutral and zoning with no bar but his damage is relatively low meterless, if he’s 2nd or 3rd he’ll be able to convert his hits into damage and have a bit more screen control.

    Is Whip a good control character? Loving the guides btw

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah her tools work all around so she can be extra annoying as 1st coz the opponent doesnt have meter to deal with her big buttons, or she can go 2nd and use things like her EX air swing for crazy mobility and mixups.

  • @SuntoryKick

    Any idea what position Elisabeth, Ash, Rock, and Geese would be? Also, thanks for the helpful video!

    • @TrulyAmiracle
      @TrulyAmiracle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Elizabeth: this one's tough coz we don't know if her super still juggles off of everything, that and her EX counter looks mad cheap.
      in XIII her lifeline was her anywhere juggle super. She'll prob be better 2nd or as an anchor but its just a guess with her, too many unknowns.
      Ash: Usually an Anchor to use his San Collute install and EX fireballs for zoning, or 1st as a basic Guile style battery.
      Geese: Very flexible, but having meter greatly enhances his damage and combo routes, so 2nd or Anchor if he still has Raging Storm as his lvl3.
      Rock: Control character but he needs meter to be threatening, 2nd is probably his best spot.
      If his rising tackle isnt ass then he can be a decent point, especially that its not a charge special now.

    • @TrulyAmiracle

      In your team I think Chizuru might be best as anchor, but she can be good 2nd as well. Her EX moves are good and her clone super is nice to have on deck.
      Yuri is flexible all around, and King is a good point or 2nd, its still early but she might be good as anchor as well.

      Vanessa works as a middle but she gets crazy with meter, so anchor is good as well.
