Is the adjustable shank bar designed to be inserted into the receiver with the long end facing up, for vehicles that are a bit lower to the ground? UPDATE - It is. I just read the instruction manual. Thanks for your great products!
Maybe silly question but I assume that you have to jack up and release bars from trailer frame and then from tow vehicle when unhitching but all the settings are preserved when hooking back up.

Correct, as long as you are using the same tow vehicle, and trailer with the same amount of weight.
