Hello Mark and Kat,

Wow well done for making so many notes!

Hey, I am a little disappointed with myself having not known your youtube channel until now. All expressions you two are using here are so helpful and I've heard these many times when I had a conversation with natives. Thank you and will subscribe this.

I’m happy Mr mark get recovered quickly ❤❤❤and thanks Ms kat❤❤❤
Thanks so much! I'm feeling much better now :)
Hi Kat and Mark, great you talk about trending topics like eating healthier. I think you're both right, so the most effective for long term is to add tweaks gradually, here and there, and incorporate excercise. In few weeks, lifestyle will be dramatically better for a good quality of life in the long run. Thanks and blessings.
Well done using so much of the vocabulary from the class! 👏 We totally agree with you!
Great podcast. Thank you.

Amazing lesson 💯Thank you very much ❤
Glad you liked it!
Thanks a lot for the helpful stuff! I'll try to avoid eating greasy and oily food and drink less fizzy drinks. I used to eat tons of chocolate but since the beginning of this year I cut on it. I do not put sugar into my tea at all. It trains my will power.😊😅😂😂😂

well done! we've cut down on eating out, but we still like to go out for a nice dinner every now and then!
Good morning😊. I am still yo yo dieting, but I have decided to go for a few tweaks here and there. Hopefully, I will see some good results in the long run. Eating a bit less, working out more without stressing out but doing it consistently. It sounds like a good plan. Let's see if I stick to eat.
Wow great sentences and thank you for sharing! I agree it's all about finding a balance between having fun and taking care of yourself - which is easier said than done!
Thank you. I learned some new words like tweaks, opting, and treat myself
Great work today! Keep it up!
❤❤❤
Thanks for studying with us!
Thank you very much
You are welcome!🙏
Yoyo diet is interesting word
Definitely. Stop-start-stop-start ... up and down and up and down 😅
Thank you for participation of google and all of you , hope fully I can divide my time between my busy schedule as a manual worker who needs to work to earn a living . I am not a figure who should trouble the wider community ( the world) this priority should be given to those who have Made many. Contributions to the lives of the. people or the world community.
loved it
Great to hear that!
You are amazing teachers, really thanks
Thank you so much! We're happy to have you!
Thank you for the wonderful lesson! I have found a lot of new words and expressions in the topic like yo-yo dieting, fad diet, processed food, little tweaks and some more. It also was interesting and useful to understand better as trends, as the usual habits in both countries. And these small differences in pronunciation as well.
We’re so glad to hear that! Thanks for studying with us and writing down your list of great vocab ☺️
In Korea as a past we often took our breakfast. But nowadays it gets a little differences. I think it would be good for us to take breakfast though!
In the United States, we believe that "breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" I'm not sure why but we love a big healthy breakfast :)
You guys are really really amazing......you both teach from your heart❤❤❤......love you both
Aw thank you, we try to! Thanks so much for joining us in class today!!
Good that we can combine between American and British toung
We're happy that you're enjoying it!
You are both great to deliver the information, thanks a lot we need something related to sport specially soccer game if you please. You are both great again
That’s a great idea! I think we will do TV and sports for next week’s topics
thanks a lot for your effort, please we want a business English if you can do it will be grateful😉
We have some more plans for business English quite soon!
It’s incredible
Thanks so much!
Hello! I liked this topic a lot, very interesting, thanks! I have never gone on a diet, because I understand that there is necessary to have a balance eating fads, proteins and cabs. It can be really difficult to tweak yourself on healthy eating, but as you said small changes makes result in the future. I deliberately refused from alcohol a year ago and try to cut down the amount of fizzy drinks and greasy food, but sometimes it is hard and just a cereal and salad can be tasteless and then I treat myself to sweet treats. Overall I opt for healthy eating to get in more nutritious food and have more energy.
Wow thanks so much for sharing and practising so many phrases from the episode! I agree that it's always important to treat yourself every now and then during a diet and to listen to your body!
❤❤❤❤ rinse asparagus, add olive oil, salt, pepper and toss to a microwave for 8 minutes cooking mode.

I love your videos
Thank you so much! 🙂🙂
Excellent lesson! Plus The advice you give was so useful! Guys, I know that somewhere you said it but now I can’t find the right part in the video : dig in…it’s one …but I can’t remember / is it a separable phrasal verb in tbis context? Also..please ..what’s the verb you used that is what you say just before you start eating: it’s not “serve food” like ChatHPT told me !! I remember this is not the one you used ..
Hi there! In our Cooking and Eating Phrasal Verb class we introduced "dig in" for a common way to start your meal. "Let's dig in!" It's common to say alone in this phrase, however, if you want to add an object, we'd probably say dig in to or dig into the food.
Dig it in would give it a different meaning. This is when we usual a shovel to dig, dig the shovel into the ground, dig it in.
When we start a meal, we often say Dig in or Bon Appetit like in French or we can simple say, Enjoy!
@@highlevellistening Thank you so much! Now i understand the use of dig in better. And...nope the other verb I meant was: dish up!! 😊 and I found it in another video of you later!! I knew I'd heard it from you but did not remember in which episode.
Good research! 😄 (I honestly couldn't remember the phrase)
It’s highly recommended. Could you please share me the pdf of the Video. Thanks

Dr.Berg said that oat milk is worse than regular cow milk. You have higher insulin spikes
Interesting - I actually still drink cows milk, we just wanted to give an example of alternatives that some people use.
Indian and Australian like to mix both and I like how flexible it is to talk in both accent😂
That's great! Thanks for joining us today!
Hi, kat. How you doing? During the episode you said : " . . . and since l meal prepped, things are ready to go. Could you please explain this sentence more, especially the word " meal " ? Thanks.
Sure! A meal is a plate of food we eat, usually for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a lot of people eat 3 meals a day. Meal prepping is preparing that food and getting items ready before the meal, so you can save time when you’re busy during the week.
Hope that helps!
@@highlevellistening grammartically, meal is the noun and prepped is the verb, are'nt they? Sorry, maybe i ask a lot. Thanks.
It's a good question:
- [to meal prep] has become a verb, I suppose because it has become so common lately.
- I [meal prepped] yesterday.
- We [meal prepped] on Sunday evening.
- I [am meal prepping] right now.
So it's easier to treat the words as 1 chunk, I hope that makes sense!
@@highlevellistening thanks.
In the Future Perfect Tense and Future Perfect Continuous Tense, why do we use 'have' with all subject pronouns, and we don't use 'has'
Good question.
The structure of the Future Perfect always starts with: "Subj + will have + 3rd form verb."
Because there is "will" the next word must always be "have". This is the same like "can have : should have : might have : may have" and other modal verbs. So it's always "will have."
- I will have done it.
- You will have done it.
- He will have done it
- They will have done it.
Easy peasy!
In any tense or sentence where we use two or verbs:
will do
will have done
will have been doing
could have done
would have done
can do
might do
We don't need to change or conjugate the second verb, so it will stay the same for all subjects. will/could/would/can/might don't ever need to be changed, so it makes it easier.
Here are some examples (the only ones we change/conjugate are in the present tense)
I have some laundry.
She has some laundry.
I will do the laundry later.
She will do the laundry later.
I will have done all the laundry by 7pm tonight.
She will have done all the laundry by 7pm tonight.
I will have been doing the laundry for 3 hours by the time you get here.
She will have been doing the laundry for 3 hours by the time you get here.
Hope that helps!
@@highlevellistening very clear explaination. Thank you so much🙏💕
Get in= eat what you do not normally feel like having?
That would be a good description yes. Sometimes [getting in] protein, calories, vegetables implies that you don't always want to eat them, or that it's hard to make yourself eat them.
❤👌
🥰🥰
I was so upset that I didn't receive a notification from you
We're here now! Hope it was worth the wait!
@@highlevellistening It was a pleasure to wait for you
I defeated cancer with healthy eating
We're happy that you're healthy!
@@highlevellistening Thank you ❤ You are right. Healthy eating includes fresh fruits and vegetables. And cut out sugar, salt, bread, fat.
I contact or socialize with people on social media using the ratio of understanding or reading people's minds , sorry look at the positif side . Meaning of tend to please
If you tend to do something, you usually do it or it normally happens.
Summer tends to be hot. Summer is usually hot.
I tend to stay home during the week. I normally/usually stay home during the week.
Hope that helps!
@@highlevellistening thanks
If I say I tend to wake up at 5 and he tends to wake up at 6 is both correct
Those both sound great!

Hi
Hi good morning!
thanks but i m vegan
Good sentence! This is a polite way to tell someone at a restaurant, at work, or among friends.
You ok Mark?😢
He's doing so much better thank you!
What's wrong with cow's milk 😢, at least it's natural and organic, I mean let's hope so 😊
Nothing is wrong with it! ☺️ it’s more about variety and choosing different options. In the US and UK we drink a huge amount of milk and it can definitely lead to too many calories without realizing it. It’s just bringing some variety in ☺️
😅👍
Absolutely right! I think it's more about lifestyle and eating habits, but to be honest, I believe that the amount we intake is what really matters, don't you think?
For sure, we say “everything in moderation” which means a bit of everything but not too much ☺️
@@highlevellisteningSure, everything in moderation it is. 👍Thanks ❤
I found your podcasts really useful. Thanks, two great teachers ❤️ ❤️
Glad you like them! Thanks for studying with us!
Thanks!
Thank you very much Ken, as always we really appreciate it!
I need to go on diet , I put on too much weight because every morning I ate four toast with honey and too much bread during the other meals , but today I 've decided to stay on track, cutting down carbohydrates and sugar and cutting out fizzy drinks.
