  • This is work done for the great guys at Roest - www.roestcoffe... - showing behind the exterior shell of their coffee roaster.
Our goal was to capture the attention through a short, sharp and concise animation, and educate their clients in how their coffee roaster works.
    Technical Info:
Model prepared using Siemens NX (including Motion Graphics)
    Rendered using KeyShot 9
    Post-processed in After Effects.

I've been using keyshot for years and this is indeed one of the best animations rendered in this software I've seen, hats off.

Brilliant work. All frames are keepers for sure. If I may however share the one which is going in my hall of fame is when the beans drop into the tray and the light turns on. Its so natural that its so soothing. Also a huge fan of the matrix style freeze frame with pan and tumble movements! So fresh!

Thank you Roshan! Really nice to hear that. Beans falling down is my own little favorite here too :) I think I should be uploading this to vimeo too to avoid that pesky compression.

Thank you! What test are you referring to?

@@Miror Sorry, it's the floating text I meant.. and the light streak was done in post processing ? Using houdini or Aftereffect or something similar right? Very classy indeed.

@@jacks19822 Ah, gotcha! Light streaks and sound lines were done in KeyShot actually, but the text was done in After Effects yes : )
      Thanks again!

@@Miror Woow that's amazing, that was true mastery.
Sound effects can be done using fading area light, but streaks had me buffled, still couldn't think of a way to do that...
I'm trying to replicate the running light streak effect (through the pcbs) in dyson's ads here... scratching my head..

This is a 100Ks dollar ad, using many software to compose such a film.
