    You will get it! It’s a completely didn’t car than last year! I never listen to the track guy! If he tells me to stop burning out and if I want a longer burn out I do it! I never even look at them any more!

    You'll get it all squared away!! Stepchild Sounded good. Shifts seem pretty good. Just need more seat time with the new set up brother.

      Yeah man, still have suspension adjustments I can make. Only things I messed with were tire pressure and launch rpm. She'll only improve from here. Thanks bro!

    Line lock is a pain on my car as well. It works everytime you practice and fails when you roll up lol

    A 2700 DA would be almost 10 percent power loss, once sorted with good weather the 750s your wanting are there, stay positive “YOU CAN DO IT”

    • @BackyardBMX73
      @BackyardBMX73  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm pretty sure I could have run a 7.9 that day, despite the DA. Better DA will definitely help, but I think that's over with til fall lol. There's a lot to gain in the 60' as well. Then finding what shift points work best and so on... We'll get there!

    What gears are you running?

      3.73 at the time, 4.56 now

      @@BackyardBMX73 I just bought a t56 for my 2013 Coyote. I’m trying to decide if I want to keep then3.73s in or go to 410s. It’s a daily NA car

    • @BackyardBMX73
      @BackyardBMX73  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shaunkemp3034 which 1st gear did you get? Mine is 2.97 and was still way too long for me for drag racing. If 2.97 then no more than 4.10 for the street. If 2.66 1st, then 4.56 wouldn't be bad imo. Really just depends on what your main goal is. Check out Tremecs rpm calculator. You can plug the trans gearing, tire height and rpm into it and see what each gear can hold mph wise.

      @@shaunkemp3034 gotcha. 4.56 may be a bit much for the street, but 4.10 would be perfect imo. For drag racing though, I absolutely love my 4.56's!

      Coyote Ugly was my first auto. Every other car I've drag raced has been manual. But those cars had simple mechanical line locks. This electronically controlled stuff is wild.
