This why the PROS start these nitro engines on methanol and after a few seconds they start the nitro pumps and it’s an audible sound difference when the change is made. Nitro is hard to get going on its own even with two magnetos that you can literally weld with. That’s why he’s pouring so much alcohol into the injectors with that bottle and it was barely enough to do the job. It’s lot easier using a methanol pumps first then once is running turn on those mega GPH nitro pumps, I’ve never seen it done this way before. But once it’s running there is not another piston driven engine that can match it in any category, I can’t even imagine how loud they are in N.C. at the 4 wide nationals, that has GOT to show up on earthquake meters somewhere.

Miss the days when all the teams blipped the throttle & chuckled at the people or expecting it. !
i remember as a kidmy dad would start his 440 challenger open headers and 6 yr old me would run and just watch cars as they start up..if this was in my neighborhood id be the first to wake up and just watch and enjoy the car in idle
This is the only noise I'd love to wake up to early in the morning while sipping on my fresh Columbian brewed coffee munch'n down on pumpkin empanadas.
Love that’s it’s just in a neighborhood. Gotta have good neighbors
"Good lord, the new neighbors bought one helluva weed trimmer Bob!"
Imagine taking your groceries inside and they smack that throttle. it’s gets me every time I’m not prepared 😂
Love the Hyundai Ioniq rolling by right after startup
Good morning neighbor! Dang that must be a welcome sound to the whole town
Frickin 10,000 hp start up on the front porch.....laughed my ass off throughout the entire video. I would be waiting for this dude to come home everyday wanting to fire up the T/F!!!
I like the flames paint job on the Top Fuel Dragster 🔥
