My daughter spent three weeks in the NICU in 2005 and we stayed at a RMH the whole time. Not having to worry about meals and having them provided by volunteers like you was amazing. Just having one less thing to worry about during such a stressful time is priceless. Thank you so much for doing this!
1. What a blessing for some folks 2. Glad everyone is ok after the tree incident 3. I notice there’s 2 things the Bird can’t pass: Literally any other vehicle, and a gas station. 😆
Lol. Too funny. The bird gas tank is 260 gal. We get 8 mpg, but can only really use half the tank. Decent range really, but we've determined it's exactly twice as expensive as the F250. And you're right, I don't recall passing anyone!
@@KeepYourDaydream you could look into putting a turbo or two on the bird, if they will fit in the engine compartment. Should improve the speed, at least.
One of my grandkids was born 3 months premature. She spent a month or two in the hospital, and my daughter and son-in-law spent weeks in a Ronald McDonald House. I will be forever grateful to them for giving my family that which I could not at the time. There is a good chance that I will be providing something for RMH in my will. There won't be much, but I want to help out as much as I can.
I'm wishing episodes like this on a monthly basis. I hope you guys can consider the possibility of doing it at least from time to time. Really. What a joy to watch.
My son had the same thing happen to him! It was a bigger tree and crushed the engine, shattered all the windows and decimated the dashboard. He just had small cuts and bruises.. I am so glad Caleb was not hurt. That is a tough Mom moment.
I get my US fix when I watch your videos. Currently stationed in Bahrain with the Navy. I’ll be here a few more years. One of my greatest joys is traveling the US especially Michigan. Thank you for doing what you do!
So happy to hear Caleb, and yiur friend's son weren't hurt in the tree accident. Love the Ronald McDonld House, and how they really are there for the families. Thank you for making an awesome meal for the 30 people staying at the house.
I am so so glad that nothing bad happened to our boy Caleb!!! I have big love in my heart for that kid ❤️ I’ll be giving that glory to The Lord tonight in my prayers
So THANKFUL Caleb is ok. My daughter and I had an AMAZING opportunity to volunteer at our local Ronald McDonald house in Cincinnati OH 2 weeks ago. Truly made our hearts smile🥰
As a parent of an only son, the clip of Trish holding Caleb's face in her hands instantly brought me to tears. Thankfully, all were unharmed but such an incident certainly puts things in perspective! I love each and every one of your videos. I can't wait to see where your new adventures will take you!
I wanted to say thank you KYD for all you do for the RMH. Anyone other than me wave back at Trisha when she went passed Marc in the background while he knelt to explain the jack? Caleb, I'm so glad you & your friend didn't get hurt. It was so nice to see everyone together. Enjoyed your video, & am looking forward to next Sunday. CHARLIE got his duck laid down like he was playing dead. He wasn't moving. Wasn't the least bit thrilled. I love Charlie! Have a nice week.
I used to donate to them and in doing so, I made up a complete spread sheet on what stores or Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Sam's Club had. With all the pricing etc. Seeing a friend of mine from high school with two kids having cancer really made me think. They gave up their jobs, sold just about everything. Your heart just sinks. I can't imagine what the families go through.
I recently took delivery of Tricia’s cookbook and a variety pack of her spice blends. I can’t say enough good things about both. The cookbook is absolutely beautiful and the recipes are incredible. I know I will use it for years to come. The spice blends are awesome-truly some of the best I have ever used! Sweet Heat, Go to Garlic Salt, Lemon Herb and Pecan Coffee are all my faves. They are creatively blended and made with the best of ingredients. Well done, Tricia and Co.! If you haven’t ordered yet, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed!

Marc- you and Carson should sit down and make checklists for the both the Bird and the Airstream. We use them all the time in Aviation to prevent mistakes. They’re standard protocol and purpose built for each Aircraft. You guys could do the same thing for your rigs. Preflight Check, Engine Start Procedures, Pre Taxi, Taxi, Before Takeoff/Runup, Take Off, etc are all Checklists that we run in the cockpit for every flight. You guys could just adapt an Aviation Checklist for use in the RV’s. Use of Checklists prevent mistakes and that in turn prevents accidents. They keep things easy and organized. Hi KYD, thankyou so much for catching us up to your Cooper and Airstream reunion. So very happy the boys were unscathed. It looked like the tree you showed was rotted out at the base. I saw a Corvette that had a tree encounter of the worst kind and yes, it crumbled, but the driver was ok. Another was that a friend of mine went to pick his daughter up from game night (she was in band with my son), and on his return trip home (awful rainy night) a massive oak tree had fallen across the road and he plowed into/over it with his new Super Duty. They, and his truck were ok, but it is very dark at night here in the Piney woods, and it wasn't there 15 minutes earlier. Nuts.

Thankful boys are ok...and how they still helped move the tree off the road 🤗. thank you for sharing episodes like this. many blessing 🌸 love the new refrigerator on platinum Ginger!
Yes, omg! the tree falling just randomly is like driving past a semi truck with huge cylinders or tree trunks chained as I'm praying to get by it fast!!!🥴😳
Very good video this week. The boys were very lucky that they did not get hurt when the tree fell on the Jeep. That seems like way more than a couple of thousand dollars. Who cares how much it cost as long as the boys did not get hurt. Oh and boy is Charlie having fun. Another great Sunday night with the KYD family..
As a parent who has stayed at Ronald McDonald houses a few times thank you. Sometimes you don’t have much left holding you together, and things like a comfortable place to stay and not having to think about what to do for food makes all the difference.
Glad your son Caleb and your friends son are both ok from the that tree that fell. Glad you got the shrimp stream back from being fixed. And thank you for cooking for the Ronald McDonald House. This was one of my favorite content videos. Love it.
So thankful Caleb and all wasn't hurt. We enjoyed your video and it's so awesome cooking dinner for folks at McDonald house.
One of the best guys. Thanks for sharing!
Love this video!!! Need more of these random videos ❤️ The Ronald McDonald house was icing on the cake. ❤️
And so glad the boys are OK! That could’ve been way worse
Yes, omg! the tree falling just randomly is like driving past a semi truck with huge cylinders or tree trunks chained as I'm praying to get by it fast!!!🥴😳
Gosh so scary! SO glad everyone is safe! This will be a story Caleb will tell for years.
Absolutely loved this random video. You guys are just awesome.
Great episode. Glad that Caleb wasn’t injured. Loved the episode!! XOXO
Whoa! So grateful all the boys are okay.🤗🤗🤗 Ronald McDonald House dinners and/or snacks. What a great idea. Thanks guys!
I’m glad Tricias cookbook came out. I’m going to buy one. Hope you all have a great day and week and see you soon!
Love Sundays--you make it special! Loved this episode and the Ronald McDonald House work you did...marvelous!
The best part of Sunday, KYD Time🤟
