These exercises helped me so much through my first two pregnancies with gestational diabetes. I've probably never been as fit as during those months and ended up having both positive pregnancy as well as positive birth experiences. So thankful to you, Amy, and your videos. 🙏
This workout is perfect for me. I'm in my 3rd trimester and dealing with a lot of pelvic pain. But I'm still able to this workout which is so nice since I can't do long (or even short) walks. It has really affected my mood not being able to walk, but I feel energized once again by this workout.
Thank u so much during my pregnancy I’m getting a bit over wight and I needed simple things to do and make me feel better, you talking with us helped me workout even better thank you ❤
I'm 5 months, and it just amazes me how when I start doing this workout I think that it is way too easy, then half way into it, I'm like " Gosh, this is hard" I don't think I realized how much energy growing a baby takes, up until I started working out :-) I would fly through this one before I was pregnant.
I used to do this workout among a lot of your other prenatal workouts with my first pregnancy and now I'm 21 weeks with my 2nd....this really helped me this morning....got a bit of a sweat on and feel more energized....thanks Amy 💜
36 weeks and this is just what I needed to feel better about eating wayyyyy too much! Shoney’s buffet for breakfast and sloppy joe’s for dinner! You have the best prenatal workouts! Thank you Amy! Day or night you’re here :)
23 weeks, done a few of your videos between gym visits. Can't go to the gym now due to a lousy vehicle... was starting to get stir crazy. Came back to your stuff and this was perfect! Can do some weights after this too! Thank you for these! You have no idea!!!
I LOVE ALL YOUR PRENATAL VIDEOS!!!!! So glad you just introduced the bodyweight and kettle ball one recently. I do these several times a week. I'm 16 weeks pregnant so I'll be watching them for months to come. Thanks so much Amy!
Love these prenatal workouts so much, they are the perfect balance of still moving + low impact exercise. You're getting me through the last month of my pregnancy at home... thank you!
I'm almost 16 weeks pregnant and started out obese but I decided to not make the same lazy mistake I took when pregnant with my 1st. I'm more fit during this pregnancy that I have ever been in my life. I haven't lost a dramatic amount of weight, only 10lbs but I am eating smart with 2000 calorie count a day and even though I may still tip the scales my body is firm and I feel great. I absolutely love your videos and modifications. Sadly the I'm unable to do the pilates because I have severe carpal tunnel so the hands and knees position is impossible for me. This video is perfect and I love the kickboxing video as well. Thank you for everything you do!
Thanks so much! I've been exercising consistently for years and was getting frustrated with myself for getting so out of breath so quickly and I'm only about 7 weeks pregnant. I'm determined to keep it up and stay active. Watching another pregnant woman working out is really helping me stay motivated at the correct pace. Looking forward to trying more of you workouts!
I’m 13 weeks have been working out with your videos now for four weeks now. You’re workouts make me feel healthy and great. This is my second child my first one I did not work out and I just felt yucky all the time. Now with your videos I feel healthy and balanced. Can’t wait to try your post natal work out videos. 💕
I am 33 weeks pregnant and am glad I found your prenatal workout videos. But I have stayed very active throughout my pregnancy and found this workout VERY EASY as a result. I started with a 15 minute warm up on the elliptical and chose to go with the highest impact option or to add 5lb dumbbells to the intervals in this workout to make it more challenging.
+Christine Loncaric Good for you! And congrats! It's great that you've been able to stay so active and found this easy! I was also very active during pregnancy but found things were harder than normal, and some days I just had less energy. My hope with my Prenatal workouts is that they can appeal to everyone at any fitness level, or any stage in their pregnancy. Good idea adding the dumbbells! For a more intense workout, you might also check out some of my other videos (non prenatal) and just modify for pregnancy. And thanks for letting me know---in the future maybe I'll add an advanced Prenatal workout!
Amy, I'm looking for advanced Prenatal workouts but there is nothing like this to find. It would be great, if you offer them. However, I often do your normal workouts with longer pauses and some modifications (first trimester). Apart from that, is it OK to do abs exercises on my back in the first trimester? See that it is not good in the second trimester. Thank you in advance and I really enjoy your workouts! :)
Amy, thanks so much for all of your prenatal workouts! I love them the most out of every prenatal program I've tried. Great total body workouts that still feel challenging but safe for baby. I hope you and your little one are doing great!
I'm 34 weeks pregnant & I feel like a whale lol. This video has helped me feel great & become active, I haven't been very active during my pregnancy & talked to my doctor & he said it's fine if I start now just not to over do it. This is a great workout! Thank you!!!
Absolutely love this workout! Was doing HIIT workouts when I found out I was pregnant and stopped. Am 16 weeks now and this was the PERFECT way to get back into exercising. Every single exercise was doable and didn't feel challenging but definitely got my heart rate up and gave me a great workout! Thank you!
Amy, your babyfit videos are AMAZING! I'm 7 months pregnant and have been doing these videos throughout my entire pregnancy! You lead so well, give great information, and keep the pace PERFECT for a pregnant person!
Today was my first real workout in 1 1/2 years. I am 12 weeks and loved the length and intensity of this work out. I also have ulcerative colitis so I am hoping getting back into some fitness this will help with my flares. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the workout Amy. I definitely felt better after following your workout than just sit in my chair and worry about the baby all day! Love all your workouts, you're a great instructor!
I'm 36 weeks and have been using your workouts between gym workouts and I love them! I plan on using your post partum work outs as well! Thank heaven for your prenatal work outs. Its just enough to feel like I'm staying in "somewhat" good shape.
Hi! I seriously never post comments on TH-cam, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your pregnancy workout videos. They are awesome, I just started doing them 3 weeks ago, and I love feeling like I can get a good workout while being careful. The emphasis you put on being healthy during rather than looking a certain way is super encouraging. I will definitely be coming back to your channel for all your other videos post-pregnancy!
26 weeks along and with gestational diabetes. Thank you for a great workout during this coronavirus lockdown. Building up my insulin sensitivity and helping to improve my blood sugars! Perfect intensity - and I appreciate that you pointed out not going above the 140 bpm heart rate during exercise; I wasn't sure what the recommended intensity was for pregnancy, so this was super helpful!
I've been doing this workout and the kickboxing one alternating for the last week and I feel great! I'm currently just over 7 months prego and I definitely feel I have more energy! I work 10 hours per day, 4 days a week in my feet and working out on my days off has been very beneficial to me. Thanks for the great videos!
Winter time is just too cold and too dangerous for my daily walks, and my "at home programs" aren't suited for during pregnancy . So I greatly appreciate these prenatal videos.
Thanks for making this video! I'm 15 weeks pregnancy and absolutely loved it! It's the first workout I've done since I found out I was pregnant. Looking forward to trying out your prenatal workout videos!
Hi Amy! I can't thank you enough for these awesome workout tutorials! I am 20 weeks pregnant and started following your Prenatal Workouts Playlist about 3 weeks ago. Over the last week I have added in your (non-prenatal) Dumbbell Workouts Playlist and holy cow...I already notice a huge change in upper and lower body! Every day I wake up excited to watch your videos and never would have thought I could have found such an effective, free, and inspiring at-home workout option. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
I’m still in my first trimester, but found your prenatal workout videos early on. Very thankful for them! Thank you for allowing us pregos to continue our workout routines together! ♥️💪🏽 #strongisbeautiful
Awesome workout! I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and this video is at the perfect pace for me. The workout got my heartrate up without feeling exhausted, drained or dizzy at the end. Thank you for posting!
That was so good! I'm in my first trimester and not a regularly active person and that's exactly what I needed. It got my heart rate up and I felt confident with finishing it that I can continue to do this. Thank you for blessing me and my baby with a healthy workout.
I am 37 weeks and found this workout a little bit easy as i've stayed active throughout pregnancy. I would definitely recommed adding a couple of 3lb weights into it just to make it that bit more challenging :) other than that great workouts, thanks a lot!
I love this workout! I worked 5 days a week pre pregnancy and I was getting frustrated because I was getting out of breath so fast! Now I'm 10 weeks along and just recently switched over to prenatal workouts. This is by far my favorite.
Great workout. Did it when I was 6 weeks pregnant and thought 'This isn't that hard, even pregnant'. Then I forgot about it and found it again today. I'm 27 weeks pregnant now and had to pause for a minute once, because it was really challenging:D great, great workout. Will definetly do it again. Thank you for this video.
I love these workouts Amy, thank you! They are all challenging without feeling 'wrong' or potentially dangerous in pregnancy, like some prenatal workouts sometimes can. Lovely seeing you have fun with your friend in this one too!
I'm almost 14 weeks and am just feeling good enough to get a decent workout. I tried this today and loved it! I plan on checking out your other prenatal workouts as well 😊
Everytime I do this workout I feel so good afterwards. thank you so much for this. i do few different workout from youtube for my pregnancy and I have to say this one is like the perfect intensity level. some are too easy and way too crazy for pregnancy. Im 32 years old and 19 weeks pregnant.
I lovee your exercises...since I haven't been exercising for the first 14 weeks (I'm 15 weeks pregnant now), this is great for me because it's easy to follow and I don't feel overwhelmed. and even my two year old does it with me :) :)
Love this workout! Second trimester right now and this is perfect for getting in a short workout without getting my blood pressure too high. I will continue to use this till the end of my pregnancy plus some fast walking I do on other days! I also love how you make it for every stage of pregnancy :)
I'm at 23 weeks now and just feeling well enough to bring cardio back into my life...This viedo was great! Thank you so much Amy! I'll definitely be trying your other videos!!
I've just found the energy to start working out again (at 15 weeks) and find this just right. I've tried other pre-natal workout videos, but the instructors can be really patronising or I finish it feeling I haven't done anything! I was fairly fit pre-pregnancy, but like others have said, it's surprising how this relatively light workout feels like a challenge when pregnant!
Gracie M I felt the same way! I was a previous insanity video person and need that same high I got from those workouts! Unfortunately morning/all day sickness really leveled me for.....(still waiting). Hoping to make some videos that are more challenging but still doable!
Oh dear, I hope you get over your sickness soon! I was lucky and missed out on that, but was so tired during my 1st trimester I couldn't even think about exercising! I've only been to one insanity workout - it was too much for me, haha! - but I got into aerial before my pregnancy so am used to challenging and pushing my body. I'm still enjoying doing Amy's workouts now at 23 weeks :-)
Gracie M Are you having a boy or a girl? We are at 19 weeks and just found out today we are having a boy! It’s everything I can do to just make it through making these workouts so I can definitely understand. Which of Amy’s are your favorite workouts?
WellnessDuo congrats! We decided not to find out - thought a surprise would be more exciting! I like the strength, bodyweight, and cardio workouts the best. Have tried the ab workout but found it didn't quite seen enough, yet I'm hesitant to to too much about stuff! How about you? Keep at it, hopefully you'll manage to pick up a bit more energy! I was waiting a while for the famous 2nd trimester 'burst of energy', which I'm not sure has really appeared...
Gracie M I hear you about that surge of energy! I’m waiting to feel it too! I fear I’ll be one of those sick all pregnancy people but I’m still trying to do what I can! Great to find a similar expecting athlete 😉
Hello from the future. I know these are old but it would help if a listing of equipment needed was listed or mentioned in your videos. Thanks for the workouts. Love the boxing stuff!
Amy! Thank you so much for this workout! I'm 31 weeks pregnant and have been on the lookout for pregnancy-safe cardio. This was fantastic and I can't wait to try your other videos as well!
Thanks for this workout! After not doing much besides chase my one-year-old around for the first 19 weeks, I'm working out a little every day again. This was very enjoyable, easy to follow, and I feel great! Can't wait to try the Pilates workout next!
+feliciahope I'm so glad! And chasing your one year old around sounds like quite the workout to me! Congratulations on your pregnancy and keep up the good work!
I just turned 14weeks and the first weeks have been rough. This is my 3rd pregnancy but this gal needs to stay in somewhat of shape. Thanks for this video.
Thank you so much for these workouts! I found your other videos after taking a bootcamp class last winter, and was stoked to discover the stash of pre- and postnatal workouts.
I have been working out for the past 2 years and in a pretty good "workout shape". However, I'm 20 weeks along now and this and the strength workouts kicked my butt. thanks
I haven't been active ever since I was announced pregnant and I'm also 5 months. This is my first child and I never been so exhausted. This and African dancing made me gain and loose the unnecessary that I had before the pregnancy. THANK YOU FOR THIS. I had to take a break from African dancing to intense
Warm up- side steps + shoulder rolls side steps + side reach side steps + overhead side reach back roll shoulder roll Workout- (x2) side step + bicep pump butt kicks + rows squat + reach side step + arm flap skaters backward lunge half jacks plie squat Cool Down/Stretch- side step + shoulder rolls reach side stretch cat+cow hamstring + calf stretch
Thank you for a great workout. I have always worked out a lot, and kept going with my regular workouts for the first trimester. Now at 15 weeks, I am cautious about doing too much or doing the wrong thing. Your workout still made me sweat, but I felt completely safe doing it. Will be trying some of your other workouts soon :)
Omg I'm glad I found your channel. I just did this workout and it's great. I love this for when it's raining, like it's been this week, and I can't go out and exercise. I will continue to work out to this and definitely check out your other videos.
32 weeks, and this was perfect! Pre-pregnancy, this would have been a breeze, but whooo, I got a good and pleasant sweat going on. Feeling good! Thanks for this!!!
Love love LOVE these workouts! Unfortunately, I have a bad knee that makes it really difficult to do the squats. I try, but if it feels like too much I just try to stay moving during the set. Any squat alternatives that you recommend?
Amazing workout, thank you so much. Can I ask if you have any that have little dumbbells you can use while you're pregnant? Or is it safe to do a few of these exercises with dumbbells at all? They're only little ones (1.5kg). Thank you again. Such a great full body workout and I feel amazing after it. Great to get the heartrate up and have options for the level I want to work at.
I am 32 weeks pregnant and this workout was VERY low intensity for me. I added in weights to some of the moves to kick up the intensity. I enjoyed it but def is a very easy workout
HI Allison! If you're looking for higher intensity, check out my other cardio videos---Cardio Blast, Cardio HIIT, Amy's Insanity, Cardio Tabata. Just modify for pregnancy :)
These exercises helped me so much through my first two pregnancies with gestational diabetes. I've probably never been as fit as during those months and ended up having both positive pregnancy as well as positive birth experiences. So thankful to you, Amy, and your videos. 🙏

I've tried other pregnancy workouts on youtube, but Amy is the best for sure. These videos are the only thing keeping me active during pregnancy. LOVE

Great easy workout!
I loved this !!!!!! I was in the 'way worse' category of all-day sickness. I am so grateful it is tapering off so I can follow you :)
33 weeks today...thanks for the workout!
However, I'm 20 weeks along now and this and the strength workouts kicked my butt. thanks
God bless you and your baby!!! Thank you for the video! Loved the modifications and various tips for pregnancy:)
muchas gracias amy, tengo 23 semanas de embarazo y habia visto diferentes videos para embarazadas, pero este me encanto !!!!
I haven't been active ever since I was announced pregnant and I'm also 5 months. This is my first child and I never been so exhausted. This and African dancing made me gain and loose the unnecessary that I had before the pregnancy. THANK YOU FOR THIS. I had to take a break from African dancing to intense
OverRated TV if you don't mind me asking which African dancing videos did you do. I would love to check them out.

very nice workout, good instructions
Thank you for a great workout. I have always worked out a lot, and kept going with my regular workouts for the first trimester. Now at 15 weeks, I am cautious about doing too much or doing the wrong thing. Your workout still made me sweat, but I felt completely safe doing it. Will be trying some of your other workouts soon :)
I'm 18 weeks and I found this workout really good! I've missed a little the counter down clock in this video
Finally a prenatal video that got me sweating and I didn't do any of the jumping. Thank you!
Omg I'm glad I found your channel. I just did this workout and it's great. I love this for when it's raining, like it's been this week, and I can't go out and exercise. I will continue to work out to this and definitely check out your other videos.
Thanks for this video. i can continue my workout. I'm on my 9weeks of pregnancy and I can still stay fit. So excited to try this. Thanks 😆
Awesome video! I will definitely be trying out your others- thank you!! :)
kicked my butt at 28 weeks. thank you!
32 weeks, and this was perfect! Pre-pregnancy, this would have been a breeze, but whooo, I got a good and pleasant sweat going on. Feeling good! Thanks for this!!!
This is a great workout, thank you!
hi this workout is brilliant. Thank you
Girl! I am 19 weeks and you just kicked my butt 😀thank you for this!!! 👟💪🏼👍🏻🙌🏼
Thank you loved this one too! All brilliant
Love love LOVE these workouts! Unfortunately, I have a bad knee that makes it really difficult to do the squats. I try, but if it feels like too much I just try to stay moving during the set. Any squat alternatives that you recommend?
how many times do we do this a day?..do you have a schedule like rest days?
Amazing workout, thank you so much. Can I ask if you have any that have little dumbbells you can use while you're pregnant? Or is it safe to do a few of these exercises with dumbbells at all? They're only little ones (1.5kg).
Thank you again. Such a great full body workout and I feel amazing after it. Great to get the heartrate up and have options for the level I want to work at.
Love this!! Thank you.
I am 32 weeks pregnant and this workout was VERY low intensity for me. I added in weights to some of the moves to kick up the intensity. I enjoyed it but def is a very easy workout
i loved it
Could you do a more high intensity cardio workout?
HI Allison! If you're looking for higher intensity, check out my other cardio videos---Cardio Blast, Cardio HIIT, Amy's Insanity, Cardio Tabata. Just modify for pregnancy :)
Well 22 weeks and I’m just now getting the hang of this
Love this class and trainer! I feel so good to start my day :)!
What about a post-birth program? My sister just had a baby, been looking for something she can do (it was rough).
