The Rangerette history is fascinating. What's the most surprising part to you?

I have a friend/coworker who is a former rangerette. I was looking at her old pics on her Facebook page yesterday and then today I watch this... So Cool!!!

Awesome, my Papaw used to show me them when they were on TV in the 60's and 70's, then my daughter became a member. Love this channel!!!

Technically, the high school drill team “Flaming Flashes” was the first drill team Miss Davis formed in 1928. I was a member of this drill team several years ago, and that is how we were always introduced as we entered the field. The Rangerettes came as a result, and are a far more famous and well-known drill team. So, I can see how they would get the credit for being first.
