I ordered the Hatsan NeutronStar 25 cal yesterday. With the new Air Venturi Nomad 2. A scope and all the accessories. Also paid PYRAMYDAIR the extra $20 to mount and zero the scope at 10 yards.! 😎😎👌💯Sweet deal. Can't beat the price or the quality from PYRAMYDAIR.
Great review man. I changed the aluminum bottle to CF and my valve is modified so my 25 cal Nova is set to shoot the 34 gr JSBs at 880 fps for 59 FPE. I also had the leed polished and the barrel crown smoothed so it's shooting lights out. I have several high end PCPs and my 22 and 25 cal Nova will hang with all of them.
Damm that Hatsan Nova 25cal , is very accurate I am impressed , I was going to purchase but it's one long rifle , I went with the ATAMAN M2R TACTICAL TYPE 1 25CAL , have you done a vidio on Ataman m2r tactical type 1, 25cal , man that hatsan is something else sweet the ACURACY blew me away wow . Awsome vidio like allways
My HATSAN BT65 25 caliber is my absolute go to rifle. I am curious about your hold over for a hundred yards. My scope is doped for 50 because that's my normal shooting distance... At 100 yards I have a two and a half Mil Dot drop using the h&n baracuda Hunter Extremes. I actually have great success using the hunter extremes in every single air gun that I own; except for my BT 65 in 35 caliber. I have to use the jsb jumbo heavies... The diameter on the h&n grizzly slugs is too large for the bore. They do okay at 50 yards.... But anything beyond that they are all over the place. There is only one grain difference in between the pellets.... And the jsb is almost 100 feet per second faster. And when that 81 grain pellet hits the target it sounds like someone smacking leather across a tabletop...... ( I use beef boxes from work stuff with old phone books and cardboard,... So I can collect the lead later to use for casting. ) The only problem I have with both bt65's.... And I wouldn't necessarily say it's a problem... But after topping off the cylinder to 200 bar.... The first two shots are wildcards. They could go anywhere. But after that the rifles settle in and become tack drivers. The Sweet Spot is between 180 bar and 160 bar. I get the most consistent chrony numbers in that zone.... And I'm talkin 2 or 3 feet per second difference. I find that amazing for unregulated gun. And I have to say I find your tactics practical...... Let the weeds grow up so high on either side of your range that helps block the wind. Lol! I'm always fighting the wind where I live. But I don't care I actually enjoy it. I love a challenge. The only time I get frustrated is when I'm trying to zero a new scope. I have rambled enough. HATSAN rifles are the best bang for your buck. I kind of get the feeling that everybody at Gamo hates HATSAN. Everytime Gamo comes out with something new HATSAN tops them.
Did you look at the target from the back of the paper so the spatter mark wouldn't mask the actual size? That 100 yard group looks to be under an inch to me.
Wooooo! Nice shooting Rick/Nova! One concern about this gun Rick...Several times you seemed to struggle with loading the magazine? Is the cocking lever plastic or steel?
You going Super Nova on us Rick? 3 shots...in a row...what? Do you have a Shooter1721 blaq charm on? Must be. Great informative vid. Shooting wasn't too bad either.😜
Thank you. I hear alot of debates over how to best clean a PCP barrel. Some say Balistol and patches. Some say just dry patches only. What is your opinion?
Three shots and three hits! Wow!
Travis P It’s the gun !
@@shooter1721 def the gun, and not the Rehmster! Lol!

What is your cleaning and prep process when you first get a new pcp out of the box? Cleaning etc.
Johnny Lightning First thing we do inspect the gun overall and then clean the barrel . And then I pretest shooting many different pellets .
Thank you. I hear alot of debates over how to best clean a PCP barrel. Some say Balistol and patches. Some say just dry patches only. What is your opinion?
Nice review as always. Humbling shooting as always.. :/ Too many guns I want, not enough money or time .. LoL
Will you test the new Novastar with the carbon fiber bottle. Reported to be a pound lighter. I have that same bipod on my Edgun Leshiy.
JOE Dokes Yes the Hatsan Nova Star .25
Accuracy and consistancy sure help...but you can only show the rifle's fullest potencial with a formidable shooter like you lol
Peter Pan Thank you !!
Hello, a query, does the Hatsan Nova Tac long come equipped with Lothar Walther barrel?
Nice job again Rick. Do you have a caliber recommendation.22, or .25....?
Clayton Hatfield Thank you ! I like the .25 very accurate and a lot of shots .
Would you consider doing a Hatsan AT44 platform review?
HATSAN Nova star an HATSAN Nova QE Is tha the same or aré they different
Good review... but what took you so long, this gun been out for more than a year... lol
James Denny Well I finally got to meet Hatsan in May of this year .
Nova vs at44, both QE. What do you think ? Thanks
You should review the Daystate Renegade if you can. This rifle has very very little to no reviews.
I will ask Daystate
shooter1721 would be perfect
Time to test "THE Hammer" : ) they are out'
HOW THIS POSIBLE AT TOP OF BALON A super small thing ????????????
