How does it compare to Hatsans BT-65 SB QE .25 cal? Considering hunting capabilities (so kinda like: which is more accurate at slightly longer distances than 45 yards? Even to 100yards and a bit beyond? :P I know both have enough power for small game, but gotta hit it where it lands the killing blow and won't leave the animal wounded).
The BT65 does produce more energy than the Nova, but I I prefer the feel of a wood stock over the synthetic. That's just personal preference though. In terms of accuracy, that's going to be somewhat individualized to the gun and barrel you get. Most of the .25 Hatsan's I've shot seem to prefer the lighter JSB kings, this Nova liked the heavy kings. Just goes to show that there is some variance between barrels, even in the same model. I know plenty of guys using both of these guns to hunt small game at distances well over 60-70 yards, so it's definitely doable.
Learned from experience: Hatsan, Gamo, any air rifle made in China are second and third tier products. I've learned to buy only German and British air rifles.
Flatness of the string is impressive. Sure does not look like turkish walnut. Looks like the everyday standard stained beach in this vid. If I were to purchace this rifle, I would put a CF bottle on it. It weighs a "Ton"!!! Odd that it shot the .25 standard JSB's so poorly, as this is the gold standard for accuracy in most every .25 AG regardless of manufacturer. KnifeMaker
UPDATE: The Hatsan Nova QE comes with 2 magazines.
pyramydair can this gun be regulated? or can you add a regulated bottle 2 it ...thats alot of shots
pyramydair is this hand pump able??
Awesome gun!
Linda demais muito boa essa nova Hatsan
This is a seriously good looking rifle.
Great review 👍
Very good review you guy's never disappoint! great company that I love to buy from.
I wish you would do this exact same review on the Hatsan Airmax. The shot count is nowhere near Pyramyd Air’s stated 95 shots per fill!
Background music is too loud. Great report, though. Better every time have to repeat them, so good.
I have the same rifle. Unfortunately, cannot increase power to 925 fps with 25.4 grain JSB which manufacturer announced. Screw bold became hard.
Thanks for informations
Would like to see Hatsan do a carbine version of the Nova. Barrel at this length really sticks our there. 😂
Nice work
