  • Shooting a couple of groups as I narrow down the pellet of choice for the Hatsan Neutron Star in 25 caliber, PCP air rifle. I'm shooting the JSB King Heavy and the H&N Hunter Extreme at 35 yards to see which if either groups the Best.

    Nice. I ordered one end of April. Hatsan Neutronstar 25 caliber. Scope, Nomad 2 From Venturi. Can't wait to get it. I'm really excited.. This is my first Pcp and I'm taking a look at a few different Brands. The NeutronStar will be the first. 😎💯👌

    Hi Kenneth, I have a neutron star in 22 caliber and I am having some difficulty with it as it relates to losing air or not being properly regulated I am still in the process of running a couple hundred pallets through it to see exactly what the problem is but all in all I like the gun and I wanted to work good for me also but, it is in 22 caliber.

    • @bluecollarsportsman613
      @bluecollarsportsman613  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Send it back for repair or exchange it if it's still in the first 30. I think the Neutron Star has a 5 yr warranty.

    Thanks for the video. Not to many NeutronStar videos out there.
    I have one in .22cal! Really like it. I also got it from MidwayUSA.
    Right now mine is shooting the 22gr FX Hybrids @ approx 940fps. I had to turn up the hammer spring slightly.

    • @bluecollarsportsman613
      @bluecollarsportsman613  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Cliff Backler Did your turn up the spring for speed or to help shoot the slugs better?

    • @cliffb.2416
      @cliffb.2416 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bluecollarsportsman613 Yes I did, not much. As You already know, Hatsan's are heavy hitters to start right out of the box. My gun originally shot the 22gr. Hybrids @ 905fps out of the box. Grouping wasn't too bad, but not great. Turned it up slightly to get to 940fps. That dialed them in for my gun. Tight groups out to 110yds. Haven't really been able to shoot further out yet, but all that being said I did notice just the other day that either the hammer spring relaxed? Or after shooting it the bolt backed out a tiny bit? My tune didn't stay/hold. Back down to 905-915ish. I played around with it for a few mins yesterday, but couldn't get back to 940. A little frustrating. Planning on spending some time on it this weekend. If I can't get it back to what I had I'll prob play around with a different slug/pellet option. Mainly got this gun because of AEAC's (Steve's) TH-cam reviews/video's showing how it liked slugs. I have other pellet designated guns, kind of wanted a slug gun that was affordable.

    Thank you for making this video, demonstrating that gun and those pellet choices. I could see in the close up that the JSB King seem to hit the target backstop harder.

    Kenneth nice video man , I did hit the like button , I like seeing regular guys like you review the guns ,because its just your honest opinion that most of us can relate 2 , keep shooting that gun a bunch ,and give us more up dates really interested in what you find out , question … how loud do you think the gun is ? … I own 5 Hatsan airguns so I am pretty familiar with them , the New Vectis I have the .25 ,and it is a lot of fun to shoot with that high speed lever action best bang for the buck there is in my opinion -for a light fast back up shot hunter …

      Hi Dan, I have two Hatsan guns, this one and the Bullboss, both in .25 cal. And I like them both, I remember when I got the Bull boss being very impressed and telling a friend how hard that gun shoots. It's actually the gun that I can credit my obsession too. I now own 16 air rifles and one pistol, I owned 2 rifles and the pistol before the Bullboss. As for how loud the gun is, it's not loud at all to me but I do own some loud guns. I don't live in a crowed area so I won't hear the echo or amplification like most people in the city would. But still I think this gun is about average and close to the Bullboss in sound. I have several guns that is louder than it is including a Benjamin Discovery in .22 cal.and the Xisico in .177 cal. to name a couple.

    hi ... i have a same PCP air gun .25 caliper please suggest me which grain pellet i used on this gun.??? and also tell me about slug???

    • @bluecollarsportsman613
      @bluecollarsportsman613  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi ejaz, as you see on the video I'm shooting the JSB King Heavy MKII 33.95 gr and the H&N Hunter Extreme 28.24 pellets. I have seen others say this gun prefers slugs but I only have H&N Grizzly slugs and this gun did so so with them. I can't say what if would do with other slugs. As for suggesting what pellets to use please take this with a grain of salt because barrels can be very different even on the same model gun. With that said, my first suggestion would be the H&N Terminators, they seem to shoot well out of any gun. Also whatever you choose it seems the one thing these guns have in common is they like heavy pellets. Now I would also suggest the JSB King Heavy MKII and the JSB Hades. Keep safe and shoot straight.

    Hello Kenneth, I understand that you have the Hatsan Bullboss in 25 cal, as well as the Hatsan Neutron Star in 25 cal. What do you think about those two guns if you compare them for: 1) Accuracy 2) Weight 3) Shot count 4) Smooth Operation 5) Silent ...etc. Which one you consider to be the best? Thanks.
