The ones that speak are better if you are arranging big pieces around in a room where you don't always have time to sit and look at a screen. Saying "left" or "right" helps with positioning tremendously.

If you're using an AirPods ripoff or using it in a non-Apple device, then that might be why your audio is flipped. Otherwise, it should be fine.
