@@Coldsilfur4 The german cover is absolutely inferior not to mention a cover is always inferior to the original and if I would be deaf I'd say the singer sings better
I viewed Lady Oscar as Kid in German TV so i prefer the German Version, the Japanase (original) sounds too soft, the French not so much revolutionary as the French Anthem (which is also a Revolution Song), the Arabic sounds nice, the Italian and Korean too awkward - if you watch the show you learn that its not a comedy anime - its about multiple problems human had to face in these times like *famine *poverty *child marriage (a 12 year old girl rather suicides than to marriage) *male/female roles - cause Oscar is a female in male positon as Captain of the Royal Guard *homosexuality and much more - there is violance, murder, hit-and-run, executing kids for stealing a.s.o Now as i am 30 years old i see all these multiple facettes of the Anime

The Japanese version make me cry everytime. So sad and so poetic. Lovely voice. Italian is pretty because remember me a rococò version with that rhythm 😂❤️
the original version is a japanese manga story in 1973.. the comic writer is riyoko ikeda.. this story takes place at the beginning of the 18th century the french revolution
Well the arabic opening is my favorite but seriously it sounds so old even older than the whole show xD that's of course cuz of the singer's voice after all
Italian and German.
all other than arabic or japanese are either too upbeat for the story or lame. The german or italian are beautiful sung but they don't go with the main theme of the story
i love the japanese version very much and the german, too because that is how i saw LO when i was a child...so who cares if it is a copy or not...it's about emotions, so don't be so petty
How do you know that? Only because you know the Italian Version first? I don´t know which one was created first, but its not uncommon for Germany to translate Introsongs as well if possible instead of make own Songs. So they proberly bought the Rights for that cause its soundend a lot more modern. When most of the Shows aired in the early 90´s for the first Time in Germany the Intro Songs of varoius TV Shows where pretty popular. I rememeber all Kids where singing the Intro Song of Mila Superstar (Atakku No 1) and Lady Oscar. However for me as i grown up with the German Version it is my Favorite.
Just a Nobody Just a Nobody Germany bought the Rights from Italy, because Alessandra Valeri Maneri wrote it! So, the german opening is ""copied"" from the italian one
Arabic is the best one then comes the Japanese and German (can't choose between both, but I guess I'll go with the German since its different). I truly loved the three of them, they had so many emotions

French opening :
Lady, Lady Oscar
Elle est habillée comme un garçon
Lady, Lady Oscar
Lady, Lady Oscar
Tu vivais sous la Révolution
Lady, Lady Oscar
Personne n'oubliera jamais ton nom
Lady, Lady Oscar
Tu vivais sous la Révolution
Lady, Lady Oscar
Personne n'oubliera jamais ton nom
Elle maniait si bien son épée
Qu'on n'osait la défier
Et quand on lui chercher querelle
Elle se battait en duel
Un beau jour elle choisit son camp
Et chassa les tyrans !
The Japanese and Arabic are my favorites! ( I speak Arabic)
I grew up watching this anime, it was dubbed in my native language and the opening was left untouched.Turned out the Italian version of this op is the one they used.
of course 😊❤
The Arabic version and the Japaneses are the most beautiful and emotional one
0:01performance It is wonderful & masterpiece, deep sadness and a lot of memories
1:31 Cheerful & cute I would’have been shocked if I watched the show in French at the end of the series
3:15 It's my language & I like it I feel nostalgic, its melody is the same as Japanese, I’have reservations about the lyrics & the quality of the techniques
4:39 Beautiful & the sound is great you feel noble
6:10 Beautiful performance, beautiful & very cheerful, & the Italian language is good to hear
7:20 Beautiful & cute, it has a touch of sadness from the story
French and arabic are my favourites. My mother watched lady Oscar in both languages.
Excellent travail et très bonne traduction ❤
I grew up with the German version and it'll always remain my favourite, but I've come to love the original Japanese version, too. Most others are too cheery for my tastes (well, of those few I've heard so far)...
The Arabic one is fantastic
You mean Japanese.
Hiroko Suzuki,wonderful!!!❤
Original (Japanese) always win
france /happy song ?? x
German /combat theme?? x
italy/ candy candy ?? x
korean/ family drama??xxx

Love the Arabic version so sad . Reveals the story . The Japanese is the same theme but the singer in the Arabic one her voice was better it seemed like she was sad about the story
+1 for arabic version
I really love the German and Italian versions :)
The German one is the exact copy of the second latest Italian opening.
@@hazhoner5727 and? better singer, better text
@@Coldsilfur4 ..and it's completely copied. LOL in your dreams
@@hazhoner5727 A cover and better than the original .. and if you know anything about singing you can hear how much better the german singer can sing.
@@Coldsilfur4 The german cover is absolutely inferior not to mention a cover is always inferior to the original and if I would be deaf I'd say the singer sings better
I viewed Lady Oscar as Kid in German TV so i prefer the German Version, the Japanase (original) sounds too soft, the French not so much revolutionary as the French Anthem (which is also a Revolution Song), the Arabic sounds nice, the Italian and Korean too awkward - if you watch the show you learn that its not a comedy anime - its about multiple problems human had to face in these times like
*famine
*poverty
*child marriage (a 12 year old girl rather suicides than to marriage)
*male/female roles - cause Oscar is a female in male positon as Captain of the Royal Guard
*homosexuality
and much more - there is violance, murder, hit-and-run, executing kids for stealing a.s.o
Now as i am 30 years old i see all these multiple facettes of the Anime
Translation of the German Intro:
Wild rose, proud and free,
only ever true to herself,
Lady Oscar, Lady Oscar.
She can fight like a man,
she can fence and ride horses,
she makes miracles happen,
she can brave dangers,
and still always remains a woman.
Lady Oscar, always waiting for a new adventure,
she wants to take chances.
Lady Oscar,
all alone she walks through darkness and fire,
without hesitating.
Lady Oscar,
she always desires truth and justice,
Lady Oscar,
she would give her life for the weak and poor.
Lady Oscar, Lady Oscar,
with the wind of liberty in her flowing hair,
Lady Oscar, Lady Oscar,
like an angel freeing the world from fear and hatred,
ready for any fight,
and yet she is always ladylike.
Original japanese version is amazing and beautiful!! Why change it??
I agree.
i always prefer japanese versions of songs/dubs but omg the arabic rlly blew me away. having my love for both arabic and japanese music combined like this is amazing.
The Japanese version make me cry everytime. So sad and so poetic. Lovely voice.
Italian is pretty because remember me a rococò version with that rhythm
😂❤️
Arabic and Japanese openings are the best. The worst is definetly the French one
I'mma trow hands with you.
Arabic version ❤️
Japanese version, arabic version and korean version are the best.
the original version is a japanese manga story in 1973.. the comic writer is riyoko ikeda.. this story takes place at the beginning of the 18th century the french revolution
The Germans bought the rights of the Italian song, remember!
who cares, the german one is better!
@@gaunterodim6071 Since is a copy I would not say it's german
THE ARABIC ONE IT IS SO GREAT
Well the arabic opening is my favorite but seriously it sounds so old even older than the whole show xD that's of course cuz of the singer's voice after all
cuz the story is 18th century
The Arabic sounds horrible
it doesn’t have anything to do with the singers voice its the technology we had back in the 1980s
@@jeanne8784
I know our technology wasn’t as good back then
But she still has her Classic voice
japanese: best
arabic: the best
french : OMG
French are really manly xD
French Hahaha
Korean is something else :) nicee.. loved how nations localize it
Linda canción 🎶 y triste. Me encanta buena serie
the Italian one is the best
Yes The Italian version is the best :)
Italian is so horrible and ugly to be sung to Oscar
I don't think so. Italian one doesn't fit the story at all -I'm italian, hehe.
Sol Invictus yup
Ci credo,Viva l'Italia
Italian and German.
Quella araba sì, è veramente terribile come versione.
all other than arabic or japanese are either too upbeat for the story or lame. The german or italian are beautiful sung but they don't go with the main theme of the story
i love the japanese version very much and the german, too because that is how i saw LO when i was a child...so who cares if it is a copy or not...it's about emotions, so don't be so petty

2. Japanese

3. Korean

German and Italy version the best :-)
I love both😍😍😍😍
+sheila akrasi völlig ekelhaft auf Deutsch, excuse me
+Mara Blade the german one is copied from the second italian opening :/
The german version is copied from the Italian songwriter and composer Alessandra Valeri Manera, I remember they got sued for plagued this song.
German song is copied by second italian opening, write by Alessandra Valeri Manera
But it's much better in german.
Marcel Hofmann This isn't true, serch "una spada per lady oscar" and listen to it, in italian is much more better.
but the german is copied :S
1.japanese 2.german 3.italian 4.korean 5.arabic 6.freanch
Arabic is the best one then comes the Japanese and German (can't choose between both, but I guess I'll go with the German since its different). I truly loved the three of them, they had so many emotions
The german one is copies, the original is the secon Italian opening "una spada per kady oscar",the german they were even accused of plague
This is super late but here you go :)

Japanese / arabic: dramatic song
French Version : Sound like Military march
Italian : nursery rhyme
Korean : 70s K-drama song
German : 99 Luftbaloon !

awesome themes, especially the arabic version, but luckily for us in latinoamerica we got the original japanese intro and ending.
