According to this VHS capture that was uploaded to TH-cam, a Danish dub of the anime exists: th-cam.com/video/M-D8_-defeA/w-d-xo.html I haven't found footage of that dub, but there DOES exist footage of the Danish dub of Candy Candy floating around on TH-cam, even if it's just clips. Also really glad you used the 80s Italian dub one instead of the more boring late 90s one from Cristina D'Avena. Absolute classic!

It is weird that the swedish version of the series which I watched all the time has the japanese intro and the japanese texts in the intro, so i never understood a single second of the intro
Nothing wrong with it... however even if my native language is not English nor French it's just more melodious and sounds much better for my years and it's interpreted very well by the singer and very well recorded that's plain obvious. But I guess having my own opinion is not good idea... Also Japanese is well fitted for the cartoon it makes me laugh as this is a cartoon with lots of joyful moments.
