Thank you so much for your help!! My disability is temporary, but life is so hard with the use of only one hand for six months. People like you renew my faith in humanity. Thank you again!!!
Great design for one handed people but one design change is that u could attach the spikes to a smaller piece of wood and have a hole cut into the main cutting board the same size as the piece with the spikes attached to and simply insert the spike piece in the hole on the main board so that the spikes could be easily removed after use so that they could be clean and storage in a location so that injuries could limited and also another piece of wood could be cut to be placed in the hole in the main board to fill in the hole when the spikes are not needd so that the person could use the whole surface area of the main board whenever the spikes are not needed. Being a person with the use of only one hand I also have a adapted cutting board kinda of the same design but with the spikes being able to be flipped down under the mail board so that the spikes are safety out of the way when I need to use the full use of the cutting board surface.other then that small design change it is a great design.
well done final project. you must get 100% grade for this project

You can cover the spikes with a small block of foam/4 disposable ear plugs. Lovely invention.
