    This is Nardo Ash Grey from @paradoxwraps if you want this color go to the link below to order it directly from the website.

    Use this concept to measure it out very carefully if you have a big truck. If you are doing a large vehicle for your first time, I would recommend getting two rolls because you might mess up and it never hurts to have some extra wrap laying around just in case.

    its good for only his second time. my first time took me 4 and 1/2 days. i spent 1 day taking everything off, handles, mirrors, bed caps, lights ect. was well worth a days work and made the process 100 times easier. and for reference i needed 90 feet of material for a crew cab truck because i had fender flares to cover and both bumpers.

    Paradox! Hey dude, Ryan here out of Evansville, IN area. Hey I watch your videos weekly. I’m a vehicle wrap installer myself (one man installer) I wrap ram trucks all the time. To answer your question about the gap between bedside lines and wrap around to rear window area…so I prep clean those areas very well first off, next I’ll run the 3M knifeless tape like your buddy did, if you don’t have the extra labor time involved to remove bed side and slide it back some to get full coverage. But if you follow your eyes at the bed side lines, it cast a slightly dark shadow on the wrap around edge and that’s where I run the knifeless tape is by following the shadow lines from top to bottom. The reason I do that is because our fingers can only go so far behind there before the vinyl starts to give out and want to wrinkle with such a crazy challenging wrap around edge. If you just follow the cast shadow lines closely, it will make your job way easier if you don’t take the bed side off. As for the back rear bed side by bumper area…again, I lay knifeless tape on that edge starting from tailgate and run it around and down to the bottom area off the body line and once installed , I zip and tuck for good quality. After a wrap is done, I recommend going the extra mile and running 3M 1inch clear tape strips around those bed side bumper wrap around edges and by the wrap around gap by front side bed line areas. It will protect those areas from pealing up and keep rain from getting on those edges.

      Hey Ryan. I have experienced a small issue. I have wrapped the front fender of a w204 mercedes and the inner groove where the front fender meets the quarter panel pillar, the clear coat happens to have separated from the paint and is now stuck to the vinyl. I now have a small flapping piece of vinyl on an edge which is quite discrete and not in the eye but i was wondering, that 3M tape you mentioned. Would that in any way work to sort out that issue without having to redo the entire fender. If so, what specific 3M tape is it?

    Hey Paradox. I been wrapping for about 3 yrs now out of my garage in CenCal and still not nearly as quick or efficient as you but I was wondering if you get many come-backs due to peeling since you don't take anything off most of the cars? I have to spend at least a whole day just removing bumpers, mirrors, handles, etc. I'm honestly wanting to know since that would save a ton of time in disassembly and reassembly. I just don't want a bunch of clients coming back because of peel back. Congrats on the new place and cant wait to see ya get that warehouse next. Also its getting real hard to find vinyl supply right now, no?

    Without removing the bed slide the vinyl with backing paper between the bed and the cab. Once its as far back as you need it slowly remove backing paper while keeping tension and you shouldn’t have issues with coverage.

  • @FrankA-973
    @FrankA-973 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    You can remove the bed bolts and slide it back a foot with enough room to wrap the back of the bed and the cab. You will have to remove the rear bumper first!

    • @arshaadcreighton5134
      @arshaadcreighton5134 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can last for years dependant on two factors. The quality of install and the type of colour or brand you use. Eg a chrome or flourescent colour will be more vulnerable to outdoor conditions than a usual gloss or satin finish.
