Great video! You did an excellent job for a novice! I just purchased a truck and plan to tackle this project. I have no doubt that your next attempt will be flawless! Thanks again and God bless!
Great look! The takeaway for me is, not only should we protect our undercarriage but the finish of our vehicle is important too. I think you have conveyed that here and the process is rewarding as well because you've captured an amazing new look. Again, great project, great video edits and compilation.
Great video Edward...that was truly interesting, and I am *thoroughly* impressed by how well this came out. The hard-earned wisdom you've kindly shared here confirms what I've always suspected: I would never ever have the coordination and patience to wrap my car. Sheets of anything somehow turn into wild, unmanageable living creatures in my hands, LOL. Fantastic job, on the wrap, and on the video.
@softroadingthewest haha oh I’ve had vinyl origami plenty of times during this project. I ended up throwing some good material away as a result. Let’s get a snow trip in soon 👍
I am a Dip fan but what you did here is absolute Awesome…she looks stunning and you’re right the more you do it the less mistake you’ll make the the better result you’ll get. Keep the contents coming my bro 👍🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
Shadow looks amazing in that color! Nice job! I bet the project tested your patience and patience. I just can't imagine spend this many hours and pain stakingly go over an inch by an inch. The end result looks incredible. 👍👍
My hats off to you for doing this job by yourself. Many hours involved, but much money saved. 30 ➕ hours invested into this project... how many F 💣 were used during this ordeal??? All and all it looks 👌. Thank you for sharing. Take care Edward.
Thumbs right at the beginning of the vid for just even attempting to do this! Love the videos, I created my own arcade machine cabinet and I have say wrapping it was my biggest challenge. 💪🏻
I race racecars and I HATE messing with wraps and our sponsor stickers and logos lol my patience is non-existent when it comes to that... I got to the point where I know the fans are behind a fence and wall to watch us race so I just slap stuff on now and screw the bubbles 😂😂😂 good job man
Totally impressed. You gave it to us real! I love the color. I would love to understand how long the wrap will last and what is required to keep looking clean?
Edward just now getting a chance to watch this. I knew you were planning on it we chatted about it before. Kicking back with a drink and watching, thanks. And my thoughts and prayers are with you and Katie as baby gets ready to meet the world!

Well done Edward, I have bean thinking about doing this for over a year to my tundra, but I have done so much research and watched so many videos that I know I have to get my head in the right space to take on a project like this. Great job man looks great for your first wrap
@adventure_outline I would definitely recommend setting aside enough time for something like this. Because I had to make constant adjustments, it took a lot of time. But if you get the hang of it quickly, it may take you much less.
Extreme amount of patience and attention to detail. Definitely will pay off as a new Dad. Looks good, I don’t think I could do it, when I built plastic models as a kid my fingers would be stuck together as I rushed through the build. I’d be proud of your first try, if I was to try this I know who to contact for help.😝
Nice work and feedback brother! I just ordered KPMF Satin Stealth Tundra for my 2020 TRDOR 4Runner. I'll definitely be ordering some of the tools you recommended
Man that is a big vehicle to wrap. I've been looking to do it myself as well so I appreciate and am inspired by this video. Looks great. Love the color.
Mistakes or not, you took on the challenge and finished it like a boss. Bravo, bro! For TH-cam videos, it is probably as good as it ever needs to be - but in person it may personally give you the OCD quivers. I'd say for a first time wrap on a such a big vehicle, you did an awesome job. Gained some skills, tools, and trail cred! Now you can go get some nature stripes added and not damage your paint.
Good job man! That’s a big job to tackle for a first timer. Been contemplating doing it myself as well, but I used to install the clear film on the front of vehicles for rock chips so I do have that going for me.
Nice work Edward! You made it look easier than I thought it would be. I've been wanting to wrap my Excursion for a while. You have inspired me,. I may even tackle it myself. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up with you, Jason Darrah, and the other adventures you all have been seen traveling with. That's dedication for being a 1st timer taking on a project like this. Great job and I like this green over the trd pro green. Also thanks for the shirt!
I wrapped my dads tundra a few months back... biggest issue I had was with that antenna as well I have to add a small patch as well. The gap between the rear cab and bed also gave me an issue but I moved the vinyl as far back as possible. It helps that both your truck and my dads are originally black so it’s not noticeable right away. My recommendation is to stretch the material slightly and use one full piece per door instead of making that seam. Good job though !
