Yes, she won. One of the things she won is a 1 year car lease and she's 16 so she doesn't have a drivers's license.

She has a very beautiful voice, but some of her technique was questionable. Her transitions from falsetto to chest could've been smoother. And a bit more breath control. But without a doub she has true and genuine talent.
This should be a real cover, she brings the best of 2 worlds together. Goosebumps :)

Well this actually is a version by Emily Browning made for the movie Sucker Punch! She basically covered Emily's version, not Marilyns! :D

In fact, French people learnt it as well while Italian opera was spreading throughout Europe. "Bravo" originally comes from Latin "bravus" (although the literal meaning was something more similar to "brave, heroic" rather than "good": this is due to the fact that the word "bravus" comes from "barbarus", term used to refer to northern foreign populations during the Roman Empire. And this word was borrowed form the Ancient Greek term Βάρβαρος... ).
Italian is almost completely based on Latin and therefore the word is now considered Italian since Latin is no more our primary language, and also because Italian is basically the language that has the most in common with Latin nowadays.
In both languages one is supposed to variate the final part of most nouns and adjectives to have them in concordance with the subject/object connected to them.
"Bravo" is used for a singular male person, while "Brava" is the female equivalent (their plural forms are respectively "Bravi" and "Brave").
I don't know exactly why and how, but whereas Italian people used to applaud and cheer Opera PERFORMERS, French people connected the word "Bravo" to the PERFORMANCE instead, thus using it in its male=neutral form and including it in their vocabulary. (this is something I still can't quite process since in most European languages "performance" is a singular, feminine term: how on Earth could a male adjective be thought to refer to a female noun?🤷♀️no idea). In any case, using this word while referring to the performance itself would be considered a mistake in Italian since the adjective "Bravo/a/etc" is not suited for objects/abstract concepts, it's only used while taking about people...
