    Such an important video!
    RNC escape and hitchhiker are my go tos but that kip escape is so underrated! Great video Eli!

      The best thing about these escapes is that you can reverse engineer them to make your attacks better or you can reverse engineer the attacks to make your defense better. That’s how these came to be.

    Eli, is there any keys to keeping a present mindfulness while rolling? So many times (I'm a new white belt) I find myself getting mindless and struggling then I wake up and think, "what the hell am I doing?"

  • @MEAT_CANNON
    @MEAT_CANNON 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Never give up your wrists in a grappling match. If I get wrist control on you, you're gonna be hurting. I know how to take someone down with a simple wrist control throw faster than they can blink. Lay 'em out on the grass and make their head spin and knock the wind out of them. Wrist control leads to the arm bar technique.

    I've got a question, Sir:
    I've been doing Taekwondo since the beginning of 2019 (January), and I am a while belt in it right now.
    But I've got a big interest in Jiu Jitsu as well. Is it good to do 2 sports at once?
    I've been watching many of your video's now and it really got me into Jiu Jitsu.
    I'd appreciate any advice from anyone.

    An educational and potentially arm saving video... but with such low volume, I could not even begin to understand anything being said. It's NOT hard to go back and edit the video, and increase the volume on it. Your viewers shouldn't have to.
    To be fair, I have no skill with JiuJitsu, I was looking up general JJ information prior to deciding whether or not to lug my old butt to a local BJJ gym.
