That's like asking me how to git gud :) So I'll try to give you some directions : Try first to be smooth and easy on the car, improve your consistency by for example picking braking markers. Always try to analyse your driving habits to see where you can improve. Practice with a purpose (don't just do hotlaps mindlessly as your progress will be slow that way), get into a league to be able to improve from the competition. There is no big secret, if you keep practicing and practicing more you will get there.
@@vinx3373 Thanks for the tips! I've been doing practise sessions and only pitting every 7-10 laps for fresh tyres, is that good? Also, I can't seem to find a good balance between locking my brakes and slowing down too late. Even when I have a marker the pressure doesn't feel consistent. Also, do you have any tips on H Pattern tranny? I always spin out when I try to downshift while H+T. Again, thanks for the tips. Cheers, mate. Edit: (As an example of what I use for markers, on the first hairpin in S2 of the Nüburgring GP I use where it has the brick overrun as to where I start braking. Is this a good type of thing to use as a marker?)
@@zrspangle Your brake marker at Nurburgring is perfectly good. Yes doing practice run until the tires are worn, trying to keep consitency troughout the stint is the way to go. For the brakes locking up I can only advise you to try to initiate the braking at always the same spot then focusing on being super smooth on the brake release. If you lock up, try to brake 5 meters earlier next time and have less braking pressure at the spot you locked up on the previous lap. Change your braking by tiny increments until you find the optimum, otherwise you will get lost. For the H pattern downshift locking issues, you need to start blipping the throttle on the downshifts. Look up "heel and toe" on youtube, it is extremely fun to do.
@@vinx3373 I've been practicing Heel and Toe, yes, but my main issue is that i can't seem to apply brake without giving way too much throttle haha. My pedals are almost *too* close together to be effective, so I can't really give light input on one and strong input on the other.
Awesome lap! Well done 👍😀👍
Thanks :D
Absolutely clean
very clean, good job mate!
Thank you my friend
Wow, great lap!
Cheers!...
Thank you mate !
Do you have any tips for keeping the car on the edge of grip?
