Brilliant. RIP Luciano Pavarotti (1935 - 2007), my all time favourite tenor, a voice as warm as the Italian sun on a field of sunflowers. Much missed but never to be forgotten.Carreras and Domingo wonderful too, Carreras still with us after years of chronic lymphoblastic leukaemia and has raised so much money for research to improve treatment of the illness. Domingo still going strong aged 83. Wonderful music, so uplifting. We really need this great music now in our troubled world.

Loved watching them. 3 great singers who knew their worth. Could kid around with each other. They enjoyed their work. Miss them. TV just doesn't carry this caliber of greatness anymore. Are there no outstanding classical singers today? Or does TV consider class useless?

Pavarotti makes every note look so easy to sing , his voice is so clear ,meanwhile the others put always much effort to do it ... That's why he was and remained the best!
I heard him say once in an interview, that he'd rather learn and sing 20 songs well , and always improve on each one over the years, rather than learn new songs all the time. I'm sure that is what you are seeing here, he has a complete command on his songs and the way he sings them.

Music need to give you good feeling that is undescrible, make your brain work better, body is ready to move. This days music is full of bad meaning and lies.
People please stop being machine and start to feel again, we really need to recreate Sinatra, Pavarotii, Editte P., Freedie Mercury, Luis Amstrong. This people are amount us but we dont't fight for them. Thank you Worner for this moment in time and let us see it for many more times.
