Then Josh is like "i heard that" and Chad got out of it and continued like nothing happened becouse hes so good and actually that drum part was sick!
Nah, it looks like Chad started to put some extra “over the bar line” punches in there a couple nights prior and Josh began to piggyback onto it. Notice how his strumming matches the crashes then they smile at each other. Touring musicians mess with this kind of stuff all the time when you play the same songs night after night after night…. It keeps the songs fun and interesting.
I really don't get why people hate on Josh (and John leaving). John has gone on to create tons of really good solo albums (some of them with Josh and Flea) and Josh has given the Chili Peppers some new creative input. He's amazing in the new album The Getaway

Good God some of you guys are clueless. This vintage Fender *stratocaster* is owned by Chad. He obviously lets Josh use it. It is similar to John's in that it is a sunburst finish, this is because all (most) strats in the early years of production (late 1950's/Early 1960's) were that style. John gave Josh his Fender telecaster, which is also a sunburst finish. But is not in this video.

To all the the people hating on Josh, give him a break. He try's to bring in his own style to the songs that Frusciante wrote. I think he does an amazing job, and his voice is incredible. On a lot of the songs that he has written with the band, he absolutely nails them because he can do more with it. Look at Frusciante with the band when they made Mother Milk back in '89. The next album they made was BSSM and it blew people's mind. Who knows what they'll pull off with the new album this year.

I'm sick of people dissing on Josh. We get it, he isn't frusciante! Would Anthony would've picked him if he was un-talented and worthless. I get that John was a big part of the band and Josh can't ever replace him, but he CAN bring the band to a new state of music. People might have been the same with Hillel and John. They could've said "No one will replace the original!" but he brought the band to a new state. So please cut him so slack even if you don't love him

If Josh imitated John, people would be mad. When Josh brings his own style, people get mad. You can't make everybody happy... so quit trying to convince these people riding Johns nuts that Josh is perfect for the band at this time. And this is coming from someone who is a HUGE Frusciante fan.

Acho ele um bom guitarrista só que para algumas músicas do RH exige solos que o Jhosh deixa desejar. Se talvez o RH mantivesse o Jhosh e o Frusciante para solos e riffs talvez a banda ganharia muito mais em qualidade .
