Don’t know if you play guitar/instrument, but what his cleans miss are a compressor in my mind. That being said his fuzzy tones like in the jam are so good.
Actually just read he does use a compressor. Maybe the amp then🤷🏻♂️

Really Flea is one of the best bassist in the world. Master in the slaps and the rhythm. And you can fill all the music, even if you have a single guitarist in the band.

@@lucca.loft.fan.4204 Cliff Burton and flea are two different things incomparable both amazing both with Limitless Talent but they're not interchangeable couldn't put flea on a Metallica record just like you couldn't put Burton on a fucking Chili Peppers record it just wouldn't work

At first I didn’t appreciate Josh… Later on I realized that he’s amazing and brought a new crazy energy and, despite I never could have imagined hearing myself saying this, feel bad that John came back.
Been watching recent performances with John and it’s evident that it doesn’t work the way it used to… What can I say, the fucker left and came back one time too many.

Fun Fact: Josh Klinghoffer loved the chillies so much he learnt every song before joining the band and would study how John played. They became friends and would also jam together quite a lot.

I'm a huge Frusciante fan. That being said, Josh brings more excitement and energy to the table. He's a fantastic performer and guitarist. I LOVE the new RHCP release (Unlimited Love), but live, John comes across overly medicated. Sorry but it's true.
yeah true but it doesn't even matter because Frusciante is just 10 times more talented in my opinion. John tells a story with his playing, I don't connect with Josh's sound as much.

They’ve already made two albums with josh. They were not good. No one can replace John.
@@Tennis214 They made two, and the first was excellent, the second had a few good ones. Nobody can or has tried to replace John, it's just the next guy. Dave and Josh weren't John's replacements, they were the guys after John. The only actual (noteworthy) replacement was John, who was filling in for Hillel until he found his place and became just the next guy and not Hillel's replacement.
sydneylol John is arguably the most influential guitar player of the last 30 years. Hillel was never going to become anywhere close to that. I appreciate him for being a part of the beginning stage but that’s it.
After listening to “Im with you” again I’ll concede that it was pretty good actually. It’s just not up to par with the albums with John.
