When you say replace the images from Pintrest with my own images through the process makes me tear up. I don't know why. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer last December. I have been through Chemo, mastectomy, radiation, and now am on targeted therapy. It has been a lot and has recked my health. I am 100% cancer free and ready to get my life back. That's the search that brought me to this video. I love this idea. I can't wait to find a picture of a woman running and be able to replace it in the next year with me running. I want to do the same with horse back riding, hiking, traveling, knitting. cooking, and hanging out with my friends and family. I have tears rolling down my cheeks as I type this. Thank you for giving me this powerful tool. I was meant to find this video. 💕
Dear God, please bless Elizabeth with health and strength so that she may enjoy running, horse back riding, hiking and all her favorite activities. Amen 🙏 ❤️
Your vision and becoming is absolutely possible. I am 4 years breast cancer free! People tell me I look younger now than I did before I was diagnosed! I started an exercise routine and workout 4 days a week! I lift weights, run and walk 12,000 plus steps a day! I went through the same treatments you did…lost my hair, got sick…..that person is long gone….you will do this❤️
I love the tip about replacing the stock images with our real life images! I’ve been getting ideas on how to improve my goal/vision board for 2025, and this is 100% something I’m adding!
Thank you very much for this. I am going through a terrible patch in my life right now. It started in February and I can’t seem to get out of it. I’ve had chances to change, but I keep slipping. I need to be more present and take control of my life and not just react or wait for things to happen. I have to stop and breathe first and make sure whatever decision or action I make aligns with my goals. This would be a great tool to help me achieve that. Again, thank you! 😊
@@AZsunflower you could use Google and search for the images using the same tip Karin shares - or even use pre-Internet methods like cutting out images from magazines 🤓
This is the right way of creating a vision board. It is similar to how I do it. I have one page in my planner that has my vision board and I leave the other page blank and as I complete a vision, I add a picture of me completing it to the blank page. Then I replace the vision image with something new and that becomes my revolving vision board that I keep for years.
I paused your video so I could go do these steps and I'm so excited!! I saw another comment on here that they got emotional when you mentioned we'll be replacing those images with our own and I did too. I don't know why, but maybe because it's exciting to think I absolutely CAN be the person I want to be and have that life. Thank you so much for sharing this!
I am happy that I came across your channel. I am going to try this! I am starting a new chapter in my life and I have been wanting to change and be happy for me as I learn about me. I just did know where to start. Thank you for posting this and I look forward to checking out the rest of your posts!
This is so awesome!! It is focusing on building the systems that result in the end goal rather than focusing on the goal itself!! And if/when the goal changes, as it will, the system can adapt! Identifying the ID and then living up to it through habits and activities.
I like the idea. I wasn’t sure when you switch to your own photo. Is it when you first attempt the habit or when you feel you have it at least fairly well established? I had a friend growing up with the same spelling and pronunciation. I’m “Caryn” but with the usual pronunciation.
she has her PhD in health communication. Based on her knowledge, education and experience, she is considered an "expert" in mindset and behavior change
I think it might mean, she's been studying this field for many years equal to the length of time someone would be in university...but has no real PhD in this particular field. Just someone who's read and watched hours and hours of self help things.
Hi! The video walks you through how to use Pinterest to find the images and includes an example in step 4 🤓 You can then load the photos into Canva or the notes app on your phone and replace the ones from Pinterest over time with ones you took of your life 😊

Totally doing this for 2025. I struggle with visualising the end, so this feels like a good incremental way to hack my brain. ✨💚
You're a PHD! You look like you might be 20 years old! 😊 Love this becoming board concept!
She did. ot say she was a phd, ut had phd le el knowledge. LOL
I resisted watching this at the mid point but I’m going to do it. Gonna do the last step in particular. Thanks 🙏🏾
You're welcome! Let us know how you get on! 🤓

Let us know how that goes - and if it did improve your vision board 🤓
I have been doing this my entire life, and also have found it useful for job motivation.
That's awesome!

We're sorry to hear this year has been rough for you, but we're glad this video provided you with a tool you can use to look ahead 😊
Are you going to try making a Becoming Board for next year?
YES!!
Yep! ❤
Probably not. I really don't know how to use Pinterest.

Thank you Karin, this is the first time I’ve heard of this … I definitely plan to do these exercises and plan to work toward Me 2.0!

Love this!! This aligns so closely to what I already do with clients, the added part of swapping out photos is brilliant!!❤
❤I love this idea. BTW, you are a natural presenter/public speaker. I hope you continue to grow your channel. You are very very good.

This sounds like a great practice too! 🤓

You're so welcome! More importantly - you absolutely CAN be the person you're working on becoming! 😊

This reminded me that I created one of these in January of this year and immediately forgot about it 😅
Oops! 😅

Love this concept! I will definitely be trying this - achievable and can see how this would impact everyday thought process
I’m excited to see how this looks different from my vision board from last year. Great ideas!

I want to do this for the new year. I can't afford to join anything, but I subscribed.
We're stoked you joined our community!
That sounds great. I'm going to try it. I need something new instead of a vision board.
Awesome! Let us know how you get on with it! 🤓

Yes!!!

That is totally up to you - especially since some of the photos may not represent habits as such but tiny moments of the future self you envisioned.
You say on your blog PhD 'expert' - I am just wondering what one of those is.

Hi! Our founder Karin has a PhD in Health Communication and is a published researcher on mindset theory 🤓
can we see an example, and how to make one...

Another Karin! 🙂
