Seems like it’s been forever since you last posted. I look forward to yours out of all the people I watch on here. You come across so genuine and that is what makes you so awesome to watch
I hit the jackpot at Lowe’s the other day. They were giving away all of the left over Christmas trees. 3 truck/trailer loads later and bam, free fish cover! Made my weekend.
I can’t wait to get to Texas and meet you lfg I hope one day we can give it a dangle. I get asked all the time if I’m sponsored by the Googan squad and I tell them no that I just know that you guys are the greatest companies out there. Been with you guys before you even had a bait on the market. Love the videos lfg!
What I would give to fish that lake. That is basically all I do is crappie fish. Great piles and great video! Looking forward to getting bigger with my channel. BTW, you want to catch some crappie, come fish with me in Tyler at Lake Palestine.
My idea for brush piles this year is to use some old fencing (kind that has the 8" x 6" rectangles) attached a cinder block and zip tie brush (cane) in the openings.
When somebody asked me who I wanna be when I grow up I tell them, like Lake Fork guy! I can’t wait to grow my channel like yours one day! Goals and dreams
Nice looking truck 👍 Justin ...so it does snow in Texas I was surprised when I seen that .have a little snow here in Michigan suppose to get more on Saturday GODBless you brother
I buy and restore old axes. I have quite a few similar to that one. That axe head design (Rockaway) is my favorite design! I have taken a few 3 1/2lb heads and made them into those. Can be a pain if they're hardened!
I know that the mossbacks work very well and a little bit on the expensive how ever thay are the best thing that I have worked with. I was involved with fish habitat at Kiwanis lake in Tempe AZ back in 2018 that was a good week I had a lot of fun
When you use a Christmas tree. Take your chain saw and trim out the center section leaving it open so the fish can get up in it. We have done it and it helps immensely.
Not to be a hater but lfg is by far the most relatable googan for me. Love the do it yourself down to earth do it with your hands not your wallet attitude.
Been a while, but I think Skallagrim, reviewed and had a good opinion of those axes. Does a lot on, pointy and sharp objects, even using swords to do the odd bit of pruning. I think the Samurai Carpenter is more LFG's style though.
We piled up a bunch of Xmas trees for our big pond one year, left them for a year to let all the needles fall off, places them in summer. You’re right about the snakes. I pulled a tree off the pile while loading them onto the jon boat and a fat ol water snake fell onto my foot while napping. He took off but my god I about came out of my skin.
I didn't sink any trees this year, but I've always wondered if it would be any different for the fish if you sank the tree upside down. Tie a block to the top with wire (or concrete) and tie a milk jug to the base. Any thoughts?
Can you please make some crappie for beginners videos. I’m just getting into crappie fishing this year. Being in Washington state we grow up fishing for trout and salmon.
From experience. Take the same idea but use strips of vinyl siding. Then bend them into shape. I made a fake grass area in my pond with 20 of them. They’ll last a lifetime.
Not sure if your see this but when you cooked that Squirrel it was tough as shoe leather. Tip once you skin and clean it, vac pack it and age it in your fridge for min of 7 days then bread it fry and make a graveyard from the oil and then add the fried Squirrel back into the gravy and cover and then cook til when you put a fork in it it will fall off the bone. No more shoe leather.
That extra boat you speak of needs to be your bass boat that you keep verses the one you turn back in every year, I'm thinking it should be a Basscat, matter of fact I think you go visit Basscat factory and teach a little about boat's with wooden stringer's and ones without.
Christmas tree ones will be good but all those smaller ones will just slime up and break off pretty quick. That’s if they make the ride to the lake. Better using scrap PVC
Ok so I know this is Publix’s but I don’t know how to get in touch with you any other way but it would be a dream of mine to spend a day on the water with you just having fun. My birthday in in April so spawning time!!
I kinda hope he takes some of that cardboard and puts his new Octapusses Garden concrete blocks on top of instead of the unprotected bed. I'm not a hater in fact a big fan so don't hate.Thank You Jake Bissel.
You are going to need more weight on those Christmas trees , I put some out last week , I put 2 trees together and it took a block and a half to sink them ( I was using the old heavy type blocks that weigh about twice what the one at home depot weigh) . Tip. Crappie like vertical structure bass prefer horizontal structure If you can come up with a mix of both you will be ahead of the game.
They make a red bag of quick concrete that needs little to no sturing for the next time add water from top and it soaks down to the bottom also seen a guy doing this but he used old kiddie pools and made full size Bush
I want to hear more about the yard! Where’s the lake life family video on all this stuff ? Love y’all
Simple projects like this are so fun to create. I don't know what it is but I think it might be our inner kid coming out. Enjoyed watching the vid!
I can't wait to see how you lift those specialty brush piles.
Next video his face is just covered in scratches
Seems like it’s been forever since you last posted. I look forward to yours out of all the people I watch on here. You come across so genuine and that is what makes you so awesome to watch

Greetings from Georgia LFG. Keep it up!
Excited for the trout video!
Shoudlve probably premixed the quickrete in a bucket then pour a little bit in the center blocks then put the branches in there

I was thinking about doing something like this but I need to finish my boat first. Any recommendations on building storage for a flat bottom?
LFG THE MASTER AQUASCAPER
Have you seen the crispy structures made out of tomato cages and zip ties? They are pretty darn awesome
LFG: "Imagine this brush pile on the bottom of the lake"
Me: *snagging intensifies*
Somebody tell LFG they have cordless sawzalls. Brutal to watch...lol
Awesome
I love my GB small forest axe. Great axes for sure!
Nice ride!
brought back some good memories...did the same thing with xmas trees for an Eagle scout project
Sounds like Justin has recorded his own guitar background music and layed it over this video, if so it's sounds really good!
Not to be a hater but lfg is by far the most relatable googan for me. Love the do it yourself down to earth do it with your hands not your wallet attitude.

Anyone else, loaner truck from dealership and dragging cinder blocks across the bed. Ouch! Too Funny!!!!

Sako palm leaves work great and last longer than trees... Well in my experience they do

Lol, I've never seen anyone use quiikcreet dry. I've always mixed it into a slurry with a hoe and wheelbarrow. Great video, thanks for sharing.
That granfors axe tho 😍
Love your video

Keep us updated on the yard work
Man this is way off topic but how did you do your research for camping up in Colorado? Me and a friend are wanting to do the same style camping.
dude you are killing the planet
Can you please make some crappie for beginners videos. I’m just getting into crappie fishing this year. Being in Washington state we grow up fishing for trout and salmon.

Goodness gracious, it could of took you all out. 😹
How are you planning on transporting?
Aloha from da Islands of Hawai'i stay blessed my braddah 🙏
Here in Arizona, we just dropped hundreds of Christmas trees all over Bartlett lake.

Get underwater footage of fish on the structure you built.
Now you have to follow up over time to see which ones work and which ones don't.
I didn't miss the video of u trying to catch crappie on ur hand ties did I? Thanks
I like your truck
Nice to see that you using Swedish forrest tools :) is //A Northern Swede

Snoek not everyone’s truck is meant for a princess :)

Real trucks get scratched besides not his truck lmao
Need to do a catfish catch and cook with mom. I miss that Texas drawl she has when she speaks.

When are you going to start making crappie baits ?
Have you tried sinking the trees with a burlap bag full of stinkbait
Would be cool to see a top speed, g.p.s. video of your new silver bullet
lmao the end where you are just spraying the hose. Fire for effect.
That extra boat you speak of needs to be your bass boat that you keep verses the one you turn back in every year, I'm thinking it should be a Basscat, matter of fact I think you go visit Basscat factory and teach a little about boat's with wooden stringer's and ones without.

Im kind of interested on how he is going to transport that stuff and place it in the water....

Ps. Cedar trees work great as crappie cover.

You should be able to just reprofile the Grans fors bruks axe and it should be good to go and be as sharp as the day it came.
Cool how too
Husqvarna baby!
Good God, man... Mix the concrete in a 5gal bucket and pour it in...
It’s crazy how this dude came outta brain surgery and went right back to it bruh 😂 this dude keeps getting recommended to me

8-ott block- cinder block-haydite block
