As a non Chelsea fan for example, why do I/should I care how many trophies they win for example? If Palmer plays weekly and we all recognize he’s a top player, that’s because the eye test doesn’t lie. If he then adds trophies on top of his ability, that only solidifies his position. Doesn’t take away that the eyes still enjoyed what they watched even without the accolades.
