To be fair, Chelsea fans have seen his performances for about the final 10 games of the season. It's people who watch him every now and then who are surprised by this form
Really enjoying the balance between possesion based football with verticality and directness in transition under De La Fuente for La Furia Roja. The underlapping runs from Carvajal and Cucurella to attack the half spaces definitely caused Italy problems and helped Lamine and Nico with 1v1s out wide. Feel it's only a matter of time before Nico and Lamine score in this Euros, Nico almost scored an amazing goal. Morata has also excelled in holding up the ball and link up play, with Pedri, Rodri and Fabian Ruiz being very press resistant and Pedri making good runs into the box. I think Spain will make quarterfinals vs Germany, but Germany have homefield advantage with Gundogan, Musiala, Wirtz, Kroos, Kimmich and Neuer playing well I think Germany would still be favorites to progress. Should be an amazing game!
The coach of Portugal is the Spanish Roberto Martinez. (Belgium. Everton ect) was in the first to coach Spain and Barcelona... be careful with Portugal
Spain's 3v2 in the middle when out of possession was really key in preventing Italy from creating anything really. If you look at the game against Albania, everything was going through Barella and Jorginho.
Hey, I think Spain also exploited being quite a lot faster and fitter than their Italian counterpart. I think that seeing Spain playing a major side with a better physical prep will be more interesting as I don't think they'll be able to dominate France or England with the same tactics. Spain has a little problem with turning their chances into actual goals (with the exception of the game against Croatia), and despite being the one team in possession, it only scored against Italy because of an own goal. And it managed a meager 1-0 against Albania. But as probably everyone can see, it is the team that has show the most dominating football so far. We know that pool games and knock-out games are two different things, tho.
Italy can do good but the main problem right now for italy is donarumma with the ball . Vicario had a good season cant understand why spalletti is not giving a chance to him .Football now a days is more than having a good shot stoping keeper nowadays keeper should be more good on ball.
Did you not see the game? I'm not a Donnarumma fan either, but he saved Italy from being under 5-7 goals. The main problem is Spalletti not sticking to the right formula, experimenting, and putting players out of their main roles.
i need to know wich is the program u use for the tactical board, can u send me a message with the name of program? i wait for ure answer, thanks. U have a new suscriber. Great job!
What's interesting is it used Italians desire to press against them. If they had just sat off and let the full backs have the ball then spain would not have had the inside space to exploit
🇪🇸 use a traditional tactics 4 3 3 but they have the players for this tactics. England can also use that's but Sougate don't take the players. Beste exemple is Rasford. Rashord can be for Kane.
As an Italian, Spain would've still won even without mistakes from Spalletti (too many). First of all, I would've called Gabbia instead of Gatti. Then, I would've played with a 3-5-2 formation: Vicario; Mancini, Calafiori, Bastoni (he's the best itw in his position at Inter, but very mediocre at best as the central CB in a back 3 or as a left CB in a back 4 like against Spain); Di Lorenzo, Barella, Jorginho, Pellegrini, Dimarco (he's quite good as a fifth in the midfield with less defensive tasks, for the rest he really sucks as a full back); Chiesa (with more freedom), Scamacca. The reason I'm saying that Italy would've still lost despite these changes I suggested is rooted in the fact that the average quality of Italians has drastically decreased in the last 20 years, as kids are prevented to develop their technical skills in favor of a rigid tactical discipline. Fortunately, my club's youth sector (Milan) are working very well with players, as they are not afraid to go 1v1 while attacking. The recent U17 Euro victory was led by youth Milan players, with Camarda and Liberali on top.
probably the biggest weakness that this team has is the center-back duo. They are decent at best. A team with really fast attacking players like France with Dembelé or Mbappé could benefit from long balls at the back of the defense.
Los ingleses no entienden que para jugar al fútbol hay que jugar al fútbol y no deducarse a entrenar el físico. Luego se inventan estos analisis elaboradisimos como si fuera algo mecanico.
There is an embarrasing lack of precision and speed on passes in this Euro. That's the key for Spain. the ball is moved with velocity and precision. Is the least we could ask to elite players.
I agree with your analysis on Spain, but not much on Italy. IMHO Italy did not press man-to-man, neither in attack nor in defense, it cannot be called man-to-man defense if you are 5m away from your direct opponent, giving him precious seconds to think. Spain, on the other hand, was on top of the Italians in every pass, that's man-to-man pressure. Spain would probably have won anyway, but with more difficulty. Let's take Di Lorenzo VS Williams, the technical difference was enormous, but with the Italian player stuck behind Williams, he couldn't have turned and dribbled with such ease. As an Italian, I say that Italy has learned to attack but has forgotten how to defend, which is a shame
@@ortiz5922 nope you are wrong, Spain has been playing the same way even before Luis Enrique. Since Luis Aragones they have been playing "Barça" style. No wonder why almost every player in the team has had some influence by Guardiola, Luis Enrique, Imanol, Xavi or some other possession based team.

I have an interesting question, why is there certain countries that manage to make an amazing football like spain ,germany, england, france and etc(good leagues and good achievements of thier national teams) while certain countries seem pretty bad at football despite the fact its popular sports in these countries, for example the whole middle east countries,or the asian ones....is this something genetic?
Spain were entertaining in the first half, but unfortunately started with their old diving shenanigans in the second, which makes it hard to like them.
Anyone else notice how weak all European international teams have gotten? What happened to the star players and teams? Teams are relying on aging star players, players who are playing in Saudi Arabia or players who can’t even get into their club teams! For. Instance Netherlands with Depay, Italy Scamacca, Spain Morata and Ayoze, Portugal Ronaldo and Pepe, Germany Gündoğan and Kroos, France Kante and Griezmann these are just a few examples and clearly the standards have dropped drastically! What happened to the real power house teams and players that we remember?
Its easy to stand out surrounded by mediocrity. The avg top level player now that has a professional chef, nutritionist, strength n conditioning coach, strict no alcohol or tobacco policy means the avg player is far better today. If an avg player today played 20 years ago they would be considered world class.
Have you also noticed that teams nowadays defend with 11 players? It is not easy to score in this case. Well-executed tactics or outstanding individual performances are needed for that. This is also why own-goals are more frequent than ever. This is all the consequence of players' physiques being better than a decade ago (like @hebisty4163 mentioned) and tactics have evolved for that.
Italy tried playing with Ciro Immobile who is one of the Seria A topscorers but they could not integrate him into the squad. It is not as easy to make a functional team. Also, some players have more motivation to play in their national team than their club (like Pogba) or just a well-established member of the starting XI (like Morata) integrating a new player instead of him is not enough step-up to be worth it. This is why England has always struggled in the 21st century. They have a good squad but to have a good team it takes more than that. (They had some good runs with Rooney and Beckham leading them, but when they were not on the pitch they were losing).
There are many flaws with the choosing of your players. 1. Morata is 3rd goal scorer all time in the Euros and just had a very good season. Ayoze also had a nice season at Betis and they AREN'T aging 2. Germany aren't totally reliant on Kroos and Gündoğan. And why are we speaking like both aren't great players. 3. Many of the players that went to Saudi still have the quality. They just went early for money.
Skamaka is a classic striker, not a fake attacker, so Italy with the ball, plays 3241..Germany has Havertz false striker 9 so Nagelsman with the ball 316
It's funny that y'all always discount Spain because they don't have the biggest names again. Happened at the last Euros, yet they got to the semifinal, narrowly losing to eventual winners Italy.
Lucky? All of the shots were easy, every single one went to Raya's hands or very near. It's not being lucky, it's called not shooting well. And how it comes you can't believe Albania didn't beat Spain when they nearly couldn't do 2 passes straight before the last 10 minutes😭

We’re in the final! And we are winning it! No doubts
I am amazed by Cucurella when his wearing Spain jersey his 10x better than Alphonse Davies but in Chelsea he plays like Maguire Real should sign him
To be fair, Chelsea fans have seen his performances for about the final 10 games of the season. It's people who watch him every now and then who are surprised by this form
Just unfortunate that your mediocre reasoning hasnt allowed you to see how chelsea fans value cucu
@@CestaciaoAK never said they don't value him work on your reading skills before u reply
He won’t go to RM he’s a Barca academy product
He was close to joining Real Madrid while Cucurelli was at Getafe, but the deal didn't go through since Real Madrid already had Ferland Mendy.
Bro ur videos r pure class
Could u make video on Indian football and what should they do?
"How Spain Are Suffocating Their Opponents?"
The spaniards be like: "thats our secret, we are always suffocated"
The coach of Portugal is the Spanish Roberto Martinez. (Belgium. Everton ect) was in the first to coach Spain and Barcelona... be careful with Portugal
They lost vs Georgia doing a poor performance, but maybe was only one bad match
Thank you for your efforts. Can you tell me what program you use to simulate players?
Brilliant analysis.
Thanks for this video👍
What app do you use?
please make video on portugal too?
Italy can do good but the main problem right now for italy is donarumma with the ball . Vicario had a good season cant understand why spalletti is not giving a chance to him .Football now a days is more than having a good shot stoping keeper nowadays keeper should be more good on ball.
Did you not see the game? I'm not a Donnarumma fan either, but he saved Italy from being under 5-7 goals. The main problem is Spalletti not sticking to the right formula, experimenting, and putting players out of their main roles.
@@PS-dp8yg He saved goals thats right but i am talking about with ball he is not good at all .
Southgate will be watching this for 10 hours
i need to know wich is the program u use for the tactical board, can u send me a message with the name of program? i wait for ure answer, thanks. U have a new suscriber. Great job!
What's interesting is it used Italians desire to press against them. If they had just sat off and let the full backs have the ball then spain would not have had the inside space to exploit
They didn't want to repeat the 2012 mistake. Giving spain 90 mins of full possesion is a really bad idea.
The thing about formations: Having a bunch of guys up high does NOT mean the ball will ever get there!
🇪🇸 use a traditional tactics 4 3 3 but they have the players for this tactics. England can also use that's but Sougate don't take the players. Beste exemple is Rasford. Rashord can be for Kane.
Can you make a video about Portugal?
Italians went mamma mia
Rodri is the best player in the world rn
It wasn't Nacho that played left center back, it was Laporte
My kid says that your explanation is great
Great video as always. If you were the manager of Spain's next opponent, what will you do to counter Spain?
probably the biggest weakness that this team has is the center-back duo. They are decent at best. A team with really fast attacking players like France with Dembelé or Mbappé could benefit from long balls at the back of the defense.
play a pacey player and counter attack. Cucurella is the only speedy player they got in defense
Nacho did not play, laporte played in cb. Just a small correction.
Can you analyze Austria tactic? Im not sure that they run gegen press but they are really strong team
Guardiola behind the mask
I'm genuinely curious. How is your italian pronunciation so good? 😅 are you half-italian by any chance?
Literally Barça's playstyle
Literally barça style was fired with Luis Enrique

Nacho did not play against Italy, Laporte did.
Vamos 🇪🇸
Tell Spalletti...😤
Aymeric Laporte started at left center back not Nacho.
Yea but 3 starters out against france, 2 due to Jacky English ref including carvajal
Do the gameplay en tacktics from tony kroos

Ayoze also had a nice season at Betis and they AREN'T aging
2. Germany aren't totally reliant on Kroos and Gündoğan. And why are we speaking like both aren't great players.
3. Many of the players that went to Saudi still have the quality. They just went early for money.
when was the last time a spanish player won the european player of the year?
Italy with the ball its 3241 not 325 bro 😊 good work
Please dont send it to Germany !!

I can't believe Albania didn't beat Spain. Raya is so lucky
Lucky? All of the shots were easy, every single one went to Raya's hands or very near. It's not being lucky, it's called not shooting well. And how it comes you can't believe Albania didn't beat Spain when they nearly couldn't do 2 passes straight before the last 10 minutes😭
@@Pablo-tm6tb so top corner you call "in rayas hands"? and albania dominated most of the second half and they had chances in the first one aswell
