You saved my day, sir! Of course - it is the burr on the edge of the blade that is doing the work. You told us, it functions just like a card scraper! I put the blade in the wrong way - silly me! Now everything is working fine and my Stanley 80 is good to go! 😊👍
@@makingthings1463 any particular reason? I've been looking to get either one and thought the 12 would be more stable because of the larger soul and able to push easier because of the larger mass. Thanks for the help btw.
