I'm on my first site with this system. I miss ICF haha. Regardless, I appreciate this info. Looks like we worked a bit harder than we needed to. Sure wish I'd watched this before we started. Cheers from Canada
I really like this content of vid. Although i am still confusing in getting so many words/explanation. But the badic things i get it. Such as the name of t bracing suppory and how to install lower...and starting the level of the form from the corner. It's really amazing knowledge...
I need to poor a slab on top of a bigger slab, how do I set the forms, can I use a hilti gun or what. I don't know how to secure the forms? Need help plz...
Thanks for the video one question before starting would you build all your rerod grids tied together from the rerod coming up from footer then start with panels
It depends on the specs we are dealing with. Most jobs we assemble as we setup, we lay them on the snap ties and tie together. Commercial jobs or if there’s an inspection to pass, we assemble the grids then set up the forms.
My dad is always riding my ass about putting the ties in the wrong from, it always trips me if I put it in the one getting latched or doing the latching
Thanks. The 8’ tall 6 bar forms I have are around $85-$100 a piece. It depends how many you buy at a time. I bought the set in 2009 and they’re still in pretty good shape, we oil them every pour.
Thank you gentlemen for teaching us newbies the intricacies and beauty of concrete. I am on my road! ~ Mister Walter

This is a good video. I hope you do more
You can put a bracket in the 4×4 corner
As someone who is almost 7ft tall, I can confirm that it makes working on the top of the forms much easier
thank you. great video 🤛👍

Thanks boss man helped a lot.
You don't clean the forms before placing them? And also for the sides you don't clean those either?
What company sells these forms? I have tried looking for a while now and can't seem to find a company that manufacturers them.
Western forms.. Out of Missouri
Good explanation
isn't a Corner piece called a ICB?
Are those forms expensive? How much per panel ?
When I did concrete mass . We used to call them quick Latch forms
I've called them dura forms
how do you cut and fasten the filler piece?

Concrete and Construction thank you I will look into them most guys in upstate ny use the symons forms. These look much faster
@@Boysinda they are much faster. It depends what your doing, if you have to do walls thicker than 16” or 16’ and higher, the symons are better.
Concrete and Construction awesome thank you !
I don’t listen to who don’t carry a tape measure
You got a lot of years out of those forms from 2009 .
The key is oiling them before every pour.
@@CoastConcreteCorp Yeah maintenance keeps stuff going .
