@qwertandrew8720 I've been a Chevy truck guy forever...all V8s. My son had this 2.7 turbo in his Silverado, and it was trouble free and pulled pretty well. So I wasn't too concerned about it in this Colorado. Honestly, it accelerates better than my last 5.3 V8 Silverado. Onky makes sense since it has more horsepower and more torque than the 5.3 I had, and the truck is lighter. Love this truck so far.
@@scavenom2008it certainly is fun, but off-roading ability isn't purely for recreation, and when it's really needed that extra capability can be a life saver.
I just picked mine up last weekend. Good to know it CAN do it even though I never INTEND to do it. I just want to explore in it and KNOW it will get me home.

I’m gonna buy one. But I don’t understand why ppl enjoy rock crawling, it seems so slow and boring and u have a guy telling u “left right left, slow, left right” the whole time.
@@outlandishoverlandnot to mention the locations you can get to that other vehicles can’t when rock climbing. I’ve camped at some of the coolest remote spots before because of it.

Maybe the dealerships in your area are over charged but I did not pay that much. Also I prefer to use vehicles for what they are built for. Whether it's racing them or offroading them. Life's too short for that.

Right it’s almost like you need a beater truck for this and have a nice truck for more mundane stuff

Don't knock it until you try it. I've done all types of offroading and rock crawling offers a challenge most other types don't.
I can tell whos never done it. Its one of the most thrilling experiences. Only looking up at the sky and pushing urs trucks limits is amazing

I actually had a spotter. There was other people there wheeling that day and one of the guys that had just done the obstacle was spotting me.
