Brother Paul, if you are ever coming to Bosnia again, and staying for a few days, I would be honored and very happy to show you around, no charge!
I was 14 in 1992., and remember much of the politics PRIOR to the aggression on Bosnia, as well as what was going on during the 90s, and could take you to a few places in my car.
I personally have lost around 30 near relatives, most of which were killed/murdered in or near their own homes or land. I also know from experience what it's like to be on the "receiving end" of snipers, mortar grenades of 60, 82 and 120mm, and of 155mm howitzers.
I have also read the Bible (both Christian and Protestant Study Bibles) and done some studies on the history of Christianity, and my faith comes from scientific pondering on the existence of everything, so I think we would have many interesting conversations.
Please tell me you will accept my offer and honor me with your presence the next time around (hopefully very soon)!
The LEAST I would be happy with is to meet with you in person, as I have watched many of your videos and agree with your conclusions on almost everything.
I am very disappointed that you were here and I didn't get to meet you.

As a bosnian i appreciate that you dedicated some of your recent posts to the muslims in Bosnia and the genocide.
However, people don't realise that the political situation in Bosnia is very difficult. The united states pressured all sides to sign an agreement where we would have three presidents, but we would have a "high representative" which is basically almost like a dictator the un appoints undemocratically. He can add or change laws without the permission of parliament or the people. I hope the same doesn't happen to the Palestinians.

      @@mohabatkhanmalak1161 There you go!
Armenian Genocide is often called the first Genocide of 20th Century.
Turks were on side of Germany during WW-I and fought wars with Russians and they admit that over 750,000 Armenians were ordered to be forcibly moved by Turkish government. Historians mention over a million were forced to vacate their houses and move (on foot) on orders of Talaat Pasha in April 1915, away from eastern border and towards Syrian desert; fearing / alleging Armenian help of Russians in their war. Only 300,000 Armenian deportees survived by end of 1916 as a result of these “death marches” as per conservative estimates. There were wide spread killings, rapes and conversions of Armenians recorded during this period. BTW this is not sole instance but similar mass killings of Armenians also occurred in 1890s vide Hamidian Massacre (with 200000 dead) and in 1909 vide Adana Massacre (with estimated 20000 dead). These Genocides led to end of 200 year presence of Armenians in Eastern Anatolia.
May like to refer to Wikipedia and The 1985 UN Genocide Report. Also may note that allied forces had pointed out the massacre in May1915 (see telegram at www.armenian-genocide.org/Affirmation.160/current_category.7/affirmation_detail.html)
In 1997 the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) passed a resolution unanimously recognizing the Ottoman massacres of Armenians as genocide.
Even an independent legal opinion commissioned by Turkish Armenian Reconciliation Commission and published by the International Center for Transitional Justice concluded that the Ottoman massacre of Armenians in 1915-1918 were a genocide. This issue continues to be a factor in denial of EU membership to Turkey.

Our Army was really bad equipped and needed weapons while Serbs had Jugoslav national army weapons and arsenal of everything from trucks to planes, Jugoslav national army was the 4th strongest military in the Europe at the time and was completely controlled by Serbs. West and America waited for 2 years and then America working with Iran (imagine this) helped deliver weapons to Bosnian Army in clear violation of embargo but that wasn't discovered at the time and that cover up is probably one of reasons I am still alive and able to write you this from my humble home on the outskirts of Sarajevo. Just like today in Gaza, behind the scenes "International community" hypocrites supported Serbian-government led genocide under Yugoslavian flag by closing their eyes and setting embargo on defence. Nowadays, in Bosnia they do the same but with "white gloves" by supporting ethnic divided entities (for future conflict), politics and media that relativize genocide by equalizing the both sides, and minimizing genocide in form of highlighting murdered civilians in separate regions, or exclusively of Genocide in Srebrenica (8372+ civilians killed) instead of 100 000+ killed in whole Bosnia, along with million(s) displaced internally or abroad as diaspora. Considering a few millions of total population that death rate and migration is huge.

Oh how I remember that awful genocide. I'm a Bosnian born Australian and most of my family was still back in Bosnia, including my other and other siblings during that war. I don't know how I got through that time, because from the beginning of the war, till it ended, I didn't know if my mother and rest of the family were dead or alive. I thought I would go insane with worry.
Thanks to God, they did survive, but barely and in the end it killed my mother anyway, as they were under siege for almost 4 years. She was a diabetic and she couldn't get any medication or medical help, which resulted in other complications that killed her. So I can assure you Paul, I haven't forgotten the Bosnian Genocide and I never will. And thanks for visiting that beautiful little country, that is packed with natural, and wondrous beauty. Despite the sad past, everyone should visit that place at least once. they might be surprised.

On 28. May 1993 one family was killed in a most brutal way in a village near Sarajevo, Semizovac. Imam Hasib Ramić watched his children being slaughtered in front of his eyes starting with a month old Amina, 4-yrs old Ahmed, then 10-yrs old Meliha, then the oldest boy, 13-yrs old Muhammed, then they slaughtered his wife, 35-yrs old Šefika, and then they slaughtered him.
They found their bodies near a creak or something like that after Amina's soother was found.
Bošnjaks have been suffering from collective amnesia too, it was not the first massacre we've gone through, and our neighbours/ neghbouring countries show very clearly their stand hasn't changed.
Our strength and our survival is in the adherence to Islam. We were mainly intergrated, not practicing Muslims, atheists, but it didn't help.

So called civilized world imposed weapon embargo on Bosnia to prevent us from defending ourselves against at that time 4th strongest army in Europe. Not only that, in september 1995, when serb agressors were on their knees, NATO threatened us with bombing if we don't stop offensive. Chief US
negotiator Richard Holbrooke admitted it publicly. We don't owe anything to miral and spiritual garbage called civilized world.

I can never forget the horrors of Bosnia as I was a young man at the time and even wanted to go and fight but I was prevented from doing so (long story). I had Croatian Muslim friends who went there and refused to fight the Bosnians, they would only fight the Serbs. I knew others who were Bosnian that went back to help defend their homeland but unfortunately they died during the war (May Allah have mercy on their souls.) Your comparison to what is happening currently in Palestine is so appropriate. I will not mention the horrors I heard from the first hand accounts and what was recorded at the time, but to say it was mindless barbarism is an understatement.

Muslim genocide in Bosnia not only done by serb n croate militia Christian terrorists but also done by western politicians n country when they put up a weaponry embargo on Bosnia n deny Muslim Bosnian to protect themself from the slaughter. Remember, even islamophobia is also a kind of Muslim genocide as well, an indirect genocide. There was earlier Muslim genocide that World has forgotten when Al Andalus was taken back by Christian during reconquista where either Muslim communities were expelled from their homeland, executed or forcefully converted to Christian without their wills.

The same thing happened to the Muslims of the Iberian Peninsula "al-Andalus" that happened to the Christians in the neighboring territories, which are now Morocco and Algeria, where the indigenous Christian communities that were dominant here in the times of late antiquity didnt preserved even in this mostly pitiful form in which they are preserved in Egypt. Both sides were equally intolerant here.

@@xxvxxv5588 I was going to say apples & oranges but it would be wrong, it's more apples & flying hippos as your attempt to equalize the two isn't remotely possible. First of all, the 'Christians of North Africa were forced conversions by the Roman empire. And the presence of Christianity in Egypt was A LOT stronger than in the Maghreb. When the Muslims came, the amazigh tribes were the first to willingly convert to Islam and it spread rapidly. Within one generation you already had (muslim) amazigh generals in the muslim armies which became the deciding factor in establishing and maintaining a foothold in the iberian conquest. To this day, there are still Jewish Amazigh tribes in North Africa (mainly Morocco, but most of them moved to Israel after 1948) so if they got rid of the Christians, why not the Jews too?.
The way the reconquista did it though was beyond brutal and there are Andalusian accounts of what happened. It spanned 3-4 generations the 'hidden' muslims were monitored like no tomorrow. They were so paranoid, cleanliness was a sign of being a muslim and executions would happen based on whims.

Their European features didn’t not stand out significantly , as there many Palestinian people who are blonde and fair skinned. They fled their homeland in the nineteenth century escaping persecution , and settled in Palestine . Those who I know don’t speak their native language , but are proud of their roots. I don't agree. It's compassion with other people. A sense of justice. Knowing we have to share the same earth. That we don't really own anything but only temporary use it. That we should restrict ourselves. I can go on.
Many philosophies and religions can help us to get the right mindset.

Being a Bosnian, precisely Bosniak muslim myself, one thing that was obvious learn from our recent past here is that acting like this pacifist brotherly neighbor to the neighbor that is openly hateful and intolerant to your existence is a death sentence as the regions of Bosnia that believed the most in this communist ethos of "brotherhood & unity" which resulted in them not militarily organising for defense, by far suffered the most, which is basically whole of eastern Bosnia and most of northern Bosnia.
When the evil is cooking there's no point in acting like this good pacifist that hopes for no war or conflict, for malevolent types, this type attitude is a food for their egos

Thousands if people went to the UN building for safety there and the UN peacekeepers handed them over to their Enemy and then they were rounded up and shot. Men and boys rounded up and shot and women raped. There is still BBC report about it in archive. I still think about them😢❤ May Allah protect all the Muslims. First of all not only you do not allow flags but Islam asks for Gays to be killed (just as Apostates and Blasphemers).
Next about Quran; how come you have atleast 26 versions existing today.
A comparison of the four earliest texts i.e. Birmingham Manuscript which is oldest (dated 568 and 645 CE), Sanaa Manuscript (dated 632-669 CE); both written in Hajazi Arabic AND Topkapi Manuscript (dated Mid 8th century CE) and Samarkand Manuscript (dated 775-895 CE); both in written in Kufic Arabic, shows that numerous omissions, corrections and insertions within and across these early Quran manuscripts. For instance apropos Sanaa manuscript which is a palimpsest (same parchment overwritten after erasing earlier text) a study of just 11 folios showed the earlier text having 61 (non-orthographic) differences with contemporary Cairo edition. So much for Quranic fidelity! Go learn and not simply be brain washed by your Maulavis.

@@deepsareen1That isn't true. That's what you got from the media but you probably never read the while Qur'an with context. I am a muslim woman and I have much more rights rhan a Cristian woman, in fact, I've had them for over 1400 years while your women only received them in the previous century. Islam teaches me not to hate anyone wether in islam or out and it forbids killing except in self-defence when you have no other choice. We don't hate gays fyi, yes it is prohibited in islam to ACT upon your homose*ual thoughts if you have them but it isn't prohibited if a person has such feelings(we're all human and only acting upon those thoughts is considered a sin in islam for ppl who have them), and even then, we aren't allowed to hate on anyone. We don't hate Christians or any other non-muslims, in fact, muslim men are allowed to marry christian/jewish women(women can't so as to retain her rights within islam). And if you listened to the video, it was the Christians who attacked us because we are muslims, not the other way around. If you visit Bosnia you will see churches, synagogues, mosques all within walking distance from eachother and in a large scale. You have no idea what you're talking about so get informed and educated first, before claiming to know something

Dear Paul, first of all thank you so much for taking your time to visit our beautiful country and using your platform to highlight the importance of remembering our tragedy. If you dont mind, I would like to correct one mistake you made in the video, which i think is very important. Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats ARE 3 different ethnic groups, and wether it makes sense or not, all 3 have embodied their religious orientation as one with their ethnic identity. Although our languages are initially the same, the dialects are very distinguishable, and each also has a culture unique from one another. The issue is that Bosniaks were denied their identity for decades especially in Yugoslavia, where we were denied our language, our name, our success in literature and all other cultural areas. The main motive behind the war was the idea of the Great Serbia and a simmilar idea from the Croatian side, where all east of Bosnia would be integrated with Serbia, and the west with Croatia. Hence the idea was to ethnically cleanse the Bosniaks from the territory of Bosnia, so the very strong intention of erasing one nation was very, very present, and im afraid it still is today through the politics that is currently ruling.

Is very sad brother Paul that when the disbelieving European League of nations played to divide the Muslims, break apart the Ottoman Empire, defeat them, and turning the Arabs against the sultan, that's when they did whatever they wanted and that's when the Muslims were left without a Shepherd. We as Muslims believe in the decree of Allah and His promise is true and our beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ had spoken the truth about what would happen to this Muslim nation. But we must believe there's light at the end of the dark tunnel and hopefully we Muslims wherever we are, we will reach there with the help and guidance of Allah and Sunnah of His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.
