What if your trying to explain yourself in any way possible, during an argument, not during any argument, talking calmly, not talking calmly, responding to his anger and not responding to his anger....what if no matter what you say he never seems to get it? What if it’s always just about him, I either do what he asks or just shut up and go away....I hate not having any say in my life or how it goes. He even gets angry with me over which medication I take for depression. He wants me to switch to another but even my doctor said why bother when I’m doing ok on it? It really upsets me to take the time and he just moseys on down when he damn ready to (and has said that). If I tell him how that makes me feel or anything like this or ask him to not criticize i.e. the way I use my electric toothbrush or use the sink faucet or dont do something the most engineering efficient way…. He gets mad and justifies how wrong I am for acting like their is more than one way to do something. If I stay angry, He apologizes for how I feel and how he didnt mean it but its a little hard to believe after all the words said justifying and hurting me further by ignoring my initial issues… he wont apologize for denying or excuses or demanding stupid things as my fault. The guy I like is currently hurting me. Went out for about 6 months, had a bit of miss communication, didn’t talk for 2 weeks, I reach out then he tells me he needs time. I have waited for him for awhile now and I just found out he has a new girl down in another state. Human behavior is complex. Emotions are complex. Defensiveness and guilt can cause people to act hurtful...defense mechanisms. Me and boyfriend argued last time, he hurled some bad words that hurts me. Then I told him, why is it just okay for you to say that to me. And he just told me "I'm sorry, I'm just stress". I cried over our phone call. As. i ended the call, I did not try to txt him again until after one day; it was yesterday night. He reached out , but I take my time to reply to his message then he fetched me to hang out. Then, he just acted like nothing happened. He's teasing me, keep smiling at me, and keep asking me what I did on that day but I didn't hear that he's sorry for hurting me.

Merci Alex. Now I know that he actually cares when he hurts me; as he then always apologises and explains why he did what he did (most cases are lack of communication as we’re 7000km apart). He knows that when I’m sad, he’s the major culprit. However he asks me not to quick to judge or accuse him of doing things on purpose as most of the time they’re situational. He will then make it up by recording his voice or call, or sending his instant pic. I hope I’m not being stupid to accept all his reasoning 🤗
