I just love the fact that you incorporate your family into these videos. One day, not everyone in the family will be here, but you will have videos like this to go back on and appreciate these moments. This is very wholesome and quality content.
The orange ones are like finding the golden egg on Easter morning! One of our favorite family traditions! Me and my wife use to go with her family back in the 70s. When they opened the season back up in the early2000s we started taking our kids. Now, our kids and granddaughters go.
One of the things about brooks videos that I love is that she loves being with her family. And those are the best moments to live . God bless. That's the best way to live your life...for those that have their family's enjoy them to the fullest!!
Hey Mom and Dad. You taught the young ones and they show they love you for it. Just have fun collect what you can and let you younger ones do the work. You earned it to kinda sit back and enjoy!
Once again you and your family are like the sea bearing version of the Walton’s as y’all truly love each other’s company. Your mom and dad have raised a group of fine young adults who are all successful in their chosen fields. And you, Brooke never cease to amaze me with your grace and athleticism in the water and becoming an outstanding cook! Wow! May God continue to bless you and your family. 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️😇😇😇👍👍👍👍
The tulip and clam were attached to an apple or lace murex. Shout out to SWF beach life on TH-cam for all of my shell knowledge. I can't believe you put back those lightning whelks! They were definitely keepers!
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for the victims of the storm. I lived 45 minutes to the west of where it made landfall. I still have family there and its going to be a struggle, but we'll make it. Thanks again
Brook you are a very lucky woman between all you do and able to do it with family that is PRICELESS !!!! You and Victor keep up the good work. THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.......
This is the first time I've seen your video and I think it's awesome to watch a whole family go out gather scalloping and have a great time. Thank you l really appreciate all of you 🙏 God bless 🙏
Hey !!! as a local from Steinhatchee fl appreciate all the love and support from your video it’s been so cool seeing all the new faces enjoying the scalloping seasons over the years❤
1st time for scallop season for me, now I'm upset I skipped my first four here in Florida. Port St. Joe Bay. Like your wonderful family, I seen boats loaded with entire families here too. Originally from the mid-west, now convinced what we mostly got were imitation scallops because of such a different, full favor with the ones locally.
I love all of yours and Vic's content ❣️ And, adore y'all's family 🙏🏼 Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I've been a subscriber to you both for several years, and just want y'all to know how epic both of your vids are 🔥
This was an awesome video Brook, you guys have the life for sure! Your mom and dad are so great, you all have such love for each other, this is so nice.
*EDITS INCLUDED!* *1) WE LOOOOVE YOUR DAD!* *2) I WISH I LEARNED HOW TO SWIM! 🧜🏽♀️* *3) OMG IS THAT A BLACK PEARL 🦪🦪 **17:54**?!* *4) DANG FISHER!! 129 ON HIS FIRST GO!!* *5) LETS GO GABBY!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽* *6) YOUR ART PROJECT IS GORGEOUS!!*
Great video Brook! I love when they try to swim away. Lol. As a Canadian, I really appreciate how you do captions to let us know what you are videoing. What an awesome way to spend time with your family catching, then cleaning and finally getting to eat that awesome plate of linguine & scallops. Thanks for sharing!!!
Hurricane Idalia came through our area and took out the power 100% of Suwannee County. There are still several thousand residence without power. We had heard Steinhatchee was devastated and it's going to be a while before it returns to it's wonderful place for fishing and boating. Thanks for the cool video.
Yay!! I was wondering when you were gonna do another scallop vid! Keep the vids coming even if they’re back to back trips shrimping, lobster picking, scallop picking, even clam picking or digging. I love them all❤
Brook, for a really large batch, all cooked at the same time, try using a flat top or blackstone griddle so you can spread them out and get a really good sear without steaming them.
Great trip. I did that with my kids down at St Marks and big family fun. I’m going to Steinhatchee next month. Staying at Sea Hag and fishing with female guide Crystal Pesek. She is really great and so nice.
if this family dosent keep on a growing wow i love this more family collabs please you guys all did fantastic i wish i could be out there with yas enjoying it ....much love yall
Yay Brookie and the whole fam damily out again scallop huntin ! Looks like y'all had a blast Edit : tell your dad the team work makes the dreams work. God bless you brook and your family
This is -as usualy-another great video. The most emotional part is that as your father said-YOU ARE A GREAT TEAM! Thank you again, Brook and thank you for the recipe!!!
Love seeing the whole family participating!❤❤❤ When are you and victor tying the knot?????? Yes...I'm being nosey...just looking forward to the big event!!!🎉
I love what your dad says about teamwork. Thats how my dad's side is and my in laws too. All about teamwork ❤ and the scallop dish looked so yummy! I love the cooking. 😊
Greay catch, clean and cook video. As a native of Ft. Lauderdale, I never thought of cooking scallops. My brother and I would catch then to only use as bait for mangrove snappers and blue crabs. The way you prepared them for consumption looks great and I'm sure they taste just good. Got to give this one a try. Thanks for sharing.
Brings back my childhood! Spent much of my time throughout my childhood down there in Taylor County, pop's family all over from Keaton up to Perry! I remember low tide we would walk out to the bird racks (approximately 5 miles off Keaton Beach)scolloping and crabbing! The water would only be chest deep on adults and neck to head deep on us kids! What a time we had! Back then, no season and no license to gather scollops! Best tasting scollops of ny life! Spent a many a hour hulling out scallops! Worth every second! It's heartbreaking to have seen the damage as it happened from the hurricane!😔
Awesome video guys!!! Y'all did a great job finding and cleaning them and cooking them just puts your videos over the top but most of all the family love and compliments is always the best!!!! Now I'm going to see what Vics video is about today. I love both your all's channels and look forward to seeing what y'all are into. See ya next time.
There’s nothing better in my opinion the food will always taste better when you do the labor from beginning to end whether it’s growing fruits and vegetables cleaning cooking fishing cleaning and cooking. Nothing tops that
Great video! So sad what Idalia did to the area, especially Horseshoe Beach. As a Ft. Myers Beach native, I understand the hardship and hope everyone affected will recover quickly. Our family scalloped Homosassa the week before the storm, and did "just OK". Fortunately, the awesome place where we stayed had only minor flooding in the garage. When were you all in Steinhatchee?
Scallops are so good. Have to taste even better when you catch/collect them yourself. Moving to Florida in December and am definitely going to be doing this.
I miss your Grandmothers' bits in your posts... I know you miss her more. I love that you are Family oriented and don't make a "clickbait channel" but, instead make a good channel with great family friendly content. Thank you.
That was so cool to sea a scallop swim! Super cool how all of the family contributes to shuck and clean and the final product, so delicious! Curious about your cameras, GoPros I assume but what model, same question applies to your drone as I want to get into that for my own family vacations. Gracias in advance!
It’s beautiful to see how much you and your family love each other. ❤ but better yll than me in those waters because the only thing would be going through my mind is omg what if there is a shark around . Nope not me lol.
I just love the fact that you incorporate your family into these videos. One day, not everyone in the family will be here, but you will have videos like this to go back on and appreciate these moments. This is very wholesome and quality content.
Seeing that scallop swim away (looked more to me like he was running away, lol) was SO cool!!! I love your outfit, Brook. You look so nice in it!!!
The orange ones are like finding the golden egg on Easter morning! One of our favorite family traditions! Me and my wife use to go with her family back in the 70s. When they opened the season back up in the early2000s we started taking our kids. Now, our kids and granddaughters go.
37:50 you need some green color on your dish. Add fresh chopped basil on top to make it look real yummy! And some parmesan cheese wouln't hurt.
