You know, I'm starting to believe that this really is the best ever food review show. Sonny is a great guy, open minded, professional, and so very respectful. I love how he makes friends wherever he goes.
Sonny is literally one of the most positive and sweetest content creators I've ever come across to be honest, just hearing how ecstatic he is about the thing he loves to do as a food connoisseur, it also puts a smile on my face 💖☺
I love your episodes and your appreciation of other people's cultures. Not intrusive or commanding. You have a natural curiosity to learn and share the knowledge to others. Definite best ever food review show!!!
“They taste like pollen Bees would love this food” This host has ALWAYS shown disrespect to those who host him. I watched him spit one cooks food out right in front of his face.
@@tmobilemobile He’s not allowed to not like something? He has to try to force it down? Weirdo. Spitting is a natural reflex as well. If he forced it down he could’ve THROWN UP in the cooks face which is way worse.

One thing I appreciate about this show is them actually showing the full process from hunting, to butchering, to cooking. It's the process and a part of life in the places Sonny visits.
i hate it. luckily most things are left out, but me personally, i ain't tryna hear some animals whimpering and crying before they're slaughtered. think you have to be kinda deranged to enjoy that. it's different when you actually need to eat to survive, but we aren't. we're just watching a video.

@@Sffker SF has made y'all soft. Now, My favorite episode ever was the chick from the Philippines who was fawning over the milk brushed suckling pig that was tender enough to cut with the plate, her closing when asked about ppl getting mad over eating baby piglets and she goes "aww... The world is a harsh place. Deal with it" I fell in love for a minute, and then so did my girlfriend when she watched. But I also live in an area where wild pigs are billion dollar nuisance animals due to the insane amount of damage done to crops... not to mention the natural grazing grounds for indigenous deer/turkey species. Don't worry though. When I harvest I make sure they're gone before they even hear the shot though. As a Bahamian, this episode gave me a new appreciation for Haitians and their cuisine. I usually only see griot on most Haitian food menus though. I'd like to try that mixed meats & veggies mashup.
Hi AJ - it's really good! The classic sides it's typically served with white rice & black bean sauce, which is more like a creamy bean soup. I've also eaten it with rice & beans, or by itself as a snack! 😅 #FoodIsFellowship
I have never even thought about watching a food blog/channel before, but you're channel popped up as a suggested vid, and now I cannot get enough of it. One thing I enjoy about your channel is how unbiased you are towards the types and styles of food, even how they're presented. I take my hat off to you and your crew, well done!
This is the kind of travel I enjoy, I'm not a resort person. I like to be with the locals. Eating and enjoying where I am the way they do. Thanks for the experience of the other side of the Bahamas. There is so much of this world that we need to discover. Supporting the local businesses is the way to go.
yeah i wish someday someone invents a device that tricks the brain and tongue into thinking whatever i'm eating at the moment tastes like what i'm watching. for example i want my brain to think this cold can of spaghettios tastes like that luscious bahamian lobster. 😭😭😭

I love the Island People. I know many from working in the food industry. Their foods are amazing, their personalities so friendly/caring- make friends with one and you got love for life-, and they aren't afraid to work hard and put their souls into it. My dream is to visit the Caribbean and really get to enjoy all the local culture & foods.
As a Jamaican & a member of the Caribbean Community, I have never been to The Bahamas but I'm now determined to visit! We also have some very similar food. Thanks for sharing!
As a Bahamians just about everything Chef Leonardos said was untrue. Bahamian food is not blend of Chinese, Greek, Creole food. Those maybe food options offered in The Bahamas. And, Bahamians don't have a appetite for stingrays, sharks eels and the likes, we largely only eat fish fish.
People are lost when it comes to the Caribbean it’s so funny. He’s shocked about the Mexican references (tamales / quesadilla) but we are all located on the same continent and these foods we use in our cooking are NATIVE to our lands … not Africa.
Everyone Sonny talked with and worked with in this episode are amazing folks. Really fun commentary from them, and informative. Makes you wanna visit lol

A subscriber from the Philippines. I love how you promote other cultures and their food. It all started when you were in Vietnam and I love how you always try something new, promote something that is unusual and most of all, eating all of those food even if its not to your liking. I hope a lot of Americans try to open up on this kind of attitude that it not all burgers and steak but there are other foods that exist that will excite their palette. Cheers, Sonny.

Love this episode Sonny! As a Bahamian, it is so refreshing to see so many aspects of Bahamian food and culture - I had no idea you could find wild boar on Andros. When you get more millions, it would be great to visit the other islands and sample their unique dishes, unfortunately everything is so much more expensive on the family islands because they rely heavily on imports from Nassau. Great job!

I have been to the Bahamas five times in my life when I was a kid. Three times to Freeport, and twice to Nassau. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL island and people.
Sonny, again another impressive show, you showed genuine empathy respect understanding and care for the people's lifestyle and culture. well done. I'm sure the Bahaman culture department would be very happy with the job you've done in your introduction to the world of the islands local lifestyle offerings. Very enjoyable watching.
Excellent showcasing the Bahamian cuisine in its authentic uniqueness and where there was an added twist you made mentioned. Cheers to the 9M+ viewers to come to visit and get some crab and dough, stew fish with grits and Johnny cake, barracuda, and a scotch conch with a Kalik beer 😂
Calypso sauce is a staple here in Utah. We just call it fry sauce or pink sauce though. The best way to make it is ketchup, mayo, and smoky BBQ sauce mixed together with whatever herbs you like. Great for fries, nuggets, burgers, and really anything fried.
I was captivated watching this! It was funny, in-depth, informative, genuine, light and entertaining. Great job!Thank you for proudly representing my country.

This channel is just next level on consistency, quality and excellence. Even established networks aren't producing at this level and rate. Literally draws you into all these different worlds 🌎. Just incredible work.

Isn't TV pretty much dying? Streaming and content creators ate its lunch.
The food in Bahamas looking so nice I love it so much 💗❣️
Calypso sauce is a staple here in Utah. We just call it fry sauce or pink sauce though. The best way to make it is ketchup, mayo, and smoky BBQ sauce mixed together with whatever herbs you like. Great for fries, nuggets, burgers, and really anything fried.
I'm in the Bahamas I'm going to try it
Good Gawd….. the fish are so beautiful 😍 I couldn’t eat them ……those colors…. This video is great! I gotta go on a cruise
