  • I hope this video will answer your questions on what size bar is best for your riding style and height. There are many different heights, lengths and bends available and this video covers some of more popular sizes in particular for the Honda CRF 110. In this video we run through bars from ProTaper, BBR, ODI, and Renthal on my Kawasaki KLX140, BBR equipped Honda CRF110, and my other CRF110 pit bike.
    Carson Brown’s BBR bars are equipped on my BBR CRF110 build and I really like these bars since they are just as wide as my KTM 450 handlebars. If you’re constantly hopping between a regular sized motocross bike and a pit bike, you’ll probably want to go with the BBR bars. Also an interesting design feature I noticed is the Renthal 797 bars taper down a bit more at the bends when compared to the BBR bars. All in all, each of these bars have pros and cons and fit different riding styles. Rough measurements for each bar are below for comparison purposes.
    ProTaper XR50: 30” wide, 5.5” rise from crossbar
    BBR: 32” wide, 5” rise from crossbar
    ODI 110: 31” wide, 3.5” rise from crossbar
    Renthal 784: 29.5” wide, 3.5” rise from crossbar
    Renthal 797: 28 3/4” wide, 7” rise from crossbar

    Hopefully this video will help you and maybe even save you some money on deciding which pit bike bars to go with. We are discussing each of these pit bike builds in next weekend’s video. the Protaper KLX/CRF 110 bar is almost exactly the same as the BBR 910 bar. I got the Protaper xr50 and didn't like it so I went with the KLX/CRF 110 bar. I have a 2021 Pitster Pro MXR 155

    Ironically I restored a yamaha lb50 chappy. Put on an 80cc pot kit / "power pipe " and a couple of bits and bobs. The hardest part was getting a set of bars thar worked. I ended up at a custom scooter centre some way away and all good.

      Hey Pete! I would call BBR to see if they may have cables that will work for you. Mention my video so they know what you are trying to do.

      @@campervanbug7658 handlebars can be interchangeable. Handlebar manufacturers, make different bar sizes for different types of riding styles and the height of the rider so each rider can have their own preference of bar size to fit their riding style.

    Wouldn’t the rise be measured from top bar not the cross bar.. how do you measure bars without a cross bar?
    Edit: noticed you mentioned crossbar as reference 👍

    • @CharlieFerer
      @CharlieFerer  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      All of the bars I have bought for the 110 have a cross bar. I have not seen any without but that is a good question.
