Thank you Hannah for emphasizing the importance of living a well-balanced life. I will not give up my wine, nor should I - or anyone else who chooses to partake. I eat 85%-90% plant based. My husband and I go out for dinner once a week (he's a musician so I'm usually socializing 1 or 2 days a week) and I enjoy a glass or 2 of wine along with (usually) a pasta veggie/sauce dinner. I don't worry about added oil. You have to enjoy life - it's too short!! I'm 63 and who knows how much longer any of us have. So live-your-life and enjoy yourself! -And especially enjoy the food you choose to eat! Thank you for all the delicious recipes!

@@kristinLB Haha same, kinda, overnight oats with my own soy based yoghurt with 50 grams of berries (i alternate those), some cinnamon, 2 tbsp of ground flax and a banana. Each day for years now, the only thing thats different is saturday and sunday (a fresh baked loaf from the bakery). I'm happy i don't get bored with it, it's so easy.
I think the biggest reason that I always failed my diet is because I was too strict with what I was eating. Always ended up binging and giving up. I have been following Hannah's meal plan recipes, I am literally full all day.. too full to eat anything else lol I have no desire to eat snacks and no craving junk food.. It is my day 4, and I've lost 4lbs already! And I feel amazing!!!! Thank you Hannah 💖

Don’t be afraid of fats Hannah they won’t make you fat. You can eat even more than you are rn. Tahini is amazing in pasta too and for dressings and pasta sauces. My uterus and joints have benefited a lot. I recommend seeing if you change your relationship more with healthy fats of all kind. 💗💗💗

The mango chia pudding is so good! I didn't have maple syrup,so I added 1/2 a ripe banana to the milk + mango in the blender. Now I want to try other fruits!

Love my oatmeal in the morning Hannah! Since I have started adding a little more fat I have been losing weight. Whereas when I was doing under 10g of fat a day I struggled. Oats will keep me full for a long time. Thanks for sharing 🚴♀️💪💚

I would add the chocolate chips into the cookie and after 10 minutes at 350° flip it and cook 2 to 5 minutes more so it's crispy on both sides. But, yes, delicious!

It gets so frustrating to watch so many other influencers sharing a plant based lifestyle and not realizing the real world we live in. I too am 90% plant based but we are not living in isolation and we all know the challenges we have when we go out to restaurants etc. I know the servers must think I am nuts with all of my requests like "very very little oil please" or having that glass of wine. If we live most of our lives eating the correct way what is once or twice a week with a slight deviation going to do to us??? Thank you again for your support in our community and wonderful recipes. I tried the chia pudding this morning and it was fantastic!!

I went through the Diet crazies of the 70’s 🙄along w Jane Fonda 🤮 & Richard Simmons (👍) For the last 15 years I’ve been pescatarian … & walk . I keep my weight within 5 pounds my personal goal is to not exceed 130…. My best weight is 122-125 . I also find a day or two of fasting to balance it all out is beneficial along with intermittent fasting especially as you age ! I’m 70 so my metabolism has slowed down … & I don’t need a lot of food 🥗 and volumizing my meals with lots of veggies is satisfying! Keep up the GREAT work 👍
Good Morning, Hannah. Libra here too. I get the whole balance idea, because we really need it. When trying to lose weight, balance for me is important because I actually feel depressed cutting out so much flavor. We need to add it back in other ways. I was surprised to see the tofu cook up like a quiche. I will definitely try this!
My Gram is 97 and makes the most amazing Tapioca pudding. I grew up eating it and it was always the best day ever when she would make it. We often ate it still warm off the stove. It never made it to the fridge. I love Chia Pudding because it’s a lot like Tapioca but healthier

Great video - i'm still working with my issues at age 60 I'm trying to kickstart my metabolism I'm still working on sleep -- I made a little improvement but this past night was the disaster and it makes me hesitate to be less strict but the last two days I let myself even have some vegan junk food and did my best to not beat myself up just let myself enjoy it.... I'm trying to enjoy my food more and I love his recipes I think you're so creative and fun trip in the new face I want embrace which is having a little more joy being a little less strict with the eating

I make breakfast burritos and wrap them in plastic wrap and freeze. Then I cook them in the airfryer until crisp and browned. I started this after Trader Joe's stopped stocking my favorite rice and bean burrito.

I'm not vegan but I can't do egg products. I've gravitated to more firm tofu recipes. I love the muffin tofu veggies OMG what a game changer. Plus the over night mangos!! Wow!

I think to be on the safer side when baking in air fryer and using parchment, the extra parchment paper should be cut/removed and only covers slightly larger than the cookie size. The reason being if the paper touches the coil, there is a possibility of fire.

I want to get one like yours but I need to know how to cook white rice correctly and especially sushi rice in it. As I remember you saying once that the rice in your rice cooker tastes amazing and stays warm all day. This would make it so easy for me to snack on something healthy always. My question is do you double everything for Derek? Maintaining a good weight is key. Learning to live yourself and do everything in love: Work, Exercise, Going outside, Relationships...That's how I came back from a bad accident 10 years ago. I never had to loose weight but maybe 20 at best but I'm in the fitness/ yoga world do not hard but maintaining good eating habits. You are so right. I just learned that the issue with oats and gluten is, that a huge amount of oats is actually 'contaminated' and therefore contain gluten.🤯 There are some labeled as gluten free (might still not be 100% due to some regulations) and you can also look for manufacturers who follow a purity growing process. Depending on how serious your issues are, it might be worth looking into this 🙂

I am thinking I will start making my own whole-grain porridge mix. I never really cared for oatmeal. However, I don't mind trying something with a bit of flexibility and variety. Granola has always been overpriced and uses oils and sweeteners. I thought why not try making 5 grain or 10-grain porridge? Include some mixed seeds, frozen fruit, and dried fruit. I bought some and I will be trying out my breakfast idea for the next week or so. I am thinking I really enjoy my routine of soups, stews, and pasta. I have been trying to find ways to eat more produce and rely less heavily on pasta and tortillas.

I’m stuck on avocado toast! But the Texas version is using spicy guac 🥑 instead so I think it’s better when there’s some flavor

Would you be able to show us how to make sushi rice in your rice cooker please. I want to get one like yours but I need to know how to cook white rice correctly and especially sushi rice in it. As I remember you saying once that the rice in your rice cooker tastes amazing and stays warm all day. This would make it so easy for me to snack on something healthy always. I live in Australia and its going to cost me a lot to get out here. So having the correct way you do it would convince me its worth buying and getting shipped here. .Please share this on your you tube with complete recipes how you do it. My question is do you double everything for Derek? Maintaining a good weight is key. Learning to live yourself and do everything in love: Work, Exercise, Going outside, Relationships...That's how I came back from a bad accident 10 years ago. I never had to loose weight but maybe 20 at best but I'm in the fitness/ yoga world do not hard but maintaining good eating habits. You are so right. Back when I first was Vegan it was all good conbinding.... So low density foods. No extremes. But the industry have seen the diet fads. Happy to be Vegan !!! Your videos are inspiring !!! I really appreciate this video as even though oats are gluten free , they still give me a lot of stomach pain so I can’t eat them.
I just learned that the issue with oats and gluten is, that a huge amount of oats is actually 'contaminated' and therefore contain gluten.🤯
There are some labeled as gluten free (might still not be 100% due to some regulations) and you can also look for manufacturers who follow a purity growing process.
Depending on how serious your issues are, it might be worth looking into this 🙂
I don't eat breakfast but these sound great for dinner or dessert.

I am thinking I will start making my own whole-grain porridge mix. I never really cared for oatmeal. However, I don't mind trying something with a bit of flexibility and variety. Granola has always been overpriced and uses oils and sweeteners. I thought why not try making 5 grain or 10-grain porridge? Include some mixed seeds, frozen fruit, and dried fruit. I bought some and I will be trying out my breakfast idea for the next week or so. I am thinking I really enjoy my routine of soups, stews, and pasta. I have been trying to find ways to eat more produce and rely less heavily on pasta and tortillas.
