I’m not one to comment on anyone’s videos much but I have to say I just found you and I got more from your one video than dozens I have watched since I am a beginner in eating plant based. Thank you, and continue please.
You always make me so hungry. I can't wait to go to store so i can make the loaded sweet pototoe and the stuffed peppers. Gosh I'm going to have to try them all. Thank you for your spunk and super good food. You make everything so much fun.
Our family favorite is a cauliflower Alfredo with vegan parm. Always a go to along with sundried tomato pastas too.would love to see a related recreation of a Alfredo dish!
My go-to meals are lentils with salsa and greens; black beans with salsa over quinoa; raw cauliflower bowls with jackfruit, tofu or tempeh; tacos; chickpea salad lettuce wraps; homemade ramen; garden rolls; simple salads with my favorite combination being apples, dates, and seeds over greens
I love your channel I do like when you narrate the ingredients or just put captions on the screen as the items or placed very convenient when cooking at the same time following alone
Glad you the pickled onions made a come back. I was starting to think something was wrong....lol. And all 7 things you named were absolutely true. I'ma save this one and go back to it. Looking good as always sis. Yes, I'm a bowl lady instead of a plate. Lol. You not by yaself 🤣🤣🤣
You are so fun to watch, and your food looks incredible. I've been vegan for nearly 10 years but I still find inspiration, motivation, and new tips and such from your videos. Keep it up
My current go to is sautéed red onion, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes and chickpeas on a bed of roasted Kale with a hot honey sauce 😋 It's very filling and it always leaves me wanting more.
If you ever want to thicken your sauces or gravies with beans or chickpeas mash up about 1/4 cup of the beans that are cooking. Then that will thicken your gravy even more. Also you can add sea moss gel. I love your channel sis and I def subscribed! I’m going to get so much healthier thanks to your recipes and your sharing them! Thanks a bunch! 😊
I make a chickpea sweet potato curry and it’s delicious as well! This looks super good. I’ll definitely have to add more veggies next time!! I also peel my ginger and freeze it so I always have it on hand lol
Ok so for the past week I had made a mixture of shredded purple cabbage, shredded carrots, bell peppers, (any kind of your chose) some white onions, and mushrooms (either the button cap ones, or the shitaiki one's) cooked/ sauteed those all together. An had them on a bed of white rice , rainbow quinoa , and red an or brown lentils. So So GOOD! On everything try it. I also took leftovers of the rice that I had an mixed it up with some spinach dip after I had warmed the rice up an had that same veggie combo on top of that. #EVERYTHING Seasoning that I used was smoked paprika, garlic powder, some Goya Adobo All purpose seasoning, dried thyme, dried oregano, regular paprika, Chile powder, an either some fresh crack black pepper, or some ground cayenne pepper, ground ginger, ground powder mustard, and turmeric. #ALittleOfEachGoesALongWay Lol Love your channel keep doin what your doin girl glow up game is serious already at 40k finna be at 50k sooner than you think! 🤩😊😄🙂 Much love from Chicago Illinois.💖💓💞💕
Wow! Have been vegan for 2 1/2 years & always on the search for healthy & delicious vegan recipes. Love your creativity & how easy the meals are! Thank you!
Ima new vegan just seen your channel girl I love the energy I love your vibes your soo beautiful you get me excited for my meals your food always looks soo bomb 😋❤️
Thanks Shakayla for sharing these 6 recipes and definitely will be having the chickpea curry and the crispy mushrooms sounds 😋 but I will be cooking it in a airfryer ( I am replacing the oven with a airfryer because it's cheaper to run) and I cook oil free so would coat the mushrooms with the dry ingredients with a little water and leave it to marinate for a few minutes then airfry them. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Shakayla.
You are absolutely amazing! New Vegan here and I have been double-dutching with the lifestyle for years now. Your channel has been such a HUGE help. I am currently starting my own channel which you have truly inspired. I appreciate you so much!
Great video 👍🏾👍🏾 my vegan go to has been tacos with wegmans ground vegan meat or Ms. Tab pecan meat, chicken wraps and pre made cauliflower rice bowls from trader Joe's. Sometimes.... it's ghetto and I want a chef😭😒🤷🏾♀️😅
Your hair is beautiful..I was looking 4ward 2 dessert..but ok nxt week👌🏾..my go to's are Basil pesto to toss w/ short pasta over salad, sundried tomato pesto cuz why not😄..& my dessert would be apple crisp it's nvr fails always good some how always different👍🏾
These look great! My go-to lunch/dinners are bean-vegie-rice burritos, enormous baked potatoes smothered in pico de gallo, veggie fried rice, tofu veggie stir fry on steamed rice, or a big sheet pan roast of broccoli and sweet potatoes with a bunch of seasoning with maybe mushrooms in there somewhere
Everything looks delicious as usual! My tip for ginger....if you buy organic ginger, you don't need to peel it. I chop it up into 1-2 inch chunks and put those into a freezer bag. Any time I need ginger, I take one out and grate it frozen. Not only does the peel grate (and you can't detect it in the recipe), but the ginger grates so much easier! Any little piece left over I throw back into the freezer bag and use in the future for green smoothies. And BTW, as long as I have red curry paste on hand, making a Thai red curry is my go to when I haven't planned anything else....easy to make and uses whatever veggies I have.
You are an inspiration I am currently on a Raw/juice diet and thanks to you I'm now cooking meatless meals I made the loaded sweet potato and it came out Bomb! the only downside I have about it is the portobello mushrooms I didn't like the texture too well so next time I think I'm going to use oyster mushrooms instead for a lil more crisp thanks for sharing u are appreciated 👍🏽 😊 ❤️🙏🏽
@@Shakaylafelice I'm on day 32 & I'm going to continue until my body says otherwise lol I'm definitely going to make clean eating apart of my life forever Indeed🙏🏽💯💪🏾keep inspiring sisStar 🌟 ⭐️ 🌠 ❤️
I’m glad I just like good tasting food. I’m on no special diet but I eat vegan, vegetarian, plant based, and maybe something with a meat at least once every three months. Our bodies work the same but are different in what they need in some respects, but I like to give myself and my body a break so I cook them all.😊
These recipes were awesome! It has definitely inspired me! I’m on a 60 day challenge to eat more food meals without processed meat like products ie. Impossible Burger etc! I’m going to try the curry chickpeas first this week! Thank you so much 👩🍳🌱
I am trying meatless recipes, and I just tried the sweet potatoes with mushrooms. I was SUPER skeptical, but it was GOOD! Looking forward to trying another one
This my be from a old video but after I get 100% well again I've been sick for the last 5 days I definitely want to try some of these recipes looks amazing 😋❤️😋❤️
Hey Shakayla how are you doing? Great video! I was looking for something different to fix for dinner , I watched this video and made chick pea curry it is so good. I didn't have kale but I used spinach it was so so delicious. Thank you I will be trying some of the other recipes.

My go to is pasta with marinara sauce but I add garlicky roasted eggplant, peas and Field Roast Italian seitan sausage. I’d love to see what you’d add!!
The sweet potato and orange sauce looked so good. My go to is three bean soup with whatever beans and spices I have on hand, and 'chicken"(oyster mushrooms) and waffles. Tip: If you go to the grocery store toward the end of the week, you may find the oyster mushrooms on sale, I usually do. This video is going on my favs
Thanks for the recipe with the pumfu. I'm allergic to soy, so I don't eat tofu. I needed another recipe besides doing the pumfu breakfast scramble. I will definitely give the orange pumfu/"chicken" a try along with the loaded sweet potato. All the recipes (as usual) looked delicious. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. I know a couple who used to eat vegan during the week and ate meat on the wkend because they found that to be cheaper. Processed vegan foods can definitely be expensive, but whole foods like those in the produce section are much more economical!
