I just got a p-rep board today it's great. The only problem is the tool it comes with. It was very hard to screw in the screws. I think tech deck tools are slightly better but still didn't screw in the screws. I had to use a tiny screwdriver I already had that had a bigger handle. So if you get a p-rep board make sure you have a tiny screwdriver with a bigger handle.

when the boards are glued, wouldnt they be done in a vacuum bag? rather than placing weight on them. a vacuum bag would apply even pressure all the way around.

How long does it take for stuff from blackriver to get to florida?
Honestly, if ur just getting into fingerboarding then all you need is a 32mm tech deck, some cheap bearing wheels and some tuning. Just upgrade what you want as you get better.
You saud something that sounded close to laaker, something to do with the pop, what is it
If you don't want to get the most expensive fingerboard (literally just the woob deck in kelseys setup if worth $50-$60) you can get the 'second best' or mid range for everything. e.g instead of getting brts which are the most expensive, get dynamics (my fav truck). This will save you around $15-$20. Instead of getting a woob/flint or the best decks get a good quality but cheaper deck. These are usually from smaller companies (which are super underrated) You can get a deck like a DK blank, hana deck, enso deck for $20-$30 but still get a good quality deck. For wheels same goes DK wheels, maple wheels will get you a good quality set of urethane, bearing locked wheels for cheaper than the most premium wheels. So there should have been another range of setup in this video, a $80-$100 setup is sometimes all you need to get the same quality as a $150 setup. Support small companies and save more.
Which would you say are the top notch wheels and tuning?

Top notch tuning: Dislocation, bracelet bushings, backer bushings, levelup.
Does tuning include tape? if yes: Sponser me tape, fbs, blackvelvet
These are basically the best you can get without any issues (with the product, joycult and lab shipping and customer service is kinda bad)

You can bc they’re great starter decks but I would honestly recommend getting some nice grip tape (like rip tape or fbs grip tape) and then some bearing wheels (teak wheels would honestly be perfectly fine for just starting out) and putting them on your tech deck

I mean I don’t really want to spend more on a fingerboard than on my actual skateboard so can you do a top 5 best fingerboards on a budget?
my favorite decks are poli decks, those are abt $40 and for the other parts id say get some of those 32mm $10 china trucks and china wheels, the total should come out to be abt $57 plus shipping
Idk why everyone says that bc I got some Berlin wood & blackriver completes and they were like $120 each and my actual skateboard cost like $150 in total so no they don’t cost more than an actual skateboard setup

Use zip tie and double sided tape
Tech decks 2020 performance series, in my opinion closes the gap in the market. with the 12 usd dollar price tag its more worth it and better if not just as good quality than most “budget” fingerboard completes. In conclusion, with this new 2020 series of wooden teck decks its not worth it to buy anything else but to go all out on blackrivers complete

For anyone new, woobs won't cost $40... you are usually paying upwards of $200. So just understand that if you want a woob price is a huge barrier compared to other decks

I’ve ordered from teak twice, one pack of grip and bubble bushings, the grip was absolutely terrible and the bubble bushings wouldn’t fit on my kingpin because they are too tall which made it impossible to put on my locknut. Eventually I got them on but tbh I don’t know if teak is worth the time in general

@@daniellovejr9438 Teak decks are ok. If you have a teak deck and a Berlin wood deck in each hand you can definitely feel the difference. Berlin Wood feels soo much nicer and better quality. But if you’re just starting out or if it’s all you can afford they’re great starter decks 👌🏻
