    In this adventure I team up with Urbex Indigo and we explore this old decaying farm house in the countryside of Outback South Australia.This was a day of extreme fog and it reminded us of what it would be like in the countryside of the UK. So sit back and enjoy this episode of Werner's Adventures.

    It might have been cold but the fog gives the right atmosphere to this place. A lot of this video looks like a landscape painting. ⚓

    This one feels just like a dream Werner, it seems they left long long ago. Having electricity seems so out of place there.
    You's may not have thought this at the time but you's had an absolute beautiful day for an explore and it's a good one.

      Hey John thanks so much for the super thanks 🤩 this was definitely one of the coolest ones with all that thick fog first time I’ve ever seen that mate. And they probably might of left that old home in the 70s as there is no signs of life, even those old rusted speakers go back to the early 60s probably coming out of an old radiogram. Cheers mate glad you enjoyed this episode, and John you will love next weeks explore it’s a old farm home that’s an absolute time capsule, stay tuned for that one😊

    At all the abandoned farm houses i always have a small mob of sheep to fire proof the area for summer. Unfortunately if the sheep find a way to get inside the dwelling they trash the place .

      @@wernersadventures8330 cheers werner. Could you mention to explorers to shut doors and especially if there is a cover across the entrance to put them back up to stop the sheep getting in.. it's happened to me twice .one property next to the mallee highway. 7 rams died in a room and I had the door wired shut.

    G'day..
    Great find Werner.. Those poor old dead radiador pines.. one has just collapsed at mums. Soooo old.
    No skeletons hidden in the stone tank stand..
    Things used to get hidden in walls of old places.. Old sheering stands...
    A lot of stones in those buildings..
    Lovely..
    Bye.

    So different to Qld. When they built that old girl and surrounding buildings they certainly went to town. The style of that house is pretty nice. Even the tank stand was stone built. There must have been more rock than trees about. Even the chimney is designed rather than just functional.
    I don't know your area so perhaps you can explain to me what is happening. These were obviously land worker houses. I get the reduction in their numbers that lead to these properties being empty. But in today's tight times for money with rents so high, some of these buildings you look at could be generating income. Are these houses very remote. A lot look to be in lovely locations, why aren't farmers renting them out. Some are too far gone, but others wouldn't take much. Is it just the location.

    • @wernersadventures8330
      @wernersadventures8330  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Dave so many of the homes get used for storage, farm equipment etc. and they also fall into disrepair so it would take a lot of money to fix them up. But in saying that mate I’ve been to a hand full where it would take much to get someone living in them. I’ve actually encountered a few that look abandoned and run down and there is folks still living in them. Hey Dave I’m glad you enjoyed this episode cheers for watching 😀😃
