We didn’t abandon old farm houses we inherited when we expanded our station property so seeing tyres there tells me they have no need for the house as we used to store whatever in these houses like a shed. That’s a nice looking place though. I always think about what it be like in its hay day
Hi Werner, Notified 20hrs later but at least i got it. I really enjoy going on these adventures with you cause i wouldnt get to see them other wise..This 1 reminds me of my late Aunty's place. Metal- Tin ceiling, glass around the front door. Brought back memories, fruit cake that was always ready with a cup of tea for visitors or family..The kitchen was the hub of the house but visitors were taken into the dining room, which had a fire burning, all the comforts of home..Stay Safe from a Tassie Fan ❤️🙏👍🤗

What a beautiful home it would've been back in the day! So much character, unlike modern pre-fab houses. Whenever I watch these videos, I always wonder who lived there, what their lives were like and why they left. So much history rotting away 😢
Hey Sue there would have been a few generations of families living in this old girl and it’s sad to see them going to waste. Now they decay and used for storage this was the case with this beauty. Glad you enjoyed the video cheers😀
Immediately rewatched after the livechat. Not much sign of family life in this one, that must've been decades ago, it's all storage now. 8:01 Odd how the colorful little room with the bright yellow fireplace and a few letters on the wall was empty of contents in comparison to most the other rooms, kinda like it's sacred to someone. The original house would have been quite a build. Three chimneys and the stone brick combo. Pretty good looking house. Then added to with unimaginative tin extensions spoiling the look. Now some farmer's dump for tyres to save paying for disposal. Love the drone footage.
Hey Dave yes so many of them are for storage I guess the farmers still have to pay land rates unless it has no roof then it’s decayed to the elements. It definitely was a nice looking home and would of been even better in the bygone era cheers Dave glad you enjoyed the video 😊😊

Perfectly good houses are still being abandoned in rural Australia,increasing the sense of dispair and isolation for those that try and stay.The main cause,the sickening greed of superannuation corporations.With your money ,they buy up the farm land,boast how they have increased land value' s ,then bulldoze all the fence's and anything in the way and burn it.I utterly loath the lowlife's .
