I hate it but otherwise you can wait hours to get in if you don't sign up early. the summer isn't bad getting up early but I won't do it in the winter and sit in the car for 4 hours. I don't go home because sometimes its 4 hours of driving back and forth. the thrift stores here are awful so estate sales are the only place to source.
@@ReadySetResell Although, if I remember right, I watched an unboxing of a "bag of random coins" ebay purchase done by a coin reseller and he got some and said something like "2000 years old, not worth much at all"= it's some weird class of very old but very common thing. BTW- the takeaway of the unboxing was that it was a slight scam. It promised gold, got gold leaf.

I have been thrifting since 2018 and had never seen this brand until this month. I picked up an enamel strainer with a lid. Even though there was some enamel loss to the lid, I was able to sell it for a gross profit of $75.00! Keep up the great work and thanks for the BOLO!
It’s your TH-cam channel you can do whatever you want but I personally like the voice overs through the hunt cuz it gives me an insight of what’s going on and I can learn a little bit about something I don’t know and it’s entertaining lol

I really dislike the number system at estate sales. A lot of estate sales around me allow customer generated numbers... meaning the first person their is #1 and they hand out the numbers. It's dumb. One time my brother didn't realize that so several people got to go in front of him in line, even though he was there before them.
Actor George Clooney said recently on a talk show that he has been cutting his own hair for years using a Flowbee. Maybe the price since then has gone up!
Before you take them to the exchange make sure they are still good. Some coins will have zero value there. Those are no longer used because the country or the EU devalued them to make new ones.
I would recommend finding a coin dealer. They can let you know what the value of the coins are. Those really old one are roman coins. Not sure if they are real or not, but they are finding more of them everywhere so their value has gone down.

Those early bird lists are incredibly annoying. We deal with them in the craft beer industry for brewery releases and there is always something sketchy going on. Roper does very well for me, especially if it has pearl snaps. The pattern you got will obviously sell great. Would have been some heat if it had the snaps as well.

Welcome to NC the good old boys club is alive and well there. I lived in NC for around 20 years and it is definitely a place where you have to know someone to get stuff done. Estate sales yes. Normally I pay with CC at them and when I don’t most companies give you a receipt anyways. Garage sales no but, you can write your own for the sale.

I have to sign up by 5 am to get into a 9 am estate sale in MA so I have to get up at 4 am. they only let in 10 at a time

It really depends on the items. But generally I don’t really drive more then 45 min to anything. And it has to be worth it.
