I wonder if that estate sale company that’s putting those extremely high prices on everything there will later after the estate sale is over offer or already has an offer in place to buy everything that is not sold and probably has booths all over the state. I bet there is something like that going on there.
Kayla, you can remove burnt cooking stains or built up grime on saucepans by using a solution of dry cooking salt or rock salt and a dry cloth. You gently rub the stain and it works beautifully. Hope this helps.

Estate sale companies act like they don't want to sell anything. Such ridiculous pricing on 90% of the items.
Don't know if u know about bakalite. It's a plastic from 40s and 50s 60s 70s. Very valuable. Saw u walk right by it

Some great finds. Wish we had those types of yard& Estate sales here. I have found good will but even those aren't great. You find the right sales and score. There IS an art to this and you're a pro! I had a store before and had one of those globes... don't even ask what I sold it for and it was the regular full size globe 🫣. Each inlay is the gemstone from whatever that particular area is known for. They are often given for graduation gifts. Cool piece. You should keep it as you transition to this next chapter in your world. Keep doing you girl, nice job!
That slab of polished rock you picked up is petrified wood and is known as Rainbow Wood or Arizona Wood and can bring good money
I don't know if this was the video or not, but it was an Estate Sale where you ran to the Polly Pockets and I believe to the left was a "Mushroom Chair" worth hundreds so thought I'd let you know in case your not into vintage 70's Mushroom Chairs as they can be extremely valuable and I'm almost sure that's what it was sitting to the left of the big bin you were going through for Polly Pockets. Just FYI

WOW...They had that rocking chair priced super high!!
Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE those chairs!! They are the most comfortable hardwood you'll ever sit on, hands down! The way it contours the your body is a skill few possess & is the epitome of perfection in the modern day woodworking furniture practice using old school techniques!!
I have an almost identical rocker (obviously, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same because they're handmade with whatever local branches are found to make them, meaning each one is unique).
My doctors office is in the middle of Amishville & some of his patients have paid their medical bills by bartering with items like these handmade rocking chairs. My nurses know to put me in one of the 3 rooms that have these chairs because it's the only comfortable seat in the place. Every other seat triggers my fibromyalgia and I leave completely kinked up & out of whack.
Mine was made locally by the Amish too & I paid $85. And I actually overpaid because I got into a bidding war at the auction & I was determined that that chair was going home with me that night! 😆

I did that auction bidding war thing 1 other time for a circular wrought iron glasstop coffee table. It has a raised top with a clock in it. Absolutely beautiful! I love it!! I think I ended up paying $100 for that? Afterwards, the other bidder who was an older lady came up & asked me, "Out of curiosity, how high were you willing to go on that table I was bidding on against you?" I told her that I fell in love with the table as soon as i saw it & was willing to spend up to $250 on it, which is what I had brought with me that night, plus break out the credit card if necessary. She said she wouldn't have gone anywhere near that high & wish she would've known beforehand so she could have saved me some money. I thought that was incredibly sweet!!
When you find that item that calls to you, if you can afford it, get it! Don't live with buyers remorse!!! You never know if you'll find it again!
And that stand @ the 10:56 mark is gorgeous!!

Oh my sweet Kayla. I was so excited to see your new video this morning. My neighborhood is having a community wide garage sale so I've already been out and shopped. I see something and feel like I have a little bird on my shoulder named Kayla telling me to buy it or not. I just bought some Revereware last week in great condition for $5 for 3 skillets and 2 sauce pots with lids. It was a great score. I hope you're doing well and I just love all of your videos and surely don't miss any of them.

I saw the kalifano globe and screamed pick it up !!! I collect them , my 15. Lapis pen set globe is worth 800. I'm no selling ! These are works of art ,also have big platters of his .
I got one of those turtle lamps for $2 at a yard sale and sold it for $40. One of my first sales as an eBay “reseller.”

Hey! This is the first video I saw of yours and I subbed right away. I really like the way you explain things, put up comps as you are showing thw item and comparing the prices and also saying how much it is etc. Makes it really interesting to someone like myself that doesn't get the value on certain items...oh yeah...and talking yourself out of impulse items lol. I used to go to estate sales and auctions with my mother in law in Kentucky and Tennessee when I was living in the south before moving here in California..🤗💓🌷Thanks for sharing..I still do this from time to time when I have the chance..

I found one of those inlay mandolin music boxes the other day. I was surprised they weren't worth more because they are so beautiful.
I help a local estate sale facilitator who will price some stuff but not every single towel and wash cloth. In fact, she generates a greater profit pricing on the fly and bundling than when she prices the majority of stuff.
I have gotten spoiled just watching your show I'm amazed at how you make such good deals I really love watching you on this show doing all these good deals that you find spoiled by your show thank you for sharing
I keep 3 large Longaberger baskets in my trunk for estate sales. They hold a ton and you don’t have to walk around with your hands full.

That's the worst part about watching reseller sourcing videos. Especially when they're at the Goodwill bins. I always seem to either see something I want personally, or something that they didn't buy that I would have bought to flip. 😂
Those turtle lights use to be like $15 brand new in the late 90's. Definitely not worth $45
Nice little haul there. I'll be keeping an eye out for some salt and pepper shakers like that. lol They had some neat things but, too pricey. You did good with the things you picked up. I thought the same thing about the red leather outfit. Would love to see the person that wore that back in the day. Never seen red leather chaps before. My late husband was a musician and had black ones that he wore on stage. But, the red is something else. Thanks for taking me shopping with you on this rainy day.

I can't believe you can leave your things just sitting there. Here in S. Fla. you could tell the wife your putting your items next to where they're sitting and come back and the husband has sold your finds. I've found if I don't carry everything with me..more than likely it will be gone. I lost a box of old baseball cards that way once..never made that mistake again. Its nice to see there are still some honest people still out there.

So last month I went to an estate sale. Looked up a fly reel for comps. Looked up the wrong model. Lucky for me I got it as it was the last day. Paid $45 for my pile. Got home found my mistake. On worthpoint the last one sold last June for $125.
U guys are one of two channels that I NEVER miss...the other is not a seller...Alana Fine Restaurant Stories..her site just hit enough views/subscribers that TH-cam gave her a special framed plaque...and u deserve one more! I'd like to SUBSCRIBE to u if it helps u, but I'm totally unversed in computer usage and don't know how to do that! Just keep on doing what ur doing, cos ur the best out there, IMO!!

It looked like a meat server fork. Times were bent to give it purpose, perhaps a place card holder. This has been a popular DIY idea for quite a long while.

The bent wood rocking chair in the LR was straight up retail new pricing, I sell them in my gift shop in the Smokies. Some pricing was Crazy!
Some people may thinks its gross but i love buying good quality towels from estate sales i see no difference a towel from a friends house, hotel or hospital, i bleach, hot wash and high heat dry them. I got a stack of Nautica towels for 2 bucks a piece

Our bulldog doesn't look like that any longer so I dont know how old that was but it was ooooollllldddd. Our college started 80 years before the civil war. They shut down for three years during that war. Because everyone had to go fight.... The footbal team came along in 1891 ....How Bout Them DAWGS...

I don't get estate sales there's just something about people picking through a house that I can't get down with put it out on tables in a garage or in the yard there's just something about strangers in a house that feels invasive to me but that's just me.

That globe is called a gem globe. Gems from all over the world
The rocker that you thought was nice at this estate sell was a Handmade Amish Rocking Chair. About 35 years ago I bought one straight from the Amish and it was $225. If you would have flipped it over there should’ve been a signature on the bottom with the name of the actual Amish person who made the rocker, and they also have an identifier number as well on them, in case you have any problems with it. VERY good quality and sturdy. Mine is as good as the day I bought it. Bummer. 😳😭 I was sitting in my living room hollering BUY IT … BUY IT!!! 😂
Those were alot of retail prices on those items. I'll go back on Sunday afternoon, and buy the whole estate out for a few dollars.

There were some cute things at the Estate sale, but definitely Estate sale prices, for the most part. I've found in past that prices at Estate sales are usually on the higher side where as garage sales, many don't look up prices or just want stuff gone.
