oh my, I hadn’t even noticed that (forgot about it), but true. The events are so much fun, not just for us, but you can feel the characters enjoying themselves too. It feels very natural. Hoyo games are really behind, the last event in Genshin that I genuinely loved was a summer event more than two years ago 🗿
I think for me one of the main reason Sekai stands above a lot of other gacha games is that I never feel like I'll fall behind if I don't pull. This is not just a sekai thing, but a rhythm gacha thing as far as I can tell. A lot of gacha games constantly up their level and new kits are better than old ones, personally that takes me out of it because I feel like I have to choose between what I want and what I need, and whatever I choose sooner or later I'll fall behind again. I've played multiple rhythm gachas over the years and rarely felt that way (only exception is sifas which I would not call a rhythm game.) While these games don't tend to be chart topping next to games that have a more "impactful" presence, I find them to be a lot more kinder to casual players, doing enough to keep themselves going without asking the player for more than they already do.
Honestly when I started proseka after dropping genshin (burnout and no space) it was baffling to me that I could read all events. Because my favorite character was Fischl, who was added in 1.1 and I didn't immediatly start the game but instead ignored it for over half a year, which meant I completely missed out on her introduction because of the event. Therefore when all event stories in proseka ever were available, it felt like a jackpot. But also ig that it's more important in project sekai since it's more important here. Still nice they aren't using insane amounts of fomo so we waste several hours grinding and doing stories lest an event we care about starts.
I would say another game is Reverse 1999. Great storytelling, great gacha (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? TAKES ONLY 140 PULLS TO GUARANTEE A CHARACTER-), the combat is a fun strategy one that is also turn based, and IT HAS DIVERSE ACCENTS, CHARACTERS (ok maybe they’re all from different parts of Europe and America and the occasional Asian and Indian nvm) AND LANGUAGES?! HAVE YOU GUYS HEARD THE ENGLISH DUB?! I’m excited for the day they will release an Arab character, wonder how their accent and dress would be But if you play the game you will hereby get traumatized by oranges and storms. Edit: And I just remembered, but many of the characters end up joining the main team, making them relevant to the next story, and on and on
i keep forgetting to play it since i saw a sponsor of reverse 1999 once and thought it looked cool. i can never get dedicated to gacha games tho, especially if i quit on pjsk
MAN. WHY MUST YOU REMIND ME OF HER... SCHNEIDER 😭😭 also wanna add for the gacha part, I believe all 6*s other than the anniversary are gonna get added to the standard banner, it takes a few patches before being added, totally a win win game. tho it's just a hunch but most probable considering the amount of meta chars are actually there🎉
i raise you punishing: gray raven. 60 pulls, rate-up character GUARANTEED. no 50/50. plus and absolute banger of a storyline, outstanding character development (characters are constantly growing and changing even 5 years after launch), ON TOP OF the fast-paced combat that never gets old, and the fire soundtrack? absolute icon, it's so sad to me that it's so unknown. (three words to traumatize the whole fandom: the surviving lucem.) note: i really love r1999 also, (my fave characters are lucy and J!!) but pgr is my favorite gacha ever (and one of my favorite video games ever) and i think it needs more love
140 pulls? Make it 60 with 100% guarantee so there's no 50/50 nonsense and you get Punishing Gray Raven, whose sound track, characters and lore will blow you away
idk abt pity but crystals are ok since the pjsk farming method works fluid and you'll never find yourself stuck to save 60k. if you farm, in two weeks you can have 60k-90k, but anyway it keeps being a lucky gacha system, and its pretty balanced even without pity. people who only farms up to 10k-15k (like me, mostly casual players) get fairly good cards with those crystals, because guarenteed is not really needed in pjsk gachas. lets also not forget about the special gacha tickets, where if you didnt obtain the card you wanted even when you reached the guarenteed OR you were close to reach the guarenteed, you can use those tickets to buy the card, which complements the crystals very well. pd its just like every game with a gacha system, you just have to farm. at least pjsk is easy to handle without spending real money and not so stressful if you arent a super addicted gamer
Gacha isn’t really needed in every gacha rhythm game I come across since you can unlock all song and complete everything without spending a single penny or doing a single gacha. The amount of pity is quite standard for a gacha rhythm game. Andddd… as an end game player, I can say that 1 event guarentees you to do at least 10 pulls, so you could hit guarentee if you save up for around 6-8 months (a long time yea, but remember that you don’t need them)
You only need to do gacha if you want to tier for an event. For non tierers, the gacha is pretty much just to collect pretty illustration for your favorite character
i’m very scared that project sekai will be like roblox sorta. start off being pure gold and awesome and then turn into a dumpster fire with the creators not caring about us anymore.
According to reliable sources, the story of Project Sekai will end in two years. So, if you’re worried about anything related to the story, you can relax, as I doubt anything will go wrong given how things are progressing. Or is something else on your mind?
@@WhiteHorsePrince What will happen when the story ends...? Will they just shutdown the game??? I hope not, I want to keep playing it, even with no story... Do you think they'll make one last offline patch?
@@chich-ai It'll probably be the same case as Honkai Impact. The servers won’t shut down, and the game will continue running, but the main story will already be finished. They might release some kind of spin-off or something like that, but they never shut down the servers that quickly, don't worry
i honestly think that rythm gacha games top normal gacha games cuz wtf i literally like just started a new ACC for bandori(cuz i lost my old one T-T)AND I ALREADY HAVE 3 5 STARS AND ONE OF THEM IS A CHARACTER I REALLY LIKE TOO??!?!?AND I HAVE 4 STARS FOR BASICALLY ALL MY FAVES IN EACH BAND ALREADY WHEN I JUST STARTED THE NEW ACC LIKE 3 WEEKS AGO(the characters are misaki[the five star one]rei, rinko, and saaya btw i still don't have 4 stars for maaya, nanami and tsugumi tho so T-T but knowing my luck in my new ACC ill prob get them soon)(also for some reason arisa loves me way too much i have a 5 star of her 2 4 stars of her and 1 3 star of her😭😭)
My favorite thing about prsk honestly is that like. Look at this beautiful art. Listen to these fun stories. Listen to these amazing covers. And I get this all for free??
i don't think ill ever get sick of prsk and i could probably rant about it forever omg. rant warning i apologize i used to be a huge genshin fan i started playing in 1.6 and got burnout in sumeru, then quit when fontaine got released. it was so mentally draining for me. to compare it to prsk, i tiered for bms on the en server not too long ago back in mid oct and i think i spent around 67 hours plaiyng in that time period, even after that tiering chaos i continued to play 2-3 hours w/ friends daily or just random coop out of boredem. i didn't get burnout at all which was so insane to me because of my past experiences with hoyo games.. i really do agree with you that prsk balances every game aspect so much better than any other gacha game, its perfect. they do it so well that sometimes people just don't notice enough how amazing prsk is of a game PEOPLE NEED TO APPRECIATE THI S GAME MORE!!!!! oh and the prsk stories?!?!? i can say i def prefer their storywriting over so many other games.. the stories are so relateable and impactful, i have a hhhuuugggee attatchment to everyone they mean sosososo mujch to me its crazy. i've spent countless hours reading the stories and i can say 100% this game has made me smile and cry at the same time SO MANY TIMES man i can't even pick a favorite they're all so great BUT HONORABLE MENTION TO MIZU5 mizuki has the best trans representation i have eeverrrrr seen in my whole life. i actually cried so hard reading mizu5 because i went through very very similar experiences as her that was so insane dude. also the cards. the art is so amazing. it's one of the main things that pulled me into playing the game when i first started, its really beautiful and i could stare at them for hours and hours nonstop. my number one favorite has to be world link akito i might be a little biased towards akito but thats okay because its akito. anyway, there are so many other things i could mention like the amazing 3dmvs/2dmvs, the gameplay, but one more thing i wanna say are the voice actors. you are so right when you mentioned that voice acting (and other elements) are so important to immerse yourself into the game, because it really is. the voice actors are amazing. apart from the voice acting in the stories, the emotions they converse through their singing is one of the best things i've ever heard in my life. im looking at you ultra c. engeki. regulus. they're so powerful, it's so meaningful. its beautiful anyway theres my rant this game cured my depression frfr
i really like project sekai from what you can tell by looking at my pfp (shizuku hinomori is best girl). pjsk is one of those games that has a charm with it, you can love all the groups in pjsk but you will always be one group that grabs your heart the most and for me that is more more jump. unlike some gacha games (more in the rhythm game genre) the characters can be relatable and very diverse in some ways such as mizuki being lgbtq, saki having a medical condition, emu being the daughter of a billionaire, an being a barista at her father's coffee shop, etc. what makes me love this game a lot is the stories, the characters, beautiful cards, and lots of really good bangers. i used to be a hardcore bandori player when the game used to have it's own charm before going down hill in recent times, i also used to love, og love live school idol festival before it got shut down but the gameplay was hard and the same for love live school idol festival all stars since it wasn't really a rhythm game. i also used to be a d4dj fan and player, but what made the game feel like a turn off with me is how they kept adding characters and it just got to be too much plus i didn't care for gameplay either. so pjsk wins in the rhythm game genre along with being in the gacha genre too. what also makes me feel better about pjsk is how they're ran by sega and sega is one of those chill gaming companies where they don't care if you make mods, fan games, and pirate it like their sonic games, so with that being said it's proably why pjsk is so good too. but also the fact they dropped the rates making it easier to get a 4 star in pjsk was epic bc i was able to get my best girl shizuku hinomori, haruka, and airi as 4 stars on the en server! pretty amazing and i am so happy to have all of mmj as 4 stars to use as a group for grinding events. however though pjsk isn't innocent as it had a controversy with an event in the past that i don't think ever made it to worldwide at least en server, but right now they're having controversy with the new event on jp bc they're romanticizing a time period in japan where man korean have hard feelings about and it's upsetting korean pjsk fans and even international fans into world history as well. but overall a very solid game and i like how there is very little to no sexualization as well that a lot of other rhythm and gacha games tend to do a lot.
Back before I started playing pjsk i was a HUGE genshin addict, i always played it whenever i had the chance too. The gacha system was terrible though, they were also very greedy at the time. I get grateful whenever they give me so very little gems. I didn't get why people were mad at 20 pulls for the anniversary, since as an almost f2p it was alot. But when i started playing pjsk i was confused. Why did i get so many good stuff for free😭?? The gacha system is also good, and the grind isnt as hard as genshins.
I have found that many Gacha games forget that they are not a casino. I have quit all Gacha games besides project Sekai and cookie run kingdom. I will return to Genshin when furina gets more spotlight
You did not do the whole ass Bakemonogatari intro for a video about ProSeka 😭😭 Nay, the whole Bakemonogatari EDITING I have respect and you have earned a subscription simply for that
Thanks! I was so glad when I finished editing it. I’d never felt so confident about sending a thumbnail to my friends for feedback, and they were like “WOOO THIS ONE IS FIRE YOUR BEST ONE SO FAR”
Is Pjsk the best gacha game ? Maybe ( it’s my personal favourite) . But does it have the best gacha system? Not really….. A big part of any gacha game is the gacha ( which I feel was glossed over ) and Pjsks has many flaws . For me , the big ones are the no guarantee, the extremely confusing system, no pity carry over ( or at all for some banners ) and annoying ( and possibly predatory) paid crystal system
I just read the title and i must say that the gacha part of the game itself is so horrible unfair to old players (and new players when they completed the mainstory and beginner content)in terms of gems
Honestly this video is rather biased I should say. Even though I agree with everything you said and don't get me wrong I love project sekai it's one of my fav games but honestly I see a lot of flaws compared to genshin at least. The biggest one is gacha itself.. I heard sooooo many hate and complain in genshin community about their gacha while it's actually very understandable, simple, direct gacha. While in project sekai.... I've been playing for around 2 years and I still didn't understand properly all the types of gachas and how they work.... I tried to look it up a lot of times and gave up in the end... The only thing I understood is that there's purely paid gachas and free ones and that there's special gachas on big occasions like anniversary and there's birthday gachas.. And also that if you want to get a certain card you need to have at least 200 pulls (better 300). Isn't that a little too much??? Especially considering just how MANY cards are there in game... While in genshin you need max 90 wishes for guarantee(usually 70 even). And there's pity system where your wishes until getting a 5 star transfer to the next banner and a there's a guarantee system. While in projct sekai no guarantee system (you can only buy your card for 200-300 pulls) no pulls transfer.. And banner lasts 3 times less! And to get crystals to pull you (aside from ongoing events) need to play songs on different levels and if you have skill issue you get no crystals... While in genshin you can run around, gather chests, do quests and get primogems no matter how bad your party is. And well honestly there's a lot of water in events, most of the time there's barely anything happening and characters just hang out together.. For example the bunny event with Shiho and Shizuku... What happened there? Nothing. Shiho just remembered her time with sister.. And event where Emu, Ena and Honami had to draw for kindergarten? They were just silly drawing together and in the end they came to the conclusion that Honami's art is fine as it is.. And basically didn't fix her problem, ppl still laugh at her and she still feels bad.
I would argue you are extremely biased yourself. I fail to see how Project Sekai's gacha is any less easy to grasp than Genshin's in any way (and in terms of how generous--I'd say both are predatory lmao that's what gachas are at their core and I'd make a case Sekai's is pretty garbage by all means too). What's to note though is that unlike Genshin, you will mainly pull for cards because you like the artwork more than their gameplay use--unless you love Ichika, there's actually no actual use in pulling for more than one Ichika with a certain attribute unless you want a barely-better skill that doesn't matter if you're extremely casual, which most players are, whereas in Genshin, oftentimes there's just no alternatives if you want a specific character or create a specific team, whereas in Sekai, there's an outrageous amount of leniency anout it in that you really don't even have to pull for every single card or every single one even for your favs, cuz obviously the point here is that spending money makes the process much easier lol (no one expects you to pull every single Genshin 5s--same idea), but yeah Sekai's gacha is NOT one of its boons imo. As for the story... Yeah, I mean Slice of Life is a genre? A story doesn't need to have huge stakes every single time, and the examples you used are obviously mixed events with most of them being simple fluff for nice interactions (which... is something Genshin, and ever single other gacha with a proper story, does too). I do think saying Proseka is the only gacha with a storyline this extensive and developped is kind of an exaggeration and well, labeling a game as the best mobile gacha is both subjective and in reality not a real indicator of how good a game is, but I really don't think your counter-arguments particularly highlight any less bias on your part compared to the person behind the video.
@kaga-san7012 i play casual jp since day 2 & genshin since klees 1 banner aka also day2 and i can tell you that i got almost all the characters in genshin that i want and in sekai.... Tsukasa ,Rin and Depri miku are my Favorite characters and i got my first 4 stars of em THIS YEAR ,not a single Rin or Minori and like 20 Kaitos, Ichikas ,Meikos, Airis and Ichika again. Dont get me wrong i dont dislike these characters but this is such a huge difference
im simple. i see the word peak with an arrow pointing towards tsukasa. i click
lol same
It needed to be him....... he's the star of my thumbnail.

This game is amazing and def my favorite out of all rhythm gacha games. The only problem is how greedy they are, but it comes with the territory
it's mainly EN too lol

You did not do the whole ass Bakemonogatari intro for a video about ProSeka 😭😭
Nay, the whole Bakemonogatari EDITING
I have respect and you have earned a subscription simply for that
i see tsukasa and project sekai, i know its a good video
This both summoned the Pjsk fan in me and the Project Moon fan in me
Now you cooked. I plan to play Project Moon games soon
Tbh the only bad part is that they don’t explain how to get gacha tickets and the paid gems
yess
Amazing video !
I hate and love this game at the same time
I like the thumbnail!
Thanks! I was so glad when I finished editing it. I’d never felt so confident about sending a thumbnail to my friends for feedback, and they were like “WOOO THIS ONE IS FIRE YOUR BEST ONE SO FAR”
Pjsk is peak and all the cards are beautiful but my luck is still missing
thank you...
Game had me at Hatsune Miku, not gonna lie.
Now it owns me
Is Pjsk the best gacha game ? Maybe ( it’s my personal favourite) . But does it have the best gacha system? Not really….. A big part of any gacha game is the gacha ( which I feel was glossed over ) and Pjsks has many flaws . For me , the big ones are the no guarantee, the extremely confusing system, no pity carry over ( or at all for some banners ) and annoying ( and possibly predatory) paid crystal system
is the intro a monogatari reference 😎
i love project sekai
The bakemonogatari editing .....peak..
Bro knows monogatari, has tsukasa tenma as pfp and his @ is from mahoutsukai no yoru. PEAK......
@@WhiteHorsePrince do you have Twitter man I'll follow you there
@@WhiteHorsePrince of course I would know peak...truly..
still can't play it on iphone :(
1:24 What about colorful pallate?
Colorful Palette was from CraftEgg when the game was released and created
did bro get paid to make this video (dont get me wrong i play pjsekai myself and like it)
I just read the title and i must say that the gacha part of the game itself is so horrible unfair to old players (and new players when they completed the mainstory and beginner content)in terms of gems
I feel this 100% 😢
I would argue you are extremely biased yourself.
