They may not all be blood related, but they are family to each other. They are the family Bruce built for himself. Bruce would be proud of how much they’ve grown. It’s hard living in a world with Batman gone, but together they will keep his legacy strong. Neither Teen Titan, or Outsider, or Young Justice, they are always a Bat-Family member. Gotham is indeed in Good Hands.
"Chosen family" is a concept that has kept me fascinated for many years. I never had the best relationship with my parents and blood sibling, since I grew up in a household where one or both parents worked full time and my sibling lives with significant (mental) disability. I didn't make my first long time friends until college, and I'm still reluctant to call them for help since I'm used to relying on myself for comfort, with or without years of therapy, mental health work, or medication to supplement. Maybe one of the reasons I gravitate towards Batman rather than other heroes is I see myself as a "one man army, taking on a world always against me" as well... and yet, I give greatly of myself and my resources to others to ensure they don't go through the loneliness, the helplessness, the fear that I did. Alfred is very lucky to have four intelligent and capable "grandchildren", personally trained by his "son" to protect the city that they all called home.
I'm a fan of Batman. But the Bat-Family aspect of his character and how his crusade inspired others to join him until he built a family after years of being alone is what made him one of my favorite characters in all of media.

Gotta say, I love these character interactions even though Barbara's performance feels a bit awkward. Why couldn't that level of effort go into the gameplay?
Literally 95% of her line deliveries are just so stilted and artificial. Nightwing sounds the most natural. Red Hood and Robin are passable. But Batgirl...like people gave Arkham Knight Oracle a hard time when they kept comparing it to Asylum and City Oracle, and I get it, but Oracle in Arkham Knight was still good. Here though, it's just...eugh. I don't know if it's poor direction or if America Young just wasn't the right fit. This was a common complaint when we first heard her in the gameplay reveal over 2 YEARS AGO. Nice to know nothing was done about it.
