It really feels like Nightwing has come a very long way, from his time as the very first Robin, to his current adult self: Nightwing, all the way up to this poibt
Gotham Knights is really like the tmnt. Nightwing can be Leo, Batgirl can be Donnie, Red Hood can be Raph, and Robin can be Mikey. Last but not least Batman can be Master Splinter.
Nightwing is eldest member of the Bat family if you don't count Alfred. He's strong, he's athletic, he's humorous at times, but like Jason, Grayson can have difficulties revealing how he feels about things. It's not just in the game either. In Young Justice, it took him a while to open up about how much he misses Wally West after he died. I know what that's like, trying to hold everything in and trying everything you can think of not to screw things up, but things end up that way anyway, but I also know that holding your feelings in does no one any good. Dick had to grow up a little in the game and overcoming those stumbling blocks makes him a great knight.
Though I doubt they’ll make a sequel to this game, if they did, this I would want the story/Plot of the game to be: -A year has gone by since the death of Batman, and although the knights have done their best to keep the peace in Gotham, it’s getting harder everyday. However, Gotham suddenly becomes a battleground for some of Batman’s greatest villains all fighting for control over the city with Batman gone, with a hidden figure pull their strings. Still trying to live up the Batman legacy, the knights band together again to defeat the villains and discover the true mastermind behind them
Yeah, a sequel would be good! I think this game lacked villains tbh. I know we had Harley and Mr Freeze etc, but they were only 30-minute story arcs, so they didn't feel too important. The main story were the Owls and Talia. It really felt like something was missing.
@@MissableContent So the Villains would be know as the Evil Eight (spin off of the Sinister 6) they would consist of: The Riddler, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Firefly, and Bane.

It would have been great if they did a dlc mission where Dick goes on trials to see if he is worthy to become the next Batman and you get the bat suit.
I'm tempted to get this game because NightWing is my favourite superhero. But at the same time its not up to the quality of the arkham games or the insominac spideman games
But at the sme time Leonardo and Nightwong are very different beside their common quality of being responsble. Dick Grayson is an extrovert, and a people person. He has numerous connections in and out of the hero community (where he is trusted by the other capes), and he mentored several young heroes. Leonardo on the other hand is introverted. In various continuities, even in the future he ended up chosing solitude even in circumestances where he could chose othervise (in some continuity he ended up as a lone traveler, or a Buddhist monk etc).
Ok, this was epic. I was kind of familiar with these characters, but now I am really familiar with them. I just can’t believe that Batman still died. 😢 I also can’t believe how alike Bruce and Dick are.
This game is just a piece of crap. Unfinished, unpolished, with tons of grinding, putting player to some restraints and most importantly, they kill Batman just to push his kids as a new defenders of Gotham. And i don't know about others, but for me, those kids was interesting only when Batman was on scene. Without him, they are just nothing. Like, why i wanted to play as Joker in Arkham Asylum, or as Robin or Nightwing in Arkham City? Because Batman was around. But, making a game about Batman without Batman is like taking out a fresh air and replacing it with fart gases. Thus, here is the question: why do you need to kill Batman, when you can simply tell the stories of those kids without killing the Batman, showing how those kids grow and become a team? And then the technical aspect of this game. It looks like a game straight from PS3 era. But that is not my problem with this game because, i have played games that looks a lot more outdated than this. My problem is that, even in consoles, this game has bad performance. Not talking about PC. Cause on PC, it's the same story as with Arkham Knight, back when it was released. It is just a bad game, with tons of bugs and technical problems. And then there is this progression system, when you can't take down some thugs simply because they were a level above yours. Like, come on, WTF? Is this some kind of stupid MMO mobile crap, or is it a big action adventure game, based around popular characters? If it's the last one, then what in the name of god, this bullcrap system are doing in this game??? Thus, i miss the days when, you still have some upgrades system, but you can takedown anyone since the start of a new game. Like take, at least first 3 of Batman Arkham games. Those were literally PERFECT. And here we have Gotham Knights, where you are limited in everything, even in your strength, just because they think that it will make their game better. Well, guess what, IT DID NOT! Other words: this game is just a piece of crap. I don't know, why people are playing it but, as far as Arkham series goes, nothing that came out based on Batman, is even close to the quality of that series.
Open worlds usually involve grinding, and having 4 characters all with there own dialogue and combat moves I think it a decent game. Each to their own I guess.
@@MissableContent I have to disagree because, look at GTA. It does not have grinding. And the currency that you getting inside the game, while playing, you are wasting on in-game stuff, or not wasting at all, if you know the open world of the series, and know, where to find those items for free. Like, take GTA San Andreas for example. I know, it very well. Thus, i know, where to get guns in the game, for free, without buying them. And by the end of the game, i will full with all items that i need. So yeah, you are wrong. Open world games don't need to have grinding and stuff like that, to be a good games.
Only part I agree with you here is making it RPG like instead of Arkham style like. Otherwise, I find all 4 characters amazing and have always wanted stories about them. This wasnt supposed to focus on Batman. It was supposed to focus on the others as it was said so many times. Batman has had enough games made about him.
@@johannsanne5281 Maybe, but they don't have to kill Batman to make a game about his kids. He could still be around as mentor. But they decided to kill him. What a stupid writing.
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 I don't mind it going either way. If Batman was alive all fans would say is give a Batman DLC. I think its a story that resonates with people well. Youre father dies and you go on with life to continue making them proud of what they taught you. Knowing Batman as well, they'll continue being in his shadow if he was alive because not only of his notoriety but also because of his over protectiveness over them. He won't allow most of them to do things alone or even let them get a mission without over-dictating the mission. Only time I remember him mentoring is with Batman Beyond because he got too old. The story could've been way better tbh but Batman as a mentor wouldn't happen if he has the strength to walk. The mission is too important for him to stay back.
As a Nightwing fan I really appreciate your video 😌
