Wow prices and pricing have changed alot since the release of this video. While still searching for my first fpv drone I'm seeing digital models only about $20-40 more than their analog counterparts. I don't want to go straight into digital incase I might not like the fpv side of this hobby. I enjoy watching these videos for their energetic, informative and entertaining content. A can of air, like used to clean computers gets rid of snow after knocking most of the big stuff off. Great video, hope to meet you in person some day, once this covid etc is over.
Other reviewers of this drone complained that the GPS lock the first time took upwards of 5 minutes or more. Also the battery voltage is borked so you can't really tell if you are in danger of damaging it, making flights potentially very expensive even if the drone itself might be relatively cheap.
It is very similar to the FLYWOO EXPLORER, so people who complained about the FLYWOO EXPLORER tossed many of those complaints onto this drone as well. I'll say this. I flew it and as noted in my vid as long as it did what was expected I was happy and I had zero issue flying it indoors or outdoors.
Steve, in your opinion should I return the DJI radio that I currently have (same as yours) and wait for the new DJI radio that's around the corner? I like the different form factor that they appear to coming out with. Great video and range test as well.
ive bought sjrc f11 pro based of your review.i love it.when the weather is good and bright the video quality is very good.its clear and crips.except for the wifi signal is weak after 500m.maybe i need to upgrade my phone..haha

If DIGITAL, that is the receiver, unless you order something different to attach to the existing receiver. So in the vid I flew with the DJI FPV RADIO.

I bought a blue bugs 3 from amazon new for 49.99 USD. I do not remember if you showed that one before, and if you did I know it wasn't under 50 usd when you did it. Just trying to help the people asking for a good $50 drone because it is a solid drone but just not for first timers. First time you likely want something less powerful.
Great review. Although the Nebula V2 is still not nearly as good as the Vista. I own two of the V2's and they are really bad in comparison. Now if you have the Nebula Pro, which I also have that's basically Nebula V3, that one is super awesome and closer to the Vista in clarity. So no on the Nebuka V2, but yes to the Nebula Pro👍🏾
I never flew a FPV drone, i’m curious what is the range on that drone you keep saying it’s a long range Drone ? Also do FPV drones hover in place if u let go of the sticks ? 🤔
FPV drones are not BEGINNER drones, they do not hover in place when joysticks released. Range of the DIGITAL system, out of the box is over 2 miles. If you want to fly a stupid 20 miles then you need to add a Cross Fire system. At the end of the video I put up a notice that beginners should watch my CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS video series if they wish to get into the FPV Hobby. Watch it and you'll be the wiser for it.

But Albert Kim let me know about a 4s Auline battery 1000 mAh sold through Race day Quads pretty cheap that should give you a decent flytime. I haven't flown it yet because of the winter weather. I don't fly outside during the winter months. I got 2 of these because I think they are sold in groups of 2. Seems very light and should give me 15 minutes I hope. I also bought a Flywoo 18650 li-ion pack, 3000 mAh 4s battery for a very long 30+ minutes fly time from Raceday Quads (RDQ) also. I just wouldn't go over 4s to be safe. Not sure how good a 3s battery will do.
Range on an ANALOG drone out of the box, would be under 1 mile (close to a mile but not exactly). Image would be fine because you are looking at it in goggles and you have nothing to compare it to.

Good day CAPTAIN DRONE. This is a follow up message regarding this quad, I purchased the analog version and the GPS never locked on to any satellites, but through some trial and error, I opened the quad and removed the gps wires from the flight controller to the gps unit which is travelling on the carbon frame and under the vtx to the gps unit, and instead, allowed the gps wires to travel freely above the vtx instead, after doing this, I locked on to eight (8) satellites, just some advice for others out there that are experiencing the same problem. There is something about the carbon frame or vtx that prevents the gps from locking onto any satellites. PS: It also takes a few minutes to lock on to satellites.
That is odd for the GPS to not work out of the box. For me I go into Betaflight CLI tab and disengage gps so it has no control over arming. This way I can take off indoors and under trees or near buildings where it is impossible to get a gps signal.

There is always some Jello on the Insta360 go on an FPV drone if you don't place it on something soft to absorb vibrations.... I didn't in this video because the could would have caused everything to freeze. There is jello in the vid, you just have to look closer.

I've done it many times for CAMERA DRONES... lots of such vids. I have never done it for FPV DRONES because a new model seems to come out every two weeks.
Yes there are 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 8s batteries of all shapes and sizes to meet any RC Hobby need. GPS on an FPV drone is called GPS RESCUE. It tells you which way home is as you fly so you don't get lost and if you lose connection or get lost, you flip a switch and the drone comes back in your direction and then you take over.
All depends on your communication setup. Out of the BOX the DIGITAL will go over 2 miles, but if you want to go 20 miles you'd have to configure a CROSSFIRE system, etc.

@@joeonto6903 FPV is a difficult skill to master and since you are asking these questions, my guess is you would be considered a beginner, therefore there is nothing I could recommend since you have to get into the hobby, have gear, etc. You might be better off in the BEGINNER Camera Drone Hobby like DJI, Hubsan, Fimi type drones, so maybe a Hubsan ZINO is what you're looking for.
Out of the box with the DIGITAL system you can easily fly over 2 miles. If you want to fly much farther, like 20 miles, you'd have to update the communication system with a Cross Fire, etc.

Yes I agree the FPV long range Drones equals 10x the fun. being under 250 grams they still fly a lot better in the wind than a normal camera drone.

I used a magnet attached from mini 2 to rescue Mini 1 and lifted it up (Video)

Practice makes perfect. It took me plenty of practice to get super comfortable with FPV drones of any size and power.

Yes, you need DJI FPV Goggles, a radio (probably the DJI FPV radio), batteries, a battery charger.

Most analog drones that are long range (long antenna and powerful transmitter) will get you close to a mile with no mods if flying in an open area.

Turns out that the over saturated Nebula camera is better for Winter snow flying. I actually like the Nebula Video better than I do the Insta Camera!

Hey cap I have 2 flywoo explorer lr. Is the eachine worth switching over or should I wait. I love my flywoo, they fly super smooth
The Shadow Fiend is an alternative to the Explorer for those that want something similar but on a smaller budget.

You play them on your phone in the INSTA360 app, you also edit them there as well. Or, you can download the INST STUDIO and play/edit them there.

I can't recall exactly but it would be standard flight times so on average 6 to 10 mins I suppose.

Out of the box the DIGITAL gets you over 2 Miles. If you want to go a stupid 20 miles you'd then need to use a CROSS FIRE system.

With 2W TBS crossfire over 30km! But goggles will probably loose vision after 6-7 km
Out of the box with the DIGITAL system you can easily fly over 2 miles. If you want to fly much farther, like 20 miles, you'd have to update the communication system with a Cross Fire, etc.
