- Build 1: Diablos Raw
A generalist setup that can clear quite a lot, but isn't as good as element.

| Jyura Greaves
This gives good offensive skills and Focus 3, a nice benchmark to hit. No, the Kulu helmet is not better in this case. Kulu Helm lags behind rathalos at g8 5/5 by 26 effective raw.
Build 2: Jyura Water
Rapid water, and one of two elements that can hit element attack 5.

This set reaches water attack 5. Please do note that Kulu helmet is better for this build by 4 or so effective damage, I just haven't upgraded it. Leather Helm works, too.
Build 3: Anja Fire
A spread bow setup that deals high damage against fire weak enemies.

This set reaches Fire Attack 5. Fire is the strongest element available to Bow, as it allows fire 5, wex 2, and focus 3.
Important note:
Kulu Helm (or Leather Helm) with Crit Eye 1 will beat Rathalos Helm for the Water setup specifically (not the raw setup!). This is because Crit Eye 1 gives 10% affinity which can affect the elemental portion of the weapon (yes, element can crit in MHNow). At G8 1/5, Crit wins by only 4 points of effective damage. As you upgrade more, it will continue to widen the gap.
For the Raw build, the Kulu Helm will almost never beat the Rathalos Helm. +5% Raw is far too tiny an amount, and you will need a ridiculous amount of raw for it to be close. At G10 1/5 Diablos Bow, the Rathalos Helm still pulls ahead by 19 effective raw.
Update: Focus 5 (Pukei/Pukei/Kulu/Rathalos/Jyura) is about 3% better once you reach g8, so use that. For the elemental sets, just replace any crit or atk boost with focus.
Weakness exploit on fire set is still good since you can only gain 5% charge time in that slot instead of 10%

I've seen you comment other places about the rathalos bow now for fire. Which one would you recommend building at the moment? Are the rest of the builds still what you are focusing on, or have you changed some things out?
When will pukei bow drop off and when should I stop upgrading it? Currently at 6 star now and g6 5/5 pukei bow is carrying hard

Bro can u help me what bows to prioritize or use in chronological order? Currently im using kula bow (affinity) is good? Or should i use tobi bow?
Both Kulu Bow and Tobi Bow kinda suck because of their Pierce arrow type. Early game progression I would recommend the Pukei Bow for a spread poison, then you can either just take that straight to Diablos or forge Anja, kill legiana with Anja, forge Legiana, and kill diablos with Anja.
Diablos can be your main bow for a while
@@GoldtisticYT legiana or anja bow for diablos? Yes you are right, im planning to go for diablos, then another sub weapons, 1 water and 1 fire maybe.
@@Jaded1221 use Anja to kill legiana and get the Legi bow, then use the Legi bow to kill Diablos to get the Diablos Bow. If you haven't cleared the main story then those weapons should be strong enough on forge to help you kill the next steps in weapon progression

for Pukei Bow is Blooming Arch right?
I wanna ask does this also apply to longswords? I mean u can change to kulu legs to get crit lvl3 since u do not need focus for longsword
imo elemental bows late game are way better than the diablos one, don’t u think?
Hello i know this isnt bow related but could you help me with what hammer i should be building? not much information out there for hammer. im eventually going to build your rathalos/rathalos/rathlan/rath;an/kulu once i unlock them. Thanks
For hammer, rathalos waist instead of rathalos. You don't really get Burst used.
For your choice of hammer, Diablos is the best generalist raw hammer. But element isn't terrible either, if you get fire or water attack 5. Jyura hammer for water, Anja hammer for fire.
thank you for the advice, since i havent unlocked those large monsters to get diablos what hammer would you recommend me to level up in the mean time? im hr 22 and have jargas,kulu,pukei,barroth,girros, and tobi unlocked. Thanks@@GoldtisticYT

Quick question, what do you think of the Rathian Gaunts? Is that a think or would you recommend Kulu Gaunts?
Burst 2 rathian Vambraces are fine for Spread bow, but Rapid has a hard time activating them and keeping it up.

@@GoldtisticYTAny chance you could make a build for the purpose of allowing the most effortless play (basically minimal dodging and timing and aiming).
To add on to this, basically I want to minimize damage taken but also finish the battle quickly. Basically trying to allow myself to look away from the screen and stuff while i play.
@@SilviusValerian bit tough for bow to do that given its a gyro weapon and not a tap spam style either...
Best I can think of is a focus 5 setup? You won't be clearing anything as quickly as a full dps raw but the faster charge times should let you be greedy for max charge so you don't need to pay too much attention
